I applied for my passport renewal (file no. DL01W[protected]) on 01/07/2012 passport seva kendra, herald house, ITO, New Delhi. Within 8-10 days a police verification was done at my residence. But when I enquired through net, over telephone and visited the passport office at Bhikaji Kama Place(22/10/2012) , they said that no police verification report reached to them.
