Hi

We bought Sukam Tabular Battery in August 19. Since May 2020 I have been facing difficulty/issues with battery backup. I did register complaint with local distributor and did drop off to service center however as per them battery is working fine & it should give a back of 3 hours on 400watt consumption.

My father is a dialysis patient and when light goes we have only operate 2 fans and not even turn on allout because it might consume battery back up. I have 2 questions

1. If battery was not faulty why was I told to drop the battery at service center as per sukam engineer who had visited my home.
2. 2 fans works at maximum 150 watt. As I was told the back will be 3 hours on 400 watt. Then automatically backup should increase as I am using less watt.

Since last 5 days after calling for complaint to dealer and distributor. Everyday I have been told someone will visit today or tomorrow but no-one is bothered to come.

Requesting your immediate intervention and hopefully issue will be resolved without third party support.

    The invertor runs good in running elecrtric motor but when it it comes to using ic controlled equipment like charger and other accessories it seems to run at the start but timely or after 1-2 days it damages the charger and other ic controlled stuffs i complained in the nearest dealer to get it repaired but they return it in the same condition. Plz help me about this situation what can i do.

      Hum aapke since 2006 se regular amc customer hai regular aap ki amc lete hai but kbhi bhi aapka engineer poore saal mai ek baar bhi visit krne nhi aata iss baar aapka engineer jb amc ke liye bulaya humne usse question pucha ki kya aap bina bulaye amc period mai visit nhi krte unhone answer diya hum bulane par hi aate hai uske baad unhone amc ki baat hi nhi ki aur mai hi abhi tak hmari amc continue huo hai kya company ka pait bhar gya hai jo vo customer ki taraf dhyan nhi de raha hai??

        I bought sukam inverter in the month of april 2015 with 02 year warranty On 25 sept 2015 some technical problem happen with my inverter.in this regard i lodge complain as on 26th sept 2015 and sukam complain reference no is [protected]. And as per company policy standard timeing for customer complain resoluation is 3 days. But after passing 12 days no proper response from company i called them on tollfree no sevral times(7to8) times but they gives excuse that they will call back me after 30 mintue After many cummunication they provide me guwahati sevice center mob no and when talk guwahati they told me that they will not come at home for repairing and they told me to bring inverter to their service center than they will repair.but as per company policy door step service..when told them about door step servicing policy they refuge and told me they will not come to repair at my home..           Dear Sir,

          I Purchased Su –Kam 600VA Invertor from M/s.Brigt n Power marketing chennai on 24/6/2011 wide Invoice number 2095 by paying Rs.13000 under Bright n power old invertor ( In this old inverter only Battery is failed after 4 years of working, they said new batteries are not a good quality and then I went for exchange ), During exchange they offered me a Warranty for 2 years and they assured to take AMC.

          But during last 1 and half year they never turned up to my house for Maintenance and I have to call they for filling distilled water and maintenance

          Last 3 months I called them for power back up issue, every time they visited and filled distilled water and given some reason to my and gone, we have not noticed the poor performance because the power cut between 10 to 6pm, But last month in January power cut is between 8 to 10 Am and we noticed the power back is less than 1hour , Again I complain to bright n Power on 24th January 2013, on same day a service engineer visited and found battery failed and he assured to replace battery within a week .

          This week I called more than 3 times and they said su kam will send a service person to replace the battery, yesterday again I called them for a confirmation, A lady said my product is not under warranty, I argued with them and she ask me to call tomorrow and discuss with his manger to get some stand by battery.

          Why should I settle with stand by battery, I paid Rs.13000, I Checked in the warranty card also mentioned ( The warranty Stand on All parts ( except LED’s, Switches and external body for home UPS will be for a period of 24 months).

          After I escalated this again to sukam, Service engineer visited and again he said your product is out of warranty, we have to pay Rs.11000 to change the battery

          I Need your intervene in this issue and resolve immediately.

            I GOT SUKAM INVERTER OF 3.5KVA FOR MY RETAIL GARMENT STORE,
            IT IS NOT SUPPORTING TO USER DURING THE TIME OF SWITCHING OFF THE UPS. I MADE COMPLIANT TO SUKAM SEVERAL TIMES.

            THEY VISITED THE SITE AND CONCLUDED THAT EVERY THING IS CLEAR,
            BUT UNFORTUNATELY ON THE DATE:8/11/2012 @ 3:30AM THE INVERTER SET COMPLETELY BURNT WITHOUT ANY NOTIFICATION,
            PLS PROVIDE ME PROPER SOLUTION FOR THIS

              SUKAM is wrost inverter to buy. Very Poor Service. I am using Mikrotek also in my office. My simple advice is to go with Mikrotek. Don't try saving Rs 500/-. Else you gonna repell for always.

              On October 2, 2011; I bought a 850VA-135 Inverter and it couldn't even handle a current of 8 tubelights at direct line, and fuse blows up every next hour. The engineer comes to handle the complaint "Raj Kumar Singh" says that I have to pay for fuse holder. Thats Ok, but he completely denied to resolve the actual issue, which is that why fuse is getting blow up. He says load is too high, but couldn't get that how can load of total 500watt could be high for a 850VA inverter. At battery also the backup lasts only 1.5 hours that too while using only 4 tube lights.

              The question here is that the load is in very much of limit & capacity of inverter but still fuse blows up. No way to get out of this problem and I need to uninstall the inverter from my line.

              Simply SU-Kam seems chienese kind of inverter; which has NO LIFE and NO RELIBILITY. Big Pain for consumer.

                  I have sukam invertor of 7.5 Kv. Every few days there is some or other problem- which takes 7-8 calls and multiple requests for engineer to come at odd hours.Also they refuse to give you new complaint no. because your last complaint has not been closed- even after 7-8 days- so you are on their mercy. Last time I spoke to Mr Shubham who is head of customer care dept ( as per they told me )- when I asked him why does this happen everytime - the reason given to me was because complaint of same invertor at same address was done by different people -i.e. Dr Vohra or Dr Shalini Vohra or Dr Santosh Vohra- which was ridiculous.Also the email addresses given by them were not working - I still have copy of email sent at address given by them. My recent complaints are [protected] dt 2/2/11- after 2 days engineer came -did nothing - said I am supposed to keep air blower system so that it can be cleaned -said he will come again and never turned up. After that my next complaint no. is [protected] dt 5/2/11, 7/2/11 and multiple calls - but ne engineer has called or visited and Mr Shubham is not available- I am told to call -next day, after 30 min or he will call back but nothing till now.I am still waiting for miracle to happen.This is my last hope - as I am sick and tired of calling their no. -

                    I had bought the inverter which is giving problem on 4th April 2009 and bought another one in June 2010 as the performance and services provided were better.

                    I had lodged a complaint on 3rd of July ,2010 that My Inverter is not giving proper backup. It was under full warranty of 15 months at the time of complaint. The company executive of Sucam came after 13 days on 16 July, 2010 and told us that one of the batteries is faulty. After a week one of the batteries was replaced, but after few days of battery replacement the problem started occurring again. I lodged a complaint again on 31st July, 2010 again vide complaint number – [protected]. The company executive came on 2nd August, 2010 and told that other battery of the inverter needs to be replaced.

                    It is very clear that both the battery were needed to be replaced when the first complaint was lodged on 03.07.2010 but your executive did not perform his duty properly. After my second complaint, the battery has not been replaced nor have we received any update either from the service centre or the dealer.
                    Kindly take necessary action for replacement of other battery immediately to save the reputation of your company.

                    I am now questioning my decision of buying your product again as even after investment of 25000 The inverter does not work properly even for 15months.

                      I had purchased the Sukam inverter on 10th May '10 from Moradabad.But ever since I faced tremendous problem with the service.I had lodged the last complaint on 04/06/2010 regarding my inverter & battery also . Engineer visited on 06/06/10 and said it will be replaced ASAP but it is not replaced.                       I purchased Su-Kam 850 VA inverter shiny S.No 50501B[protected] and Su-Kam 150AH tall Tubulor battery S.No.[protected] on[protected] from Deep Enterprises, Hyderabad. The inverter stopped working from[protected]. Imeediatly I lodged complaint through toll free number on the same day. In spite making so many calls to toll free number and Hyderabad office, the service engineer not visited and rectified since the battery is not charging as on[protected]PM. Best after sales service as promised before purchasing is false.

                            I had baught Sukam Inverter from Shreeji Sales Corparation, Mr. Dilip Gandhi, from Vadodara Gujarat. The inverter stopped working since last four days. despite my repeated reminders and requests, Mr. Dilip Gandhi, has not yet sent any technical person. He is answering very rudely. On telling him about complaining to Sukam Company, he even told , the company will not be able to take any action against him !!! Do whatever you want to.

                              I bought an inverter 2.5 KVA SUKAM for Rs 540000/- on 25/07/2009.I placed my order to Mr Ashok Kumar Sales Executive at Sukam, Gurgaon.It was delivered by Royal Engineering Systems at Lajpat Nagar.
                              The inverter had faulty relay.On complain they sent a man who, despite our protest, opened the inverter and repaired the brand new Inverter.We insisted to replace this with new one but they did not comply.Again the inverter developed fault and after innumerable phone calls and misbehaviour by Naresh kumar the guy at Royal engineering, it was replaced.But now this inverter was again faulty.It was not showing any display and the relay was faulty too.
                              After lodging complaint in consumer forum...on 17th again the inverter was replaced...this time the machine was an old model...and after just four days this machine has stopped working.
                              The plea that there may be a fault in the location doesnt hold true because at the same location we were using Sukam inverterof 900VA for last 2 years.we live in a house where there are three floors and everyone is using inverter successfully ...Still the Sukam people should send their engineer and get it checked...
                              from our part we feel that the people at royal Engineering are supplying repaired Inverters instead of the new ones.And if they are not able to supply correct inverter we want refund of our money...so that we can buy a new one from some othe company who can supply nondefective inverter.

                                Our inverter is in warranty. It has charging problem also on/off button is not working. when i reached to distributer he said that is nothing wrong with inverter or if you want then you have to bring at shop then i will check it. If this type of service sukam is providing then i will not suggest any to purchase sukam inverters.

                                Sukam-Inverter — inverter is not working properly

                                I have a sukam inverter which is not working properly since last week i have complained many times my complaint number is [protected] but they are not responding and also not providing a good service even the engineer is not visiting in our home to check the inverter.And also they tell a lie that "they send the engineer in our home and we were not at the home".But he didnot come in our home.
                                please take an immediate action to solve our query.

                                Agree with you. Even my switch is not working properly. and they do not resolve the issue.

                                SUKAM is wrost inverter to buy. Very Poor Service. I am using Mikrotek also in my office. My simple advice is to go with Mikrotek. Don't try saving Rs 500/-. Else you gonna repell for always.

                                On October 2, 2011; I bought a 850VA-135 Inverter and it couldn't even handle a current of 8 tubelights at direct line, and fuse blows up every next hour. The engineer comes to handle the complaint "Raj Kumar Singh" says that I have to pay for fuse holder. Thats Ok, but he completely denied to resolve the actual issue, which is that why fuse is getting blow up. He says load is too high, but couldn't get that how can load of total 500watt could be high for a 850VA inverter. At battery also the backup lasts only 1.5 hours that too while using only 4 tube lights.

                                The question here is that the load is in very much of limit & capacity of inverter but still fuse blows up. No way to get out of this problem and I need to uninstall the inverter from my line.

                                Simply SU-Kam seems chienese kind of inverter; which has NO LIFE and NO RELIBILITY. Big Pain for consumer.

                                  Dear Sir,
                                  I am having an 800 va Inverter, which was purchased from Gwalior(MP) on 14.07.07,
                                  The inverter is in Two year warranty,
                                  I had launched a complaint (No-129020) with Service Incharge Mr. Madan in Jaipur on phone no-[protected], on -that the inverter was not properly charging my battry since last two months, and hence my Invaqueen battry got damaged.
                                  He had assured me that the complaint is been assigned to service engineer Mr. Bhupendra Solanki(Mob-[protected]) and shall be entertained in 3 days,
                                  Now almost 1.5 months have gone past and even after doing rigorous follow-up with both of them, no body has addressed the issue.
                                  I have got fed up with the attitude of their service center representative/engineer.
                                  I need the resolution of my inverter problem and compensation for my battry which got damaged due to the problem in inverter.

                                    We bought a SUKAM invertor from Hubli (Karanatak state) based dealer in the month of August 2008. It stopped working sometime during May2009. Since then it is lying in Hubli (or somewhere else), there is was response for good 3 weeks from Sukam. Now, they say - the warrenty card was not sealed (we have provided a valid receipt ), they are not ready to honour warrenty (they took 3 weeks to comeback with vague response). We hope to seek help from a consumer court.

                                    Please note: Sukam products seem to be quite inferior and service is the worst. Hope, Hubli & dharwad & north karnataka residents would think twice before going for SUKAM products.

                                    SU-KAM — No service provided during warranty period

                                    Hello,

                                    I have bought Sukam battery (Model No.- HA 165C Serial No.- G 0206090) and invertor on 17/04/2007. The battery warranty is for 18 months. The battery stopped working on 25/08/2008. We tried calling all the complaint no. available to us but no one answered. Finally the dealer gave us a contact number and we lodged the complaint on 16/10/2008, one day before the warranty expired. Even though the complaint was lodged before the warranty expired they havent given us a replacement. Their technicians have accepted the fact that their batteries are of very poor quality and that many consumers in Mumbai are facing similar problems. I would want to bring to notice the rude and arrogant mannerism of Mr. Thomas, one of their Manager. I am considering moving to the consumer court regarding the same.

                                      We have Purchased Sukam Invertor for our Company, last year June month & that is under 2 years Warranty. We have purchased through a local dealer . After Installation within 15 days there was a major Technical Problem in Product but Comapny has given very poor service & the product repaired after 25 days after Complaint booking.

                                      This time again the Same technical problem is arised in Sukam Invertor & again after 7 days of Complaint we have not received Services.

                                      Dealer is not ready to give service bcoz it is under warranty of Company...& Local Service center(Pune) of Sukam is not providing us services.

                                        I have lodged a complaint with sukam toll free number on 27.04.2009 in regards to the batteries provided by Sukam. The complaint number is [protected] dated 27.04.2009.

                                        Till date i have not received any response. i have my dad who has undergone bypass surgery recently and as we stay in Navi Mumbai there is frequent powercut everyday for 2 hours. You can understand how much my dad is sufferring during non supply of electricity.

                                        Kindly look into the matter and revert back to me as soon as possible.

                                        COMPLAINT NO:[protected] DT 22.06.12:02 HRS ORIGINALLY REGISTERED ON 15.06.2011 AT 9.13 HRS
                                        The first complaint was given to one Mr Rawat at Lucknow office, during the process of installation on 04.06.2011 and today is 22.06.2011, therafter one Mr.Lalit Mohan called back to me on 11.06.2011, and today is 22.06.2011;
                                        it is nice to learn that it takes a Company of the stature of SU-KAM to attend a small complaint in more than 15 days, and that too without giving a solution to the customer. It is interesting to note the fact that Mr.Pradeep kumar Rai who attended the complaint today at the customer location, He was on line with me on my mobile. He found that the SOLAR CHARGE CONTROLLER 48V 30AMP (SCC) (new unit sl.no.[protected] supplied by the company) was faulty, he has taken the Solar charge controller with him saying that it shall be replaced within 7 - 10 days. The company very coolly sends me a SMS that the complaint has been resolved, can anyone give me an explanation as how caan the complaint be resolved when the SCC has been taken away by your engineer.
                                        This definitely speaks volumes about an ISO company about its attitude towards the Customers complaints as serious as a SOLAR POWER SYSTEM.

                                          This is to bring to notice that i bought a Sukam Inverter 450 VA on 11th April 2008 with two 45 AH batteries. Everything was well till February 2009. I gave a complaint vide no 03/158 on 04 March 2009. The service engineer came to inspect on 09th March 2009. He said that the battery is damaged and he suspected that the battery was damaged from the time of purchase as normally batteries dont get damaged so early. He completed the formalities for battery replacement and said that the same will be replaced within 7 days i.e. 16th March 2009. But till date the battery has not been replaced. Teh concerned people in the company either does not receive the phone call or gives petty excuses every time i make any enquiry.. Now i even doubt whether the battery will be replaced or not.

                                          Please advise how to solve this problem

                                          Sukam Inverter — replacement of battery

                                          i had lodged a complaint on 16/09/08 regarding my inverter battery (which is dead ) . Engineer visited on 18/09/08 and said it w ill be replaced by 24/09/08 but it is not replaced even till date(29/09/08) and service center peoples are saying that it will take 2-3 days time more for replacement of battery . response from call center as well as service center is worst . they dont know even how to talk with costumer. I never suggest any one to purchase sukam product because of its worst after sale service and costumer care .

                                          I am an engineer living in kaduna state of Nigeria. I bought 1 set of 7.5kva and 3 set of 3.5kva over a year now. Just last three month I had problem with two of the 3.5kva. I tried putting it right but no success my request here is that you help me with the complete circuit diagram of the 3.5kva so that I can use it as a guide. The 7.5kva is still performing wonderfully. Thank you.
