Booking ID: GOFLIMTD64351649083553 | Flights from DEL-KBV not operational. Was denied boarding on 8th April'22
Address: THAI AIRWAYS INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC COMPANY LIMITED GROUND FLOOR,CADDIES COMMERCIAL TOWER, NOVOTEL-PULLMAN HOTEL COMPLEX, ASSET NO 2, HOSPITALITY DISTRI
Website: www.goibibo.com/mysupport/Flight/?bookingId=GOFLIMTD64351649083553
I would like to start my note expressing my disappointment that we had to face yesterday 8th April'22 when we were denied boarding the flight TG-316 because the Flight from BKK--KBV was not operational.
I had paid in full non-refundable tickets of INR 1, 52, 374 on 4th April to a flight itenary that Goibibo.com is showing. Please find the link below that shows our reservation. Also, attaching the e-tickets issued by 'Thai Airways' for Myself, my husband and my 2 children (4 years old). The seats Have been confirmed on all the 4 flights!!
https://www.goibibo.com/mysupport/Flight/?bookingId=GOFLIMTD[protected]
The Ticket clearly states TG 2253 from BKK-- KBV on 9th April, 12:05 hrs and return TG2254 KBV--BKK on 17th April 14:05 Hrs
Needless to say that we were heart broken more so my two 4 year old children when we were escorted outside of the Airport for no fault of ours!!
When we tried contacting GoIbibo, we were told that the ticket is non-refundable so we cant get our money back and we need to contact Thai Airways. Thai Airways says speak to GoIbibo. They are passing the buck amongst each other and we are at loss. I will like to raise a complaint as for a regular service class people like us who were planning/saving for this trip, took holidays from office, paid for cab for to-fro from Airport, Made reservation in Hotels in Krabi basis our ticket reservation- 'We lost money everywhere just because our flights got confirmed which apparently is non-operational'.
Simply put, we were sold an item on their website that does not exist and was issued e-ticket. Basis our flight purchase, we made reservation Hotel in Krabi which is non refundable as well. So, we lost all the money on Flights+Hotel which we could not avail.
I would request Thai Airways to kindly look into the matter and refund our flights booking in FULL and possible compensation for hotel booking in Krabi.

unethical behaviour, allergic food given to a child for both breakfast and dinner after special mention of the nut allergy
Address: 500003
Website: www.thaiairways.com
We have placed request for nuts free hindu vegetarian food for my son who is 3yrs old, he has nuts allergy, we confirmed by calling thai airways before taking the flight and we were assured saying that the meal without nuts has been confirmed. However to our surprise both breakfast and dinner meal had nuts in it. I do have photo proof as well. Please see attached photo proofs.
Its disgusting to see that even after continuous follow ups, and confirmation this has been the attitude of the flight staff. And now they call us lucky because the child did not consume it as the mother had tasted and realised that the food had nuts, we had not carried enough food which would fill his stomach as we were not hoping for anything like this to happen with us, both the meals were served with cashews and nuts. When the breakfast was served, we complaint, imagine the level of negligence, the dinner served was again with nuts.
I would want people to spread the news, as the airways do not care about the people, they believe an apology could make everything right.

missing money
My daughter travelled from bangalore, (India) to shangai on 25/04/19. On reaching shangai it was found that she had lost all the money she had kept in the registered luggage 400 huan and 200 us dollars. It is really unfortunate that such intentional thefts are happening in your airlines. The pouch is in tact and the currency is removed in a very professional way from the suitcase. I request your goodself to look into this matter and help in retrieving the amount

cancelled flight
I booked my tickets in advance in july for travel to melbourne to india and then back from india to melbourne in december. The flight from melbourne to india was smooth but my experience back from india to melbourne was the worst. First of all they were not able to link my visa to my passport and they had to call australian immigration to send them a code to link them. I was made to stand there for an hour or so. I have never had this issue before, as i travel frequently from australia to india. I already had tickets with me, but i was made to stand there as if i had done something wrong. I do not understand that why are the visa and passport requirements not checked at the time of booking the flight. I was told that it will never happen for your first travel but will happen once you are going back to australia after you have lived there for a while, which is all nonsense.
The worst case scenario would have been, not letting me get on the flight because they are not able to link the passport to visa while i already have my tickets with me. I paid a lot of money for it and if that is the case they should inform a customer before hand, before they book a flight.
It just did not end there, on the spot i was told that my flight from thailand tg461 that was scheduled to depart on 31/11/2018 at 8:10 was cancelled and i was automatically booked into tg465 departing at 24:05. What is the point of booking tickets in advanced if you are not even notified about your cancelled flight and that you have been put onto a new flight. This is highly acceptable. Upon me asking the employee why was i not given any notification about it and why are there visa and passport issues, he told me even he is not sure about it and they told me to check with the student immigration services, because of this i was supposed to reach melbourne on the 30th november at 21:20 through tg461 but instead i reached on the 1st dec through tg465 at 13:05.
I was told at the kolkata airport that accomodation and food will be provided to me but on reaching at thai airport i was blatantly told that i needed to have the coupons from the kolkata airport. I had to fight for an hour for the inconvenience that was caused.
I had to join in for my work on the next day, but because of this i was in no position to inform my company before hand, that i had recently joined and because of that i have lost my job.

Refund for the trip id - 1608072024
Hi,
I made a flight booking through ClearTrip.com for Delhi to Bangkok(round trip); Trip ID [protected]. My flight TG316, dated 02 Sept 2016 and TG323, dated 12 Sept 2016, i cancelled the tickets prior 24hrs due to medical issue.I submitted all the documents and my flight was refundable and they are that ur refund is for NIL. I contacted the customer support they said they will look into the matter but now it has been more than 2 month. I called customer support several times but there is no satisfactory response but keep on giving me further time-line. I also contacted the floor supervisor but was of no help. Customer support executives even disconnected my call more than 10 times after asking me to hang up.
In regard to my case, I have the following demands:
(I) Refund of Rs 23984/- with interest.
(II) Compensation for the mental harassment and agony that I have gone through and call charges accrued during my illness.

I was travelling from ho chi minh city to delhi via bangkok via flight no, tg 557 of thai airway on 7th june (Seat no. 46 a). Due to some technical error flight was delayed by 45 min. So some how passengers were transferred at bangkok to connecting flight tg 331 for delhi. But checked in baggages could not be transferred to the connecting flight tg -331. When i reached delhi on 8th morning i came to know this. Well at the airport i filled a form to claim my baggages and they informed me that baggages will be delivered to my residence at banswara. So on 8th morning i by indigo flight i reached udaipur and from udaipur i reached my home at banswara. On 10th june thai airways person handed our my baggages at banswara bus stand. Since my suitcase was locked so i brought it home but when i opened it my new purchased apple i-phone 6 s was missing. There were long exchanges of mail with thai airways in this matter but finally they refused to compensate the loss. Please helpme in this matter

Flight Delhi to Bangkok -TG324 on 7th January 2016
Flight Bangkok to Hanoi - TG 560 on 8th January 2016
I flew from DELHI to HANOI on the 7th january . I was advised at the IGI T3 delhi that i have to check in luggage again at BKK as my next flight was not the same day i.e 7th Jan . when i landed at BKK, I went to THAI AIRWAYS counter and asked them to transfer my luggage to next flight TG 560 . They said my luggage has been transferred and issued me boarding pass for TG 560 . But when i reached Hanoi i found my luggage was not there on the belt . I lodged the complaint and got a PIR REPORT which clearly mentions " YOUR LUGGAGE WILL BE DELIVERED TO YOUR ADDRESS WITHOUT ANY CHARGES AS PER LOCAL CUSTOM REGULATIONS ' . But the airline has not yet sent the baggage to my address which is '6A DOAN KET, HAI DUONG, VIETNAM " . When i called they asked it was my fault that i left my luggage at BKK so they cant deliver to to my place and i have to collect it from airport which is 4-5 hours from my current address . The Thai Airways Hanoi office said I must call Thai airways Delhi and tell them my problem. what a stupid comment was that ? Is that what is Thai airways is about ? keep knocking different doors for help ? I have the letter saying LUGGAGE will be delivered to my place but still the STUPID RIDICULOUS Thai airways staff is not listening and talking so rude !! whats my fault ?? is it just i choosed thai airways to fly with ??
i want it sorted out, and maybe i will not suggest this airline ever to anyone . iF YOU GUYS ARE READING THIS, GET THE LUGGAGE TO MY HOUSE, NOWWWWWW !!!
I have no clothes, my documents and other important things with me . I am stranded now .
teach your staff some manners and also teach them little english so that they can understand what that letter says and they should follow rules and dont make the passengers suffer .

LOST BAGGAGE
Address: New Delhi, Delhi
Sub: - LOST OF BAGGAGE (BAGGAGE IDENTIFICATION TAG TG609846)
This is in reference to lost of my baggage by Thai Airways during my travel from Delhi to Melbourne on 27th June 2010 by flight TG 316 (Delhi –BKK) and Flight TG461 (BKK to Melbourne).
On Arrival in Melbourne we found that my luggage was not there for collection we reported the same to Menzies Baggage Services at the Melbourne Airport and they registered our complaint and for which we got the reference number as MELTG14584. They told us that they will get back to us within 24-48 hours but we did not receive any response from them.
When we did not hear back from them we did telephonic follow thrice but did not get any satisfactory response. Every time we call them up we get the same answer that they haven’t heard back anything from the Delhi-BKK sector.
This is very pathetic as I am here for my business meetings and I have one year old son with me and I had all my and my babies cloths in the luggage with my valuables.
I had to buy all stuff in here which has costed me a heavy amount along with lot of inconvenience and frustration.

I traveled the same sector last Saturday (24th March 2012) and they lost my only bag and its the ditto same situation for me. No response, and whenever Menzies calls back they have a reason of not being able to track the bag on Del-BKK sector. I am yet to hear from them, today's the 3rd day since I arrived. Very pathetic and frustrating. Did you finally get your bag back or any compensation from Thai ?

Strange behavior by airlines staff
In a flight from BKK to NRT by TG 676 I ended up with a window seat despite request at check in for aisle seat. The fellow at the check in counter also seemed to ignore my request to put a fragile sticker to my check in baggage which I also did not realize till the baggage was delivered at NRT. He also did not credit the mileage to my frequent flyer card – that’s the Thai way of dealing with foreigners I suppose. Anyway during the flight I was surprised to see that I was not offered a drink since I was too far away from the aisle, finally I had to ask for it. Meals were served to other passengers and then the airhostess told me they are out of all other options except omelets rice. I did not quite understand what was wrong with the attitude of these people. Other than a bit of tan (spent a few days at Phuket) I did not have anything special with my appearance or apparel. Is this the way Thai people and airlines work? I would not know since this is the first and possibly last time I’d fly by Thai.

Thai airways front desk least bit friendly
Hi,
I wish to bring to your kind notice an embarrassing experience I have had yesterday, 15th September 2009, at theThai airways office in Bangalore.
1. I had to wait for about 10 minutes as there was no one at the reception desk and I did not know whom to call for. There were people walking around in the lobby but no one cared to ask me if I needed any help. But that was not the real issue. Read on.
2. Inside this glass cabin there was a lady[Shrilatha] attending to someone, after that "someone" left, I walked in.
Below is the conversation that went through between us.
Upon entering before I even got a chance to take a seat [note that I was not offered a seat] I was asked, "you want to book Thai airways?" with a surprised tone. her face, expression and body language all indicated that she did not believe even for a second that I could even think of travelling.
I said "Yes. do you handle anything else too here in this office?" ignoring her expression attitude etc.
She says "we do a lot of administrative work too around here."
I say " Oh I am only interested in doing a booking for Bangalore-Bangkok round trip."
She says "do you have the travel documents with you, passport?" again she has this surprised look. It was as if she could not believe I even had a passport, let alone walking in to book tickets…
I said "yes, passport copies, if that is OK!"
She asks" how will you pay?" again, her body language, facial expression indicated that she did not really think I was prepared to pay and she believed this was a total waste of time and she did not believe I can even afford a trip.
I say "credit card..why, you do accept it right?"
She says "yes" and does some typing.
I tell her my dates and passenger details. she calculates the fare cost and gives me the same written in a slip.
I ask her "why is the infant rate 6K, I was told by the official over phone that it is 10% of the adult rates and the adult rates are 14K per person!"
She says " 10% of IATA rates", literally snapped at me, it looked like she almost cursed me for my heights of ignorance!
I say "what is IATA rate?" again ignoring her attitude.
she says "rates specified by IATA", again mocking at me, with that cynical smile.
I say "I understand IATA rate is rates specified by IATA what is the price?"
she says "57,000"
I said "OK. so any VISA rules, vaccines for children, papers, pre-requisites etc.. because I do not want to land there and get into issues"
she says "nothing" with a dismissive attitude.
I ask "is a travel insurance must for travelling to Bangkok"
she says "all that you must ask your agent I will not be able to help you." first with a hint of irritation and then a mocking smile, her body language indicating she is thinking, "god knows where these people come from, cannot even afford a ticket and they want to ask for all sort of details". This was it, her mocking was going on all the while, right from my first question and I was trying to ignore it from the very beginning and I could no longer tolerate it.
I told her "enough of mocking, if you cannot help fine, just say so and I will get my details from elsewhere. I was not interested in coming all the way to your office, waste my time and yours. But when I asked your official for some details over phone, I was told to walk in to get more details, thus I came in.
she say "I never mocked at anybody"
I said "yes, you can tell me that, but it shows.."
And I get up and go out.
Then I went back to ask her good name and was told "shrilatha". I am pretty sure quite a few customers would have walked out due to this lady's arrogance. A front desk lady who is incharge of booking tickets should not have this kind of attitude and head weight. She should not even be gauging the customers for their worth or making her assumptions and conclusions.
She is paid to help us get the flight details and travel information, and just that.
Having such an ill mannered front desk not only spoils the reputation of the airlines but will also make the potential customers go for other airlines.
Meanwhile I got the friendly travel consultants at makemytrip.com[tollfree] to book my tickets in the Thai airways flight. Bangalore to Bangkok and back.
We are 4 adults and 1 child and 1 infant travelling on 24th Septeber 2009 and returning on the 1st october 2009.
I was deeply disappointed by this lady's attititude and treatment meted out to me.
maybe she should be given some training on Public relations and other soft skills. It is said that the front desk people are like the face of the company, their hospitality and appearance reflects the company.
Much said I leave it to the concerned to do the needful.

Lack of assistance and communication
We booked and travelled on Thai Airways to Phuket, (direct) but landed up in Bangkok instead as the riots against the Prime Minister caused Phuket Airport and other tourist airports to be closed. My complaint is that Thai Airways KNEW that Phuket was closed before they left the ground of Perth Airport. I heard from Flight Centre that they "hoped" it would be open by the time we arrived but it was not so they just dumped us in Bangkok to fend for ourselves and the ground staff did not know what to tell us. We finally booked ourselves into the Bangkok Airport hotel to await the opening of the airport (if at all). It took two days to get to Phuket and with much expense. Our letter of complaint has bene faxed to Thai and they virtually dont want to know. I think it is very poor, and other passengers reiiterate my complaint. We want reimbursement for our expenses at least.

We traveled by TG 318 from Mumbai to Jakarta by Thai Airways( 11th Jan 2013). While we were at Security Check, the Thai Air Ground Staff at MUMBAI asked us to hurry since the Immigration clearance took longer time than usual. We were asked to keep luggage at security check and were been told by Thai Staff that they will take care of the luggage and they will help us to carry the luggage, they asked us to go for personal screening. Once we were out of personal screening they asked us to run toward the gate to board the plane while they told us that they will carry our Luggage. Finally we managed to board the plane but to our Surprise One of my wife's Hand Bag - Brown Color CHANNEL Purse was missing. We informed the Flight Crew Staff and they told us that the door is been closed and she will ask Captain if he could help us, they provided us contact number of Mumbai ground staff. Next day from Jakarta when we called the THAI Mumbai Office we were told that the Hand Bag was with the Lost and Found Department of Mumbai Airport and we have to Pay the Charges and come personally to collect the HAndBag. We were surprise that why we have to pay and why we have to come to collect it, as it was the ground staff's who misplaced my Handbag. We tried to call Thai Ground Service Mumbai Office and we had a heated argument with MR NAVIN and arrogantly were told that no one from Thai Airways are responsible for carrying the luggage. Finally I manage to speak with a Lady at the Thai Mumbai Office( on Phone Numbers[protected] and she told us we can collect the Handbag before 12 am today Night(11th Jan 2013) and told me to send an Authority Letter. Accordingly I emailed the Authority letter at (bomaptg
@vsnl.net) and told me OLD Parents to go and collect the HandBag at the Airport.
My parents took a cab in the night and reached Airport at around 10.30 pm and contacted the number[protected] given by the THAI Staff. Now the lady on the phone told my parents to meet them at a certain point and later said to my parents that this is your son's mistake and they cannot collect the luggage now and ask them to go back home and come tommorrow. when my parents tried to complaint regarding it they couldnt get any THAI staff on the Phone. Finally one guy from the Lost and Found dept advised my parents to come back tomorrow since the L&F dept was not informed by THAI Staff about the Handbag collection.
Such misbehavior by Mumbai Ground staff Thai services is disgusting. Being in services department don't even know how to talk to senior citizen.
Next day I get email from Thai Public relation dept that I have to Submit my Passport Copy and Flight Departure Card to get my Handbag.
How can the Staff at MUMBAI THAI Ground Office be so misleading. Firstly they Informed me to collect the Handbag from the Lost and Found Dept just by sending a authority letter, and next day they are asking for PP and boarding Card. Just bcos of wrong Information my OLD Parents had to travell to Airport for no reason.
I am Very Disappointed with the MUMBAI THAI GROUND STAFF services. Hope this email helps in creating awareness among Passengers who are travelling by THAI AIRWAYS.

Unethical Conduct
I would begin narrating my experience from the time when I checked in for the Bangkok to Mumbai on 29th Apr 2008 at 18:45 (TG 317).
I arrived at the airport 2 1/2 hour before departure I was informed that the flight was delayed till 00:15 (5 1/2 Hours Delay). I requested the ground staff to put me on the Indian airlines flight departing an hour later as I only had hand baggage and the airline did have room for passengers on it, this they were not able to do saying there wasn’t enough time.
Hence, I checked in for the Thai Flight and asked them for what their policy for delayed flight is. To which they informed me, that they would give me 300 bath ($10) meal voucher. This I thought was being very unreasonable for such a long period of delay and I found out that as per Thai Law they were supposed to give compensation of 1200 baht for more than three hour delay on domestic flights and understood that for international it would at least be the same or more. When informed if Mrs. Titirat B the check in supervisor about this she said that their policy is to give a hotel room only if there is a 6+ hour delay and that she never hear about this law. Now I started to put two and two together, and realized that they only announced a delay of 5 ½ hours to avoid giving out the room and I was pretty sure that the flight would leave much later.
After wasting my time at the airport for several hours, I showed up at the gate on time for boarding at 23:35. But as I had suspected they didn’t start boarding yet, 00:15 not movement whatsoever, 00:30 nothing, finally they did start boarding at 01:00 and departed at 01:30 clearly after the 6 hour norm as per their policy.
This to me is clearly unethical behavior on part of the airline. It is most definitely their responsibility to take care of their passenger especially in situations like this. Not only they misinformed me and other passengers on the flight they also most probably broke the law.
I am thoroughly disappointed with the airline and would rather not fly with them anymore. There are several other airlines who do value their customers. I just hope that my message gets across to someone in the airline and helps them realize their mistakes.

Thai Airways is getting from bad to worse. I had to call up atleast 20 times simply to get to the Frequent flyer section. Even when i got through, the information was not provided and the lady was very curt... Pathetic service in todays competitive world.

I would like to lodge an enquiry concerning my missing Luggage, which upon my arrival to home Country ( Fiji) on 18 December 2009 until to date I still have not received any information on its where about. Accordingly, I have made several contacts with travel Custom/ luggage Officials in my home Country to trace back the details with Australia since that was my last leg of the trip. Information received from them was luggage cannot be traced and suggested to enquire with Bangkok airport luggage officials, there could be a possibility that it was not send to Australia.
In view of the above and the fact that I have limited time to spend here in Fiji and depart back to Pakistan on 4th January 2010 via the same route. I humbly sought your assistance to please assist me in locating the said Missing luggage. Honestly, this has been a very frustrating situation for me and I hope that things will be sorted out soon.
Apparently, I have been one of your very regular customers and I heavily rely on your assistance to assist me in this regards.
Luggage Details are as Follows
Bag Identification Tag – TG 506494

SYD TG 451 / 17
