We had to board the bus from pondicherry to Bangalore and it was raining heavily! The bus conductor did not give us the proper location and made us roam around for an hour in the rain at 11:00 in the night. We are all ladies. Then when we reached the place the operator tells me the bus had departed. My mother who then was frustrated yelled at the bus operators to which many other guys ganged us against us telling it is our fault that and putting the whole blame on us! It was really scary as this was all happening in the middle of the night in an unknown city. Then we had no choice but to board whatever next bus they gave us. The conductor verbally started abusing us as soon as we boarded and then slammed the door in our faces when we wanted to ask something. They did not provide us with proper blanket and pillow in the A/C bus and even threatened to leave us in the middle of the night at the rest stop . The most horrible service i have ever seen!! They should stick to driving lorrys not a bus service. They act as if we are travelling for free in their bus. This kind of behaviour is sure to lead to an incident in the future; it is especially unsafe for ladies. Please do the needful

Money duped by asking transport charges of materials

Full Description -
1. They asked 7000 to transport goods weighing 1.45 MT from Kadi, Mehsana to Lucknow
2. After an hour, Nandlal claiming to be the owner of transport called from [protected] and said the charges are 10000 instead of 7000
3. I asked them to take remaining 3000 post delivery of materials in Lucknow though they insisted for 100% amount before shipping. Hence i transferred remaining amount as well.
4. After an hour or so, he said the truck is available for 15K, so i paid him 5K more
5. Then i asked for transport receipt, then he told that 5K is still not received. So he asked for 5K again and assured that he will refund 5K once he receives.
6. So the total amount paid to them is 20K, thereafter asking for transport receipt he confirmed that it will be issued in an hour or two.
7. When i called him after an hour, he asked to wait for 5-10 minutes
8.After that he called to say that you better arrange truck from somewhere else and your money is gone.

I booked 2 tickets on 19.03.2020 from Mumbai to manwat journey date is 24.03.2020 Rs.2400/- on 20.03.2020 your staff intimate me the bus was cancelled and your amount will refunded in 2/3 days in account but till date amount not received and any your contact numbers not pick up.

unsafe trip & inhumane towards female passengers & senior citizen

I know that there is no use in logging complaint against sharma transport but i feel it is my rights to make me heard against bad service, unsafe trip experience & disrespectful conductors.
I had booked tickets from bangalore to pondicherry on 07jul17.
Ticket no: tk7y62939433, departure time : 22.50pm, boarding point: bommanahalli
Following are the issues i faced before & during my trip
1) bus delayed (Delayed by 1 hour & 45 mins)
2) no response from customer care
3) bad & abusive behavior of the conductor
4) no courtesy & inhuman towards female passengers & senior citizen
5) my seat was already allotted to someone when i boarded the bus
I reached my stop at 22:30pm. At first, i tried reaching the customer care number to get the bus no. - no response
I waited for an hour and then tried to check the status of the bus - no response
Later after one more hour of wait, i tried the helpline & main office number to register my complaints - no response
I had to travel with my 3 year old kid & my mother in law aged (58). My kid was very excited as it was his first trip in bus, after an hour of wait, he could not resist to stay awake & managed to sleep on my shoulder. My mother in law exhausted all her energy & finally sat on the road. Another hour of wait holding my son on my shoulder continued by running close to every sharma bus i see to check whether it is my bus.
Finally the bus reached @ 12:30am. My mother in law rushed to catch the bus which was far from the place we stood. When she was about to board, she was stopped by the conductor & questioned very rudely.
When i reached, i explained the conductor that we are trying to board non ac sleeper bus which goes to pondicherry. Then he let us to enter the bus. We both o[censored]s managed to carry 3 bags & my kid on my shoulder.
I asked the conductor to move the bag which was kept on the stairs, i was shocked by the response
Oh! I should move the bag?? The response was as if he is the owner of the bus & we were slaves working under him.
Finally i boarded the bus & shocked to see that my seat was already allotted to someone. The lady who occupied the seat for which i had made full payment a week before reacted, this is also not my seat & questioned the conductor why did you board me into this bus which has no seat?
Conductor was busy arranging the alternate seat for her and did not help or leave way to my mother in law who was trying hard to board the bus with 2 bags.
We were totally tired & managed by our self to get our bags & occupied the seat. After a while, i was trying hard to stay relaxed but i could not. If i had delayed by few minutes, the bus would have left with alternate passenger in my seat and they would have informed that we were not in the boarding point.
One final question, i have
Whom should i blame for all these which had happened & made my travel experience very bad & unsafe??
Sharma transport or me who choose sharma??

Hi All,
Have booked ticket for trichy to bangalore on sunday night 10.3o pm in NON AC sleeper, But the bus service was not confirmed till the end, Have called sharme trichy office 3 to 4 times to confirm the service, but they said they can confirm the service availablility only at 8 pm in the night where as my bus schedule is at 10.30 pm.
Then at 8 o clock in the night when i have called sharma trichy office they said me that buses may run but depends upon the situation it may stop at hosur itself.
As a girl it is very risky to travel like that since Kauvery issue is going on, So I called them and said that I am not traveling and asked them to refund the full amount, Since this is lack of their response and service availability.
When I have asked Sharma bangalore office, they confimed that service was not at all running from trichy to bangalore for past 15 days. They are just cheating and looting people's money.

Improper Behaviour of Staff

Shanmugam, a cleaner or assistant of Sharma Transports at Madurai Mattuthavano Bus Stand was Very Arrogant and Very Unprofessional in behaviour with the Customers. He I'll treated the customers by saying "go and sit in your place till we call" when we try to open the door of the bus and that too with very indecent and unprofessional body language.

Bus not maintained properly

Hi
My name is Bose and i am from bangalore.
Myself and my manager has been booked tickets from Bangalore to Coimbatore in Sharma Transports booked via Redbus for the travel on[protected]. Booked bus is Semi-sleeper and non-a/c and ticket charges of Rs.450/- per seat. Boarding at madiwala Sharma office at 11.10PM.
Once after boarding the bus we identified bedbugs in the seats and almost all the passengers are standing and checking the seats found almost all the seats having bedbugs. Informed the driver and called and updated to madiwala office too. But no action from both and driver continue to drive. After we shout at him that we can't con
tinue travel for another 7 hours then only he stopped and not ready to ask his office to arrange another bus.
We were fighting to board another bus from 11.30 PM to 3.00 AM at madiwala as Sharma transports not ready to refund / arrange another bus. After we approach to police only they arranged the bus which is also having the same problem - bedbugs.
They are not even bother on customers that how to travel for nearly 7 hours with these kind of issues and if management not ready to correct their problems but to hide their fault that bus is not maintained well.
This should spread to each of the person who booked in Sharma should know this fact also should not suffer like us.

i had a very bad experience with SHARMA travels, the bus from kodaikanal to bangalore on 24th july, 2011. The registration number of the bus was KA 01 AA 5274. the drawback of the sharma travels are:
1) It will stop at worst hotels for dinner, where no hygenic toilet facilities wil be available, especially when u are with family and children. Might be the hotel people will pay the drivers and cleaners some comission.
2) The worst part is, the bus stopped at point for longtime at busstands (i think, it was dindugul) and get loaded on the roof top. If enquired with the bus staff, they say the baggage belongs to sharma travels. The place was stinking and rotten smell all around.
The bus was in good condition, but all the activities of the travels and bus staff should be good, then only it will be a suceesful travel. I have advised all my frens and relatives not to take private carriers at all and go with Rajahamsa or Iravata...

First up all i introduce myself here.
My Name is Gnanavel N working in Pune my Home Town is Chennai.
Actually i am reserved my ticket in redbus.in for journey from Bangalore to Pune in your Sharma Transports, Volvo-multi axle vehicle number "KA 01 AA 6175". My Seat Number is 35 and pick up time is 03.30 PM at Bell Hotel, Near by Bangalore City Railway Station.
When i am traveling to pickup point i am stuck-up in traffic. i am reached there by 03.35 PM somewhat late for 5 min. I didn't find the bus over there after that i got confirmation that bus is already left. After the Pick point office guy call some number and he tell that bus in rajaji nagar pickup point. if your able to catch that just go and catch that.
I taken a auto and reach by 15 min journey to that place. After get inside bus the Staff is telling that your bus is gone this is another bus you need to pay half of the original amount Rs. 700. I paid that amount then only staff allow me to board. I didn;t get the reserved seat also.
Sir, i need the reply back about is there any bus is operating by you.
And i need to bring something for your notice. When one person is not in the pickup point you people doesn't call that passenger asking the status.
This is my first journey in Sharma Transports. Such a horrible journey in the first journey itself.
I travel more then 10 times pune to bangalore and bangalore to pune each and every time the travels confirm me when i am boarding.
This is first and last journey in your transport. if any one ask about your transport service definitely i will tell this experience to them.

Sharma Transports — Duplicate ticket issue
I booked 2 ticket's through www.sharmatransport.com online site(from Hyderabad to Bangalore for 5th September 2011.Evening by payment of Rs.1700) when i went to boarding station they told me due to some software issue tickets has been issued in duplicate, hence they can't put me in the service what i have booked and finally. They also told me that i have to board another bus which has cancelled due to breakdown. There is no bus number written on eTicket, so i cant find out whelther they are true about that. After a quarrel they adjusted me in same service.There seems to be some fraud in this service. Beware of Sharmatransport fraud.

Bed bugs in "Luxury Coach"

I reside in Bangalore and am a regular traveller to Pala. This writing is based on my travel experience between Oct 2010 - Nov 2010.
During this period, I was travelling almost every week to my native town, Pala (Kottayam). As I personally knew the travel agents, I booked tickets through them for Sharma Transports (www.sharmatransports.com). Bus would be either Volvo 2X2 A/C (via Kottayam) or non-AC semi-sleepers (via Mundakayam).
Both the buses have, especially the Volvo, had a lot of bedbugs on them (in malayalam, mootta :-), on every seats with characteristics such as big, black, easily visible using naked eyes.
As soon the sun sets, you can see travellers starting itching their hands, feets, even their face due to bedbug bites.. It will continue throughout the night and you can feel a lot of insects running through you body, every where, including private regions. So terrific and annoyoing, as you could imagine. Everytime, after the travel, I call to their office and they always say, "sorry to hear that, but it mihght have happened since we used the spare bus on that day". One thing I would like to say, they are very polite in replying this, though. But I wonder why they are using 'spare bus' on every day, or is that the word they use for the 'regular bus'.
The issues with bedbugs are, in my view:
1. itching/irritation for atleast 3 days
2. swelling where we got bitten and heavy scratching required
3. bags/luggages can contain bedbugs and they can multiply in thousands in a few days time. (which means, if your dress/bags/lugguages contain a pair of them, high chances are there that you take them home and they multiple there. You can see a lot of similar stories from internet. Just imagine your home has children living there)
4. If you tell your family (or they see you scratching yourself), they don't allow you get in to the home, unless you change your dress and take a dettol bath. If you are going to a relative/friends home, where you have no optoin to tell them/change dress/bath before entering house, you are doing really making them abandon their house by contaminating it with bedbugs which will multiple in thousands.
4. really hard to remove them from home, unless you heavily apply pesticides and stay away for atleast a week)
Considering all these, I really want to travel on a sharma transports with no bedbugs. This way I can help my friends who are travel agents and that also help me in obtaining tickets easily. Now a days, I trying to get tickets from other travel agents on other buses (like kallada, A1, SPS etc) for the fear spreading begbugs to my home.
Also, let me know how can I advise/assist more to Sharma Transports people to get rid of BEDBUGS

Refund of ticket

I booked two tickets from Bangalore to Pondicherry on[protected] in Sharma Transport.The bus ticket paid by me was Rs1500 for two persons.They informed me that the bus will leave at 9 am from majestic and asked us to come to their office at majestic.On reporting they asked us to go to kalasipalyam and told us that the bus will leave from Kalasiplayam(market). None of the Auto drivers were ready ot take us to Kalasiplayam and the Sharma Transport staff did not bother to make any arrangements,however with much difficulty I reached Kalasiplayam at 8.45 pm. The bus bearing No KA 51 A3036 departed at 10.30 pm,the bus was hit by another car at 8AM next day morning. After travelling half the distance and we were already late by more than 5 hours.They did not make any alternate arrangements and they did not refund any money. I was left on the way not knowing what to do. I am a central government employee and had to go to Pondicherry by 9 AM.Since I could't reach in time I was put in agony and mental presure.Being a lady I couldn't do any thing and I had to travel standing in another bus and fell sick.
The careless attitude of the Sharma Transport corporaion is punishable and they have to atleast refund the entire ticket charges.
Kindly get me back the amount paid by me ie Rs 1500.If they refuse to pay I may have to approach other authorities so that such travel agents should be punished.

My mother booked a ticket from chennai to bangalore, and she had informed
the conductor prior to the journey to let her know of HOSUR STOP .He dropped her in Attibele at 4.30 am, under false pretences. He said that was HOSUR stop.
This is very risky when you consider the safety issues and getting a bus back to Hosur. Atleast he could have told the truth and suggested to get down in Bangalore.
Very bad service.

The owner of sharma Transports Kalashipalyam BLR is Sunil Kumar Sharma, he is basically north Indian and he came BLR as MT hand and now made money in crs by our KANNADIGAS , he is running the transport ALSO by our kannadigas
.BUT Now days he is throwing all old staffs without any reasons, no one is there to ask why ? every one will silent after eating their money!! any one is there to ask...
