I have a TATA credit card which I received 4 weeks back. Today I received a SMS that I had to pay Rs 560.68 as a bill towards card joining fee. But when I was registering I asked couple of times whether their is annual fee or not for Tata employees . The agent at croma store told me that there no joining fee for tata employee. Still they have charged me the same. My card number is [protected] . I have wrote to them i would like to surrender the card. Very poor experience. Please be beware.

The complaint has been resolved. Some one from TATA capital called me and told me that Annual Fess has been reversed. Also today morning i got a message from Tata capital regarding the same.

    Ref: My credit card no.[protected] In the last statement for the month of January, an amount of Rs.649/- was spent on Croma Store. This was billed to me in the next month which was due for payment on 4th March. Payment of this was made by me long before due date and the cheque for Rs.646.30 was put in the drop box of Tatacard at Standard Chartered Bank at Flora Fountain on 28th February in the morning. Due date of the bill was 4th March i.e. enough days before due date. It is not my responsibility to open the drop box and depositing the cheque as it is yours responsibility. I am not responsible for your inefficiency of not depositing the cheque in time. For such small amount, there is no need to delay the payment. I have been told that because the payment was received and cleared on 12th March because of Tatacard inefficiency, I have been debited the late fee payment plus interest, etc. and now I am supposed to pay Rs.909.50. I have already paid Rs.646/- whatever due against Croma Bill. Rs.263.50 which you have wrongly debited me is not payable by me. This arise out of your inefficiency to collect cheques from the drop box and deposit the same in time. If you are not able to reverse this charge, then please consider the Credit Card issued to me is cancelled. I await to hear from you in this regard. Under no circumstances, I am ready to pay your late payment fees and interest for your inefficiency. Regards Ashok Vissanji

        I am holding a tata card (supported by sbi card) . I had taken a loan for Rs. 60000/- and foreclosed the loan on Jan 17th 2013. The payment due date is 1st Feb 2013. Since the statement was already generated they are refusing to tone down the minimum payment as the instalment payable was already included in the preclosure amount of Rs.59000/- repaid by me on 17th jan 2013. I am put to a lot of hardship as I have to pay another bank for the loan taken from them to pay off this loan. This is putting a lot of pressure on me. If this is the way service industries are going to work why are they in the service industry in the first place. My card number is [protected].             When I did some purchase in Croma Shop in the first week of May2011, they offered me a Tata Credit Card (SBIcard) saying that it is completely free. I got the Credit Card No.[protected] on[protected]. I started using the card from[protected].
            From my first bill onwards I started getting fake entries like annual fees late payment fees, finance charges etc, in-spite of having ECS mandate with them.
            Fed up of receiving inflated bills I requested them to cancell my card and it was cacelled on[protected]. During this period[protected] to[protected] total 50 days), I made purchases worth total of Rs.11592.68.
            Till today[protected] I have paid them Rs.25949.41 in total online and ECS. Still they continue to debit my bank a/c through ECS, in-spite of me asking them to cancell my ECS manate. As Credit Balance Refund, they sent me a cheque for Rs.7659.99 on[protected] and I received it on[protected], but on presentation it was dishonured.. My pesent psition is that of somebody who stepped in right in the middle of a desert (neither can wash nor walk).
            When all my complaint to Tata card authorities fell on deaf ears, out of frustration I complained to the Banking Obudsman in Mumbai (Complaint No. [protected]) in simple English. The Babus in Reserve Bank rejected the comlaint since it was not properly represented. They want the complait to be presened online in less than 250 words giving details of the Bank, Branch , address of the zonal office etc etc.
            When the Premier Business House along with the Biggest bank in India Loot people in the name of Credit Card and the regulatng authorities turn their face away what is the option before the common man of india?

                during my last visit to a croma store in mumbai- palladium mall...i was approached to fill the form for a tata card...all my details were taken - after that i have answered three calls of verification and one personal visit at home for the same - and then too i recieved an sms stating the card is declined to me because they could not establish contact with me after many attempts.
                at a time wherein calls from unknown numbers can be so irritating/disturbing, even if i did miss a couple of calls - how can they decide on me being not contactable when i have answered their verification calls earlier.
                what happens to the details that they have of mine- including that of my other credit card. this is ridiculous.

                  1. Fake commitments : -
                  • While enrolling this card TATA executive said, there is no charges/fees it is free of cost for life time and they charged 380rs. in first month of credit card bill for annual fees.

                  2. Fake Promotions : -
                  • Executive said, If I enrolled so, I will be getting vouchers contains 990rs. Of value.
                  Did not get the vouchers.

                  3. Delay Response : -
                  • I call customer care, they simple wash their hands, regarding these issues, they said nothing can be done on this matter.

                  • If you log any complaint, they will respond you but after 15-20 days without any solution.

                  I think, this was enough for me, to take one decision.
                  I withdraw their services, I cancelled my TATA Credit Card.

                  These credit card deprtment is spoiling the image of TATA.

                  I will not refer anyone to go with TATA Credit Card.

                      On 14th December 2010 I received an another SMS on my Cell stating “Your Statement Dt. 12th Dec 2010 has been dispatched. Total Amount due of Rs. 386.05 or Min Amt. of Rs 336.05 is payable by 1st JAN 2010 –TATA Card”.

                      But i have no card issued by the TATA.

                      On the same I retried calling TATA card customer care number provided in the SMS but again all in vain as I am not having Credit card Number neither any request number.

                      mail id & cant get through phone asst.too,cousing delay in payments pls.do the needful
                      Tata card is just a fraud business running by SBI. I am getting tata card due amount statement like anything. Customer care is the worst thing that a company like tata is having. Tata is just making fool of the people.

                      They generate statement according to their own mind. Doesn't matter whether the amount has been deposited or not.

                      I also asked customer care to send me the detail of my all transaction but the reply i got after so many days is that just go to online enter your card detail & you will get your statement.

                      Very pathetic division of TATA.

                          I receiveed my tata card number [protected] in February .Since then I have tried to login as a new user but I get message that informaion provided by you is not correct.When I contacted helpline number i was told date of birth is not correct and within two days it will be rectified.But still I am unable to login.My date of birth is 08.09.1959 and I had given My driving license for this purpose.

                            Hello All,
                            Today I got a call from PUNE ([protected]). Someone from GE-SBI card called me for settlement. Reason is there was a pending amount of Rs-395.00 (approx) in the TATA Credit card statement few years back. I never use that card. But for annual charge it was sent to me. That time I denied to pay the amount as the TATA-SBI card representative told that as I am the TATA employee, the card will be life time valid without any additional charges. So I post a mail to the TATA credit card team requesting to close the account and cancel the card. After that no monthly statement received from my side. Suddenly after almost 2.5 years they are telling that I have an outstanding of Rs-6400.00(approx). They are ready to settle the amount by Rs-1265 also. But they are not ready to give me final fresh bill to close the issue. I can settle with the amount. But I heard that, if I go for settlement, my name will be marked badly (rather black listed) in the CIVIL report and in future I won't get any loan benefits from any bank. They are not ready to provide NOC as well.
                            So in this case if I settle with the amount, can I avail PL/HL/CL from your bank in future if required?

                                Hi, I lost my TATA card on July 02, 09 and I logged a compliant against the lost card. I have requested the customer care executive to block the card. The executive confirmed me that the card got blocked.
                                Now I have received a due statement from TATA card for august month which is showing transactions in august month. I am wondering how come a transactions processed from a blocked credit card. I have sent a compliant mail on this to tata card email id customer.[protected]@tatacard.com but till date no response from them.

                                  I am a TCS employee.
                                  I have applied for tatacard almost a month before.
                                  I got verification call also.
                                  Now today when i inquired about the status of the card, they said that your form has been rejected and you can now apply after 6 months. They said that reason of rejection of form can not be disclosed to me.

                                  I think consumer has each and every right to know why any service is denied to him. If emplyees earning the same salary as much as me are eligible for this service then why should not i.

                                    Hi,
                                    I am Mayank Shekhar, I was using Tata Card till oct 08. There I have collected around 5500 reward points. The card they have given me did not have the facility to redeem. After I contacted in the month of January 0 they assured me that my new card is on way and I wll recieve it soon. Bou evenf after my card get expired I have not recieved any thing. Seven months have passed even form the time the card get expired. So neither they are giving me cards and nor they are responding back. I have even contacted higher ups of Tata Cards But they are not able to give any responce.
                                    It is basically cheating where they are not willing to pay for the points I have earned. Now I want to put a case on them. Please guide me on putting in cousumer court. So that I can charge them for their unprofessional behaviour and cheating of the money from consumer. I have all the document and correspondenc in this regards.

                                      Sir,

                                      After my experience I would like to put forward the following complaints against the TATA CREDIT CARD for their wrong settlement order policy, which is as follows.

                                      “Further please note that out of your total payment, 1st Minimum Amount Due is settled, followed by Taxes, EMI on loan plans, Balance Transfer Outstanding, Fees & Other Charges, Interest Charges, Purchase Outstanding and Cash Advance in that order.”

                                      Here cash advance is after Purchase outstanding.
                                      This I would like to clear through an example:

                                      My billing cycle is 12th of every month. 20 days more time to pay the purchase outstandings.

                                      Suppose I have taken a cash advance for Rs. 10000/- and did purchasing for Rs. 15000/- in the current billing cycle. I would like to re-pay my cash advance early in minimum time because there is daily interest on cash advance. So I paid the Rs. 10000/-, but this is being settled against purchase outstandings and continues to take interest for cash advance, whereas I have still time to pay my purchase out standings as per card policy. Thus a card holder is forced to not to do early payment of cash advance and pay interest thereon.

                                        My TATA-SBI Credit card application no. is[protected] & still i didnt get my card.I'd received this application no. on 3rd of jan but didnt get the card till date.

                                        So kindly look into the matter and deliver me the card as soon as possible.

                                          Dear Sir,

                                          I am Tata Credit card holder.My card no is [protected].
                                          I had paid full payment dated 7th march 2008 and receieved reversal letter of Rs 2022.48/-.Butthen also i am getting statement everymonth since then and charges have increased to Rs5500/-.

                                          I request you please look into this matter and take back charges.

                                            I applied for the Tata Card but till date i have not received the card but i got the bill for the same . As per TATA records My Card Number is [protected] & I have launched a complaint to customer care two Months back, still i am waiting to hear some thing from you . The worst part is that Customer care Number[protected] is not working from Last 1month

                                            I wrote Emails in past also but always i got their standard copy paste reply that is nicely designed for the customers like me .

                                            I am getting collection calls daily, I contact to Eastern Regional head for the same 10 days back but he is also speech less .
                                            I applied for the Tata Card but till date i have not received the card but i got your some papers like bonus sceem . I have launched a complaint to customer care two Months back, still i am waiting for creditcard.

                                              I have taken Tata Credit Card. The customer care from Chennai forced me to avail 'DD' of Rs 66,000/- one month interest free. After one month, when I did not get First Statement, I tried to contact them over phone, mails for the same to facilitate me to pay the money without paying the interest. But only after 6 months I got the statement with finance charges & interest. I requested thru mails to reverse the extra charges levied. Also asked them to provide me the dropbox locations to drop the payments in Bangalore. I checked with SBI banks as to whether I can drop in their drop boxes for which they said No. Since then the customer care dept making calls & talking rudely. While I recd a mail that Tatacard will not send anybody to collect the payment, their collection agent calling that he would come to collect the payment. When I tried to send the chq by registered post to their Delhi office, postal officials said they can not take it for registered post as the address is to PO Bag. While I am ready to pay the DD amount, am afraid to send by ordinary post or handover to collection agenct as I am not sure whether it will reach the correct place.
                                              Request for resolution & close this credit card once for all.

                                              SBI Credit Cards — Rude customer service and improper billing

                                              hi

                                              I am Pravin Nair i have taken a credit card from SBI they charged me a insurance on it and asked me to pay rs 45 every month without my permission then there was a bill for July 2008 which i paid in check the cheque which got invalidated for some reason i don't know. They charged me a extra 300 for that while in their broacher it is mentioned that this amount is charged only when a cheque bounces when i had a talk with a excecutive he was so rude and misleading tell me that this is a charge levied by bank on any cheque that is invalidated. My question is how can thaey say that chenque is invalidated due to me writing on the i mostly put the cheque in the drop box any one could have by mistake written something on it why should i pay for that. There was no call or message from the bank stating that the cheque was invalidated where as i had written my name and mobile number behind the card. When asked about this to the customer service he refused by saying your mobile is not register where as it's a blunt lie as i receive all the messages from the bank even regarding by credit card statements.

                                              I would request all to please refrain from taking SBI cards as its a corporate fraudulent card as far as my experience is concerned.

                                              i am not getting my acttual billing payment amount.though i complaint 3 times.they are not give me right amount, also charging panelty & intrest.i want to clear my account.

                                              4.FIN Charge on retail Rs.256.41

                                              Using for last 8 to 10 years .
                                              2.It was told to me it is LIFE TIME FREE - Last two years it happened same, I was charged annual fee and then after talking to customer care services it was reversed. Why you all are doing this .Infact you are losing trust .Please try to cancel same from the system so that it should not happenned coming here, It is unnecessary waste of time and irritating.
                                              3. As per my reguler practice, this time also I deposited my cheque on 24th October 08 evening in the drop box.But after seing the statement it was observed that there is late fee charge .
                                              4.I do my payment regulerly on time .Can you please reverse this amount and give me justice or I have to decide myself.
                                              I hope you will consider my request sincerely and give justice to me .

                                              SBI Card — improper statement

                                              last month the due payment was paid by cash! then the officer had told us to pay it by cheque. then agaun we had paid the amount by cheque too. now both the cash and the cheque for the due had been recieved by the sbi bank. but they failed to enter it in thier record and again this month they had fined us mentioning about the same dure which we had already paid. and for this if we call the customer care response is not there and also the service is always withdrawn. the sbi bank now had recieved rs7040 from us and still they are sending the next statement with the same due. and so we kindly ask the authorities to take necessary action for the above complaint as soon as possible failing which this complaitn will be taken to ombudsman scheme(reserve bank). and so kindly take immediate action and respond to this complain as soon as possible.
                                              My name is Aditya. I got my bill on july telling that i did transaction of 9000 INR and it was a fraudy transaction.I have complained to block m card and asked them ta take action.Till now i have no clarity on this aspect.Now they are asking us to pay 12000 as a result of penalty.I want to complain to the consumer court, If i am not getting any response...

                                                I am not able to call to the customer care as I do not have a landline connection of BSNL or MTNL. You should have other options too. I want to my change my billing address immediately. I have shifted my residence. Also, I want my bill to be on my mail account too. I want to have a internet banking facility and electronic transfer code is necessary. Please confirm and revert back immediately on my email ID mentioned above.

                                                I am also facing the same Issue. There is no access to tatacard customer care. I have sent so many mails to customer.[protected]@tatacard.com, but no replies for the past 3 months.

                                                Their online service is also pathetic. You cannot make successful payments via tatacard site. I am trying to reach tata customer service for the past 3 months. But no way.. Please let me know if anybody knows some way to contact tatacard customer service.
                                                by mistake tata have done 11 Rs deduct my account M no. [protected] what is the reason please Confirm.

                                                TATA Card — Applied for Empower Card received Credit Card

                                                Dear Sir,

                                                I have applied for TATA Empower card as it is free, and there is no annual fee for this card. Howerver instead of giving TATA Empower card company has given me the credit card and the annual fee for this credit card is Rs.500 p.a.
                                                Please advice.

                                                TATA Card — no intimation or update after submission of request.

                                                I have applied for the tata card in May. However I haven't received any further update for the same. its have been a long time.
                                                When i was issued TATA SBI card i was told that the joining fees RS 380/ONLY will be waived off when i will be using this card for RS 3000.But till date this joining fees is not waived off.I want to remind you that if this fees is not waived in the next bill i will stop using this card for ever. Waiting for an early reply.

                                                Tata card is pathatic, I an holding hdfc card and they offered me a new tata card, I subbmiteed all the documents and atlast I come to know my applcation got rejected.
