They are not responding after receiving advance. Very poor service.. untrustworthy. We are waiting for more than 20days . No one is answering properly. Don’t trust

We bought an sofa from tradecenter nandambakkam chennai from the seller sofa world for rs.32000/on 06/2/2021. We paid advance amount 15, 000. no delivery yet. no proper response. very worst

I purchased cot in VR mall. The product was not in good condition and getting some noise. Have raised the complainant during February and still they have not resolved. Owner will.not feel for anything as we are only feeling after spending the hard earned money in the untrusted products.

Sofa worlds is worst furniture show room in Pune. We had taked furniture from Instlye furniture same venture of sofaworld run by his wife. they took 3Lac rupees for my furniture which is not up to the mark I am planning to go to consume court and teach them lesson that how to deal with customers.

Agree with everything:
False promises
No timely delivery
Poor quality
No building as per agreed specs
No action on followups by phone or personal visits!

Simply crap and absolutely NOT recommended.. I am kind of now of the opinion that ready made sofas are much cheaper and you get them at a good rate when there are deals around. Check in HOUSE FULL and similar showrooms.

I actually knew that they are crap after I had purchased the sofa. It was too late. Hope this helps someone smart enough to Google them before purchasing.

If you wish to go ahead with custom made sofas then get it from where they live up to what they say. You can ask about this from local Puneites who have got their sofas made.

Yes, I strongly agree with it. I am also suffering from same situation. I bought a Teak wood sofa from Sofa world 16, MG Road krachiwala chambers, basesment, 0pp, Mona food restorent, pune.One of single sitter they have used defective wood and I complained so many times but no one turned up. They have different excuses every time. In fact they dont bother about our complains. I complained with there manager, he commitET that thier carpenter will come to fix it but now it's been a month after several complains, no one came to attend it.. It wasthe worst experience of my life.

DOND WASTE YOUR MONEY TO BUY ANYTHING FROM SOFA WORLD, MG ROAD.

Agreed with everything.
They are just selling it. Once sold they dont bother about anything.
They got their sales person also fit for their shop, just sell and forget.
Till the time money is not paid they will treat you like anything.
Do not beleive on them all are false commitment.

PLEASE PLEASE do not buy any sofa from sofa world... They will do everything to cheat you...

I too have a similiar complain against SOFAWORLD in lullanagar Kondhwa road, Pune. The artificial leather cracked open before a year was up and they are asking me to pay 9000Rs for redoing it. I would say very poor quality, poor attitude and poor service. I would definitely not recommend.

Yes I agree too.This is the worst showroom who provide the bad quality things.I faced the similar problem.I bought a sofa costing me 22k.But after few days the sofa leather started cracking & now I dont have any option to dispose it off in very minimal return of 2ooo rupees only.

hi this is shree nadar from pune if you are talking about Sofa World of lulla nagar & camp Showroom which is in the base ment then this is right ... point ..

me am an E-Employee of Sofa World of M.G. road and lulla nagar the problem is not fr0om the staff because they do there duty

this is the problem ... with the properiter late Ashok thakkar who is not now

he is the arrogant man he never care about the costomer money there need

i was working in the period of 2007 there for three month i have to handled costomer delivery, costomer complain but the problem is that

his formula is not to waste month for some thing useful also

he never give money to the carpenter to repair ... in hindi he a chingus . i work there for 2 month ... i do my work carefully

in the two month there was a lot of problem of delivery which i resold

that man never like my job and he through me out of job

in fact he had kept my 1 month salary which today price is 12000

i am not welling to ask that one beacuse . he never respect any one so i left after that i started my own business

Trends Furniture — Problem with Sofa Purchase

Dear Sir,

This is with regards to a Sofa purchased from Trends Furniture located on Goregaon link Road. The Sofa that was booked and the one sent was completed different i quality. The one sent was very low in quality, within 15 days the metal supports of the sofa broke and when they were called for it they said the same shall be repaired for which the person visited our house after 2 months of continuous follow-ups and visits to the store.

Even after the repair was done it was corrected again it kept giving problems, on which the owner one Mr. Salim Shiakh asked us to get the sofa to the showroom it'll be repaired completely and given. It's been a year now that is not happening. Whenever we visit his shop he is not at the shop and on phonecalls they refuse to even talk. Now we are asking him to either refund the money or give another sofa. But nothing is being worked out from their part.

Let us know what can be done in this matter.

I bought a sofa from this SOFA WORLD and the very next day the surface of the cloth material has started to come out. when I contacted the operson AVINASH from camp unit. he says no warranty fo cloth... BUT warranty or no... does the material turn out bad the very next day of delivery.. VERY BAD MATERIAL USED INSPITE OF TAKING 30K and no response after that..
I told them HOW CAN THEY BUY SUCH INFERIOR MATERIAL AND TELL US NO WARRANTY...
Going to CONSUMER COURT...

Horrible after sales service, while making the furniture they will give you all sorts of guarantees and assurances saying dont worry 'hum hai na' but when u actually need them to work on ur complaint, they will say its your fault and not charge u for repair work. quality of work is absolutely poor and not durable at all. pls refrain from going to them as they are very good at selling but dont walk their talk at all.

Pathetic furniture quality .we bought leatherite sofa.. it started tearing in a years time ..so expensive sofa.. with WORST quality .They duped us on leatherite material .. all the people intending to buy any thing from SOFA WORLD should STOP buying it as u r money is wasted in bad stuff.Owner of sofa world should be put behind Bars ... not a good shop to invest UR valuable money...

bought a couch and the material has worn out at the back just over a year, my wife and i were wondering if there was some kind of warranty so she googled sofa world and arrived at this site, now we know not to even bother to try to ask them to fix it :( so so sad...

we purchased a sectional over a year ago from sofa world and now the material is wearing out at the back, my wife googled about their warranties and arrived at this site, now we believe that its a lost cause to pursue any sort of a guarantee from them :( so so sad

i agree with all the reviews listed hrre.
We got almost all the furniture from Sofa World and within a month I think its not value for money, the owner Madhuri Shetty will treat u as a guest till the order taking after finalisation of order she doesn't bother abt customer issue, instead she does tamasha. The quality of material is good but the quality of Work n finishing is of worst quality. I[censored] want to Buy Frustration then dnt go for it. Its USELESS N WORST EXP. For me. We r thinking to sell all furniture on OLX...n get work done from RADIENCE KITCHEN..

DONT GO FOR SOFA WORLD instead get readymade furniture.
