I have been charged RS 11.5 for using my debit to pay fuel worth of Rs 500 from Shell Petrol Pump, Hunsur Road, Mysore for two times now, by ICICI bank. I do not understand on what account this Surcharge is charged. As per the government declared policy, at no point should the consumers be burdened with the MDR charges. These ought be shared between the banks, the oil companies and the fuel station Outlets.

Quoting the state of the Union minister Dharmendra Pradhanbelow

"Banks and oil marketing companies (OMCs) will bear any burden of Merchant Discount Rates (MDR) on card transactions at petrol pumps.

Consumers will not be burdened with Merchant Discount Rate (MDR). Retail outlets (petrol pumps) will also be kept out of its purview. Now it is between banks and OMCs how they share it "

I have very bad experience of refilling petrol in my bike at shell petrol pump at bangalore (Shell brookfield road, ssr enterprises). I asked them to put full tank, since my bike have 8l of fuel capacity. They filled 12.83 litres (957.12). Really got shocked how it possible 4+ liters are occupied in tank. For money they are doing these frauds. Worst petrol pump.
They guys are looting like anything, will never suggest anyone to go for shell petrol pumps. Still thinking the way they are cheating the people is unbelievable. Extremely bad.

I am a regular customer at she'll petrol pump, L.P.Savani road, Adajan, Surat.
Recently, I am observing the quantity of petrol filled is less for the money paid. I am filling for almost 2 years in this petrol pump & now I am getting less quantity. You may claim that due to varying petrol rates you may be feeling quantity is less. But it is not like that. I have been observing since 2 years at varying rates. Generally I get my Honda activa filled for 300 rupees & I am noticing drastic decrease in tank level now a days. Also when I ask for receipt from the filing pump, the operator says it is not operating & he says you can get the bill from office. Suspecting some irregularity / cheating going on. I request shell company to check the filing pump meters for any irregularIitis. I also get my 4 wheeler filled in that petrol & feeling is same. I am getting reduced kilometer reading.

We have been using both the cards regularly and recharging them
Online. Ten days ago we recharged both the cards with 2000/- on each
Card and when we tried using them it is declined at the pumps stating
The card has expired.

We have lodged several complaints since last one week and every time
We call we only get the standard reply stating some one will call
Back. No one called us back until now and we fail to understand why
The valid cards are getting rejected at pumps before you send the new
Cards.

We are surprised to note that company like shell giving this kind of
Answers over telephone.

Please let us know if you can quickly resolve this problem.

I' am regular customer to the SHELL Kundalahalli -560037, Bangalore, India. Today 29-Mar-2017 i visited the same store at 3:05 PM and noticed very few vehicles are waiting and after sometime vehicles became more vehicles, also operators are waiting for something. we are fed up after 15 mins and s a lady customer got down from her car and shouting like why you guys are making us to wait from the long time without the reason. One of the manager replied there is a change of shift timings to the staff so its taking time. ( which is silly reason) and i noticed staff is communicating that whether the pump is on or off, later i released that there is a power failure at the store. This power failures i noticed many time at the same petrol bunk which takes 15-20 mins to start the generator. staff don't share this failure info to the customers and customers are waiting for there turn without knowing the reason. The store manger /Supervisor is responsible for this type of problems. Frequent of power failures i saw many times here and everytime customers are irritated with this delay, this petrol bunk is spoiling the SHELL reputation. Please take necessary action.

I have been filling diesel from Shell petrol pump at Hinjawadi Rd, Hinjawadi Village, Pune, Maharashtra 411057, India.

I have used my debit card a number of times to pay the fuel cost.

My Bank Kotak Mahindra does not charge any fuel surcharge but the Shell dealer mentioned above is directly deducting additional money and that too directly from my bank account. He deduct the money 20-30 days after I fill the diesel and that too this is done without informing.

I contacted the Bank, Kotak Bank told me that it's not surcharge but additional money deducted by Shell India.

More importantly this was done when the government of India had waived off all these charges for demonetization.

Can you please explain me what is going on and why your dealers are secretly deducting money from the bank account of customers.

Dear Sir, I am customer of She'll petroleum last 9 years . Bommnahalli petrol. Bangalore.Your employees are not active pump operators. Very very slow filling petrol and diesel. And I asked today 13/02/2017 evening 6.10 pm . Please check CCTV putages.
I asked pump operator why you filling petrol slowly . They are showing roudly.

Shell petrol pump located in Kharadi magarpata road i.e Mundhva area.
Are not accepting card payment from last 3 week, every time they are giving excuse link is down or machine is not working, last week after having heated conversion with petrol pump manager we ask to try first machine is working or not and in first try we got successful payment and after word is start working.
Now this week they are straight away telling people machine is not with us we send all payment machine outside pump station you have to pay by cash.

I posses a Car Elite I20 Sportz Option, which has a fuel tank capacity of 45 liters. I went to the Shell Petrol Dealer mentioned in this complaint to fill the fuel in my car. When the employee at fuel station done filling petrol in my car's tank the reading showed 50.89L WITHOUT TOP UP. I drove to fuel station so there should be some fuel already in the car and still the employee of that fuel station managed to pump 50.89L in it. This is clear cheating.

I had reloaded ₹20000 to Shell cash card (Card#[protected] on 14.11.2015, through NEFT from ICICI bank account. Transaction reference number is[protected]. I had raised a compliant on 28.11.2015 with Shell customer care for amount not reflecting even though amount was deducted from my bank account. So far I have raised 10-12 complaints. Every time I get the same response saying it will be processed tomorrow evening and amount will be available in your account by day-after-tomorrow. However, amount is not credited to my bank account.

I am a regular customer of Shell petrol bunk in Bommanahalli, Bangalore. In Bommanahalli, Shell petrol bunk is located near Oxford college. Here, everytime we need to stand while they are filling the petrol. If we ask them for a reason, they are saying that, this is the rule their company following. Unless otherwise some rules given by Indian government, they can't simply form some rules on their own.

If we are in hurry and need to fill fuel fast, we can't stand and wait for them to fill, that time, they are not even filling the fuel. They are treating consumers like they are giving petrol for free of cost. This worst behaviour needs to be stopped immediately. As per consumer law, a consumer have a right to get a service from a service provider. Unless otherwise any instruction given by the Indian government, they are not supposed to create their own rules. Shell petrol need to answer this query, they have to stop treating consumers like slaves. In India, Shell should follow Indian government rules and regulation. If the same behaviour continued in future, I will file a case against Shell India.
