Sodexo Meal Pass Complaints & Reviews

I have ordered my food from Swiggy from Sodexo shop, but I didn't get my food delivery and status shows that my food is delivered in Sodexo Zeta app. Also there not responding my phone and chats. Really got unsatisfactory service. Now I'm apecting refund back urgently.

Sodexo customer care is pathetic, no one responds to the calls and very rarely they reply to our emails. I am tired of calling them again and again and no response.

I did not get my physical sodexo meal pass card yet, its already expired a month back and they are advising us to use virtual cards, most of the shops are accepting only physical cards, but they are not issuing the physical cards to us.

Feeliny useless to have Sodexo Meal pass. It is not even accepting in D Marts ( Avenue Groups). While we were were Zeta, cards were accepted every where if it comes under groceries and food section, but with Sodexo it is not possible. USELESS SODEXO.

Hi, I work for a Software company. I get Sodexo Meal pass from my company in place of one of the salary component for tax benefit. However I could not use few of the sodexo meal passes within validity period. Now When I contacted my HR, they says that they have stopped the process of re-validating expired sodexo passes. I went to New Rajesh Provision for monthly groceries purchases, however when tried to pay the bill via Sodexho Meal Pass, they told me that now no more accepting the sodexho meal passed. When I asked the reason why they stopped accepting the sodexho, told in turn that the company is not paying properly in time and they had high cash loss during the exchange. Moreover, sodexho people are not behaving properly nor replying in time.
Any store accepting sodexho, stops suddenly taking the meal passes. Sodexho website do not show the correct outlet details. Sodexho pass is just for show and cannot be used easily in the market.

Many of the other sodexho meal pass accepting outlets charges extra 4 to 8% extra on the purchase of groceries and food items. Big baazar is accepting the Sodexho meal pass with maximum purchase limit of 300 Rs. only ! Waste of Money just to save Save TAX for salaried employees.

This is regarding Sodexo Meal pass affiliate – Subway, Sector 50, Noida (full details mentioned below) is not acting as appropriate as a Sodexo affiliate should. Let me quote two incidents that I have faced with them:

1. I went to their shop (there is a big Sodexo sticker on the door) and ordered a sub there. The bill was Rs 102. I offered them Rs 100 meal pass and Rs 2 cash. However, the salesman there outrightly refused to take part payment in sodexo. He mentioned either I should pay entire Rs 102 in sodexo or the entire amount in cash. As you would know, there is no denomination of Rs 2 in sodexo, I tried to reason out with him, however he was adamant about it. After great difficulty, he finally agreed to accept it. However, this incident has been repeated even after that.
2. I ordered for home delivery and when I tried to pay through Sodexo, they mentioned that meal pass is accepted only for dine-in and not for home delivery.

I am not sure if Sodexo takes any feedback about your affiliates and if it checks on the appropriate acceptance of Sodexo at their affiliate outlets, but I thought it is imperative to pass on this feedback. I sincerely hope an appropriate action would be taken.

Yesterday (10/03/11) i used my sodexo meal pass in Murugan Margin free supermarket which is located in Guduvancheri. The total value of the bill is only Rs.328/-. But they charged me for Rs.342/-. Even the sodexo pass is tax free for the users the merchants are taking tax from the buyers pocket.
