SBI net banking has introduced new secure login policy for its online portal, so it has asked me to change my password as it is no longer valid. But no matter how many times i have tried to change my password, the website shows it as invalid password. This is the most uncomfortable thing SBI has come up with so far, there is no online customer support as well

    I have been asked to change my password as my older password for net banking is no longer valid due to SBI's new net banking policy.
    But no matter how many times i have tried to create a new password it showing as invalid password only. No option to reach out customer service for net banking as well.

      I was booking flight on 19/03/2021, through indigo airline. Payment got deducted but flight ticket didn't get booked.

      Pathetic OTP service that comes 5 mins later, when session is almost timed out. First time OTP didn't receive, re-tried. Inputted the OTP recieved, payment got successful but flight ticket didn't book (coz OTP was incorrect), then why the hell payment was successful. I need refund asap. I have paid 24040/- & it's not a small amount for me to re-try booking.

          I have gone through all procedure for resetting the profile password in the State bank Branch.
          but the employers having lack of knowledge, still they are sitting in the bank in respectfully positions.
          After waiting so long i complaints for it many times in chandigarh headoffice, but the same thing back again.
          they saying they already talk to our branch and they will do further action.
          i just want to ask, is it the way this goverment bank deal with their customer.
          thats why all prefer to go for private bank, for satified services.

              I have opened an a/c in June'2011. After getting my netbanking username and password, I have reset these to my own choice. Then I have opened the netbanking account twice to check my balance.
              Two weeks after that, when I tried to open a/c an error is shown " username /password is invalid" though I gave the correct credentials I get the same error. No way to track what is the problem and no way to reset my username/password. I have been trying to call customer care, nobody picks the call. I serached in website and got some mail ID of SBI customer grievance resolving cell. But mails are bouncing.

              I fed up with this bank with in one month. For last two years I am using HDFC. I never faced this problem. Since it provides an option to reset password.
              Because of this I have not paid my credit card bills and end up paying late fee.

                    Hi All,
                    I had went to bank on July 24 2010 to apply for Netbanking. Actually i had opted for Netbanking service while opening the account itself. But they said i need the apply separately for this service. For giving the kit they asked me to wait from 11.30am to 1.10pm. Paitently me too waited. Then the person called me and just taken a kit(cover which contains userid and password) and got the sign. I asked when it will be activated. He replied on wednesday(i.e. July 28). But when i tried on that day it says invalid userid or password. Hence i mailed them on Thursday regarding this, but still no reply for my mail.

                    My Questions are:
                    1. Why cant he give the kit when i given the form.(Did they think customers are fool to waste their precious time)
                    2. If there is no response to the customer mail what we have to do?

                      Before 02 days I got my username & password for internet banking for my individual account.But, I am not able to log in the State Bank of India internet banking. whenever I try to log in it indicates incorrect usename or password.

                        Hi,

                        This is to bring notice that I have a savings bank account with State Bank of India and I use netbanking with my credentials. There is a Loan account[protected] on my name which was never processed. I contacted customer care for the same from where I was suggested to contact the branch manager of that branch . The branch manager assured me that due to technical error, this is showing under netbanking account detail however he will get it rectified after consulting technical team. I also submitted one written application to him for this complain but I can see the account still appearing on my name. I am submitting this complain just to have a written evidence in case I am charged a single interest amount for the same where I have requested the bank to rectify the issue and get it removed from my account detail caption.

                          This is a long time problem in sbi net banking. i have an individual a/c and a joint a/c. for my joint a/c, I have been struggling for 4 years to activate my net banking account. every time i go to the branch and complain, i get a new kit which they say will be activated next day. but it never gets activated. and nobody in the branch is helpful.

I logged in to my account with the given password and ID & as instructed immediately changed my pass word.
