My dad was met with an accident. He was taken to Stanley by ambulance through 108 service. Preliminary observation revealed that he has multiple fractures in right leg. I was asked to take him to cleaning, X-ray, CT scan, dressing, etc. I was asked for money everywhere to do their work for which they are already paid by the governement(which is ofcourse from the tax I pay). And no one is working with the mind set that human life is valuable. I was there in the hospital for about 1.5hrs and no first aid was given, only cleaning and x-ray scanning was performed though my dad was crying out of pain. Since, I was emotionally disturbed with my dad's accident, i paid bribe to everyone with out argument, otherwise they literally do not do anything. Then I realized it would be much more cheaper in private hospital instead of paying a huge money as bribe in Government hospital (within 1.5 hours, I paid ~Rs.3000 only as bribe). Then I shifted him to a private hospital (for arranging an amubulance for shifting, the ward boy asked Rs5000 just for 10km, after bargaining he accepted Rs3200). In private hospital he was treated for the pain within 30minutes and first aid was given within 1 hour. This is my pathetic experience in Government hospital! Since, I had money in my wallet I paid all the bribe which i was asked, just wondering what would happen to the people who has no money.!!! God save India from Bribery and Corruption.

This hospital is very large and electronically developed, but what to say, the beds are insufficient and, no water at taps, (Reality happened today)consider a freedom fighter aged 92 and is admitted and do not have bed and suffering from diarrhea, in this case the doctor says. Will see only bed allowed persons in prior, if need facility then go to other hospital or wait till we do medical emergency, here they don't consider patient as a human just said take and go for a living person. Need invigilator of hospital and ministry of health care system to visit and confirm and make it a confidential visit, so that they can't be aware of whom they are speaking.

For availing the treatment to my Mother in her Finger skin infection, so I have approached this hospital, in general ward the doctors were checked and suggested to skin specialists which is located in periodic building 8th floor stanley hospital, with my mom I entered in that floor the warden said that the doctors were in leave for[protected] to[protected] without any proper intimation which reflected in hand written bit of small paper sticks in OP division main door. At that movement I got disappointed and my mother got seviour pain in her finger, there was no doctors to attend the patients, this kind of pathetic condition happening in the government hospital.
