Water in petrol
I’m a regular user of shell products both petrol and diesel. My scooter stopped today and I brought it to the Honda authorised service station and they found water in the tank and carburettor . I’m shocked and bemused at the quality of the petrol dispensed . I pay extra money for ur quality and this is what I get . This fuel is filled at shell pump station in hbr layout Bangalore . Pls look into this . Make them shut down the bunk and get the issue sorted . I had 3/4 tank full and I feel so cheated by your franchise and by shell .

Ihave shell cash card, i have been using it for quite an long time. I had received an message from you to as to the validity of the card expires next month and thereby i need to exhaust all the amounts available in the card but unfortunately i had recharged with Rs.8000/- previous day itself. In this regard i met the staff at the counter at Dr.Rajkumar road shell petrol bunk where this card was issued, he gave me confidence that he excess money would be refunded not to worry. In this regard i have written mail to the cusotmer service and inturn they have been asking the same details which i have sent them in my trail mail and they have been giving unnecessary excuses from past 10months...this is one which i never expected from shell...i think they are palying around with me...pls suggest should i place and consumer complaint aginst the bunk who have issued the card... i am really frustated in attempting to call them and writing mails to them which they dont answer...i would expect sincere reply from the CRM department in this.. they can reply back to sathya.[protected]@gmail.com or can call me at [protected]

Unprofessional mechanic for oil change
Today I visited shell petrol Bunk at old madras road for changing engine oil to my Maruti Eeco car.The Mechanic removed oil filter and put new one. Next he try to remove oil net to remove oil from my car engine, But it as not coming because instead of removing, He has made over-tight the net. Then he try to lift the car up through car lifting jack at shell petrol bunk, Before lifting the car, He used four support bed under chassie, back wheel side kept correctly and in front side he kept the bed to under car door side wrongly and lifted the car in a seconds car become dented both sides. Now the mechanic try to say Iam sorry, with his sorry my car dent will removed. So now the shell company should bare my car dent cost. I finally request the shell company to avoid or the stop the oil changing services at your shell petrol bunk.

I'm complaining about bad behaviour from the staff

Today I visited the shell petrol pump located in hunsur road mysore, where I filled 3.5 litres of V-power petrol in the scooter. Then the staff swiped more than 4 times and then she said to swipe in the office. when I came back to my home, I checked the bank statement and I found that the petrol pump has deducted 2 times and 2 different amount, one was 330 rupees and 338 rupees. After noticing this I went back to the petrol pump and asked about it in the office, and one of the staff started to mentioning that it was not there mistake but the bank problem. But I asked how can you deduct 2 different amount for a single refill. Later on, he started to misbehave. Please take neccesory action against the staff and the agency.

Damaged Car engine
I visited Shell India Petrol pump at Service Rd, Ferns City, Doddanekkundi, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560048 for OIL change for maruti stingray car on 28/6/2020 they charged for 4ls oil and OVERFILLED engine oil and my car broke down and damaged engine parts.
Moreover the CAR engine of my car is permanently damaged for which i demand compensation from Shell.

I went to shell to fuel my vehicle and as my tyre was inflated i aske one of the guy to fill air, but he replied. That there is no air pressure bhut whenm i went myself to fill air they turned it off, and when i asked they did not respond

First of all shell customer complaint is operational till 5:30 pm despite of their retail outlet operational for 24 hours. What about the grievances faced by the company during silent hours?
I have recently visited shell retail outlet at ambli-ahmedabad. At the time of filling the air, service personnel just deflated my tyre and misplaced the valve at 10:00 pm. On discussion it was apprised that they were not having any spare valves and other things to fix my tyre.
At first, employees at outlet didn’t gave me contact of retail outlet manager and when manager came he was very rude and on asked for the contact of area manager, i was rudely told of no area manager controls the station and he is only in charge of every operation.
Next he told me to leave my vehicle and come back tomorrow. I told them that i have to travel long distance and have to leave city tomorrow so i can’t leave my vehicle. Next option he gave was that one of the person from outlet will take my vehicle to nearest retail outlet i. E iocl and get it fixed. Considering the distance, it will take more than 1-2 hours for him to come back.
I am stranded at the retail outlet at 10:30 pm in cold winter night with no information of where my vehicle is. Also now that he has taken my vehicle, he will come back with the exhausted tank for which i am not having extra bucks to pay.
I am stranded at shell ambli-ahmedabad retail outlet without any clue at late night for which no personnel at shell is taking responsibility.
I need my grievance to be answered at the earliest.

Sir,
I visited Shell Petrol Pump, Nice Road Junction, Basaweswara Enterprises, Kengeri, Bangalore on 12th November 2019 at 06:00pm for changing my bike's engine oil. Today morning when I was about to leave to my office I found that almost 200ml oil leaked. I am pretty sure that this happened because of their staff's fault. Just because of this incident I had to take half day leave where they will deduct my salary. Since they couldn't fix the issue from their showroom they gave it to Yamaha showroom and I got my bike back today evening. And then I noticed that they didn't refill the fuel that they used for transportation.
Apart from this I would really like to thank The Manager, Mr.Shashi for his helping hand.
I am looking forward to hear from you what action you have taken against this complaint. Along with this mail I am attaching photos of bill and leakage.

bad staff behaviour

I’m complaining about the rude staff behaviour by staff at shell v power at basavanagudi bangalore. She has asked me to get down of byke while filling petrol. May be a good idea behind but when asked for rational for getting down, she answered rudely saying “adella namage gothilla nama manager ge kelkolli yakeanthe!! Hakuskolodidre hakiskoli illa ande hogi bere customer idare” what rude way of speaking to customer is it!!! Left the petrol pump without filling. How good the petrol quality may be. Such staff behaviour is not good for the company. Hope this complaint is addressed.

cheating and arguing badly with me and not given printed bill

First in the list the meter display was not shown to me before fill diesel... When i asked your attendent why you did not show me the meter and she replies why do you want to fight in early morning... Then i see except manager all other comes to me started shouting saying she is right i am wrong i don't doubt on shell quality but i still doubt on litres which is loaded in my car and i get a printed bill which it has only amount but not liter this makes very clear that attendent has not refilled 10 liter of diesel... I have a image of the bill and this happens in jp nagar outlet ring road bangalore and when i asked for your outlet code they are giving me explosive licence number p279509 as outlet code this is how customer is being cheated and behaved rudely

I am using honda unicorn from last 4 years. And only using via power. But from one month it's black smoking in silencer. I visited your Mundhawa bypass, pune pump for the same.
I am shocked and surprised after speaking with him. He only admitted that its not good quality petrol.

petrol pump guys cheating petrol

In the shell petrol pump, the guy didnt lock the gun voluntarily and he stopped the pump inbetween and tried to close the bill. I interrupted that it was not 100 rs yet. so he managed with lies that there was error but I saw no error. he closed it and again refilled for the balance amount.
I have attached the bill here and the attitude also was very rude. I am not sure if even the machine is calibrated correctly for the right quantity and amount.

I am a fan of shell for several years and i have a very positive outlook about shell and its services.
I stay very close to your fuel service station at h. D kote road, (Opp nie college) mysore 570008
Of late the services at the petrol station is very poor. First, the staff, attitude towards customer is very unbecoming to say the least. They have no manners and it looks like most of them have been picked up from the nearby circle and offered a job. They treat customers especially the elderly and ladies with complete disdain.
The manage of the service station is not to be seen at all, and when asked for the complaint book, they say that no such thing is available. Accessory service like air is not regularly available. Most of the staff while away their time chit chatting and never concentrate on the clients.
While i am very happy with the quality of both diesel and petrol, the services of the staff is absolutely zero. It looks like people have been recruited from the villages, with absolutely no training in dealing with customers.
May i also add that the services of your branch at hunsur road, mysore is good and courteous. I request you to kindly address the problem here.

car engine seized after oil change due to faulty workmanship - porur chennai outlet

I had been to porur outlet in chennai to fill fuel. On regular check the staff informed me of oil change and i asked him to carry out the oil change, they did the complete oil change with change of filter and also changed the coolant.
Due to poor quality of workmanship, my car stopped after driving about 300 kms. On calling the mecanic he informed me that due to bad fitment of oil filter there was leakage of engine oil and the engine had seized, i had to spend about rs 30000 to do up the car.
I registered a written complaint with the outlet on 29/8/2018 ref complaint # 09898.
I had also spoken to mr mani who was responsible on phone since he was not present at outlet.
The behaviour of the staff at outlet mr john was rude to say the least.
After repeated phone calls i realised the person mr mani who i was talking to was not even a shell staff and after lots of struggle one ms smrithi called me from shell, she introduced herself as territory manager, she refused to share her official contact number,
After nearly a month i again went to their outlet on 16/9 and even then mr mani was not available, both mr mani and ms smrithi came on a concall and accepted as a goodwill measure to replace the oil and filter. And wanted me to sign a closure of complaint letter.
I refused to accept since i had suffered a bigger loss due to their negligence.
The rude attitude and behavior of the staff is also totally unacceptable.
Both mr mani and ms smrithi also asked me to take up matter at any level as they could not do anything more.
I intend taking up the issue with consumer forum and any other suitable forum to get necessary reply and justice,

Hello TEam, the time on bill generated is incorrect. Currnet time is 5:24 pm. i have filled in the fuel @ 10:00 am .. how come the bill is generated for 22:09. sometime is serious incorrect

Today morning i have gone my near petrol pump. I have told to ms smita shell petrol pump operater rs 150/ petrol filling, but she is directly start the pump without"0" within 20 second told me you transection is complete, i have shock' without 0 how filling the fuel and i have show my vehicle petrol tank, only approximately 1/2 ltrs petrol in side, i have told to manager, manager asked me you have any dout to my pumps you're not my pumps station, other'wise you are most problem in your life, you are not know this is a sheel fuel station. This types warning to me, how possible it is crime pump station.
Sorry to sys this types behaviour not good for business.

I went to fill fuel and had full tank. They said it is free check of engine oil check and coolant check. Every thing was fine and upto the full levels, but the guy who posed and said to be an expert suggested to buy a litre of coolant say that it changed its colour. Believing him, i asked to refill. Instead of refilling, he removed the existing coolant and filled with the one he brought from inside. He did not have a funnel to pour the coolant and he sprinkled it all over the engine parts. He said the station does not have a funnel. He could fill only 300 ml and asked me a refill the remaining 700 ml in future. The 300 ml he filled was by removing the existing coolant from my card. I asked for the bill, with the number of my car. They said, they don't give bills with vehicle number.. From this incident you could get guess how shell is fooling and looting the customers.in fact honda coolant need not be changed. As the shell put to a different kind of coolant which doesn't suit honda, i had to spend an hefty amount to drain out the entire coolant and to fill the original one. Shell guys are cheats. They do any thing for the sake of money. I suggest no one should go to this fuel station in particular and to any shell station in general.

It so happened twice that the diesel was filled in my car without showing the meter at zero reading. Same bunk and same person by the name of nisab or nasib as i could read from his name plate. On my questioning both the times he claims to have told me to see the zero reading. Surprise check may be done to ascertain the complaint.

intentionally not starting petrol intake from zero

Surat city, adajan gam shell petrol pump, the representative name is “rajesh chauhan”. I had given him warnings for 3rd time i saw him tampering with the petrol intake. It happened for the fourth time on 23th feb 2018, 7:35pm, when he did it again. Showing me “zero” on machine and intentionally not starting the petrol injection at zero but after 88rs he started injecting petrol and used bad words when i referred to his mistake. I want necessary action to be taken on him as it will defame the good name of shell because of some of such employees. I have submitted written complaint number 22819. Kindly look into it.

Respected sir / madam, my name is prithviraj. I reloaded my shell card on 13/12/17 for ₹3, 000. On 14/12/17, i fuelled up my vehicle for ₹2, 488 but when the card was swipped, they said the card had expired. I didn’t have any money with me to pay for the fuel becase i had reloaded the card. I contacted your customer care and spoke to mr lavan who was useless. My call id is 11927930. He didn’t understand anything in english. It was 2 am and i was in the fuel station asking mr lavan to do something but he didn’t understand anything. I finally had to make other arrangements so that i could pay for the fuel. I would like a compensation for all this incomviebvd caused or i’ll be taking this matter to the consumer forum.

I visited shell petrol pump located on mumbai banglore highway in warje, pune.
I asked to fill rs, 200 petrol in my bike, the person filling asked me to get down from bike fr security reasons and already the meter showed rs.100 of before customer and he filled more rs 100 petrol over it and told me rs.200 petrol is filled.
I have been cheated.

surcharge at fuel station using icici debit card - 17 mcc 5541

I have been charged rs 11.80 for using my debit to pay fuel worth of rs 350 from shell petrol pump, prahladnagar road, ahmedabad for 4 times now, by icici bank. I do not understand on what account this surcharge is charged. As per the government declared policy, at no point should the consumers be burdened with the mdr charges. These bought be shared between the banks, the oil companies and the fuel station outlets.
Quoting the state of the union minister dharmendra pradhan below
"banks and oil marketing companies (Omcs) will bear any burden of merchant discount rates (Mdr) on card transactions at petrol pumps.
Consumers will not be burdened with merchant discount rate (Mdr). Retail outlets (Petrol pumps) will also be kept out of its purview. Now it is between banks and omcs how they share it"

bogus engine check up

I recently visited the shell fuel bunk near taj vivantah yeshwanthpura, bangalore, where in when you stop your vehicle, they check under the bonet for coolant and engine oil, i being somewhat aware of my vehicle, knew i needed a coolant top up and my engine oil was perfectly alright, i told them the same and they toped up my coolant, immediately when i started my vehicle, i felt some disturbance in the timing, while i was filling air, i opened my bonet and checked things myself but due to the lack of light, i could not find the fault. I thought i will drive home 5km from there and then maybe visit my trusted mechanic in the morning. The vehicle kept getting aggressive and coming down without me even touching the accelerator pedal. Due to some reason, i decided to once open my bonet and inspect myself as i reached home in sufficient light. To my surprise, one of the pipes connecting my vehicle's cylinder head with the fuel injector was strategically removed and placed. The vehicle had also spit out some engine oil. Please be aware, next time you get your bonet opened with these people, might not have mind tricking me into buying engine oil but their actions could have caused wearing of my vehicle's engine block. Please be aware of these dacoits next time on.

safety container charged 500/-

My bike fule finished on[protected] middle of the road. I visited shell petrol pump located at gvpallya bangalore. They charged me 500/- for 1lt safety container and given commitment that the same amount is refundable at any time. After a week again i visited the same petrol pump for return the fuel container. The petrol pump manager misbehav me and denied to return the money. I want my money back and a strong action against that manager. You can contact me on [protected]

Misbehaviour at shell petrol station anand nagar ahmedabad

Dear sir,
I went for filling up diesel in my swift on 11.07.2017. I asked the operator (Mr. Harmesh yadav) to fill up the tank for full capacity. Without my consent he started filling up the tank with shell premium diesel which is at least 8 rupees costlier than the normal one. When suddenly i raised a query that why the price is displayed as 68.20, he replied that you only asked me to fill the tank with the premium diesel. To my surprise i countered his reply that i was not asked even once. Suddenly, mr harmesh yadav was joined by mr. Vijay dantani who started shouting loudly that it is me only who is at fault. Moreover, when i asked him to please behave in rational manner and stop interfering, he became angrier and started looking for stick for physically abusing us. If there is any video camera installed at the point, this incident happened between 8:05 pm to 8:20 pm on 11.07.2017. When we tried to complain to pump station manager mr. Sanjay pandit, he refused to provide us with complaint book and showed us the feedback book and told that even feedback book have no space to write anything. He replied that the new complaint book has not arrived. We had not expected such kind of behaviour at such a reputed oil pump station of a company known to be world's largest supplier of lubricant oils. I request to kindly investigate into the matter and corrective action should be taken against the officials involved so that they cannot tarnish the image of the company.

Bad service - no diesel stock, delay in shift staff changing, not cleaning front glass, staff not concerned of waiting customers

The bunk on mysore road i. E near the nayandhalli fly over. Especially the one towards left when going towards mysore, is the bunk that i have concern. Always, the bunk is closed after 10pm. There is no stock of diesel or close the bunk for change in staff. The staff does not clean the front glass and give reasons that after 9:30pm no cleaning. Also the staff is slow in service and not concerned of waiting customers.
