First of all, they go by the other name “the travel club” when you reach out to them for any travel enquirers and if you search by that name in google you will end up seeing lot of other “legitimate” travel agents, just to mislead everyone they use that name, but “ride travel club” and “the trvel club” are same. You can see the same contact number on both websites. We have planned for a trip to shimla with “the travel club” initially we were given some attractive offers and lot of buttering from the travel agent “ankur” as we had planned the trip five months before of the actual date, their initial quote was for accommodation + shimla sight seeing which is of inr 52000, we chose and responded to them (By this time someone from their team will start pinging you in whatsapp to build rapport) initially over the phone they will explain about all their policies and everything without letting you read their document completely, over the phone they will never tell that this is one way transaction and there is no concept of refund with them, after we agreed for the package we paid advance of inr 12000 through paytm for which they will even send you a receipt, all they said over the phone was you will have to pay the balance at the time of check-in directly in the resort, before one week of the actual trip they called up and said they need the remaining amount to be transferred to confirm the booking, when asked they said their 3rd party agency is asking for the full payment, when we asked if we can get some kind of confirmation about the resort booking before we pay the remaining amount, we spoke to “ankur” manager “raj dixit” who for the first time asked us to read the policy, the policy says refund is not an option if we cancel the trip within 14 to 21 days of the departure, in our case we reached them only before 15 days of the actual trip, i paid the whole amount and waiting for my can and hotel vouchers which i received after a week and then we call each and every resort and they mentioned that the room is booked for us and i was relieved an then we started a trip. My trip was going good when we checked out from first hotel we got to know they have only paid the half amount to each and every hotel. When i call and asked they told they have some issue with account office for now you pay and we will pay you later and we dont have any other option and we paid and moved but out trip is already messed up and we all were completely upset and mood off.

Also, they have asked me to pay the gst amount and peak charges we have paid too but never received any kind of bill receipt.

Do not ever plan any vacation with these people, they will ruin your plan

The travel club is a one of the best fraud company they cheat to customers easily they will provide quotation small cost but after they will ask season charge and travel agency charge don't pay to that travel club agency zero rupee also
There comapny names are the travel club and ride travel club and rathi travel club
Most dangerous persons are lalit chowdary and vipin
Once you pay money thet will not provide single rupee also

I have purchased a goa tour package from the travel club.. Contact person was ankit. Ph no +[protected].. After 50% payment demanding extra money.. And also cancelled my trip without refund. Now when we asked for refund he is threating us.. I saw there is so many compliments against this company.. Fraud company.. After first payment they always demand for extra.. If you refused to give money they will cancel

Today i have purchased a goa tour package with air fare from the travel club for 28k. Where 8000 was for air fare and rest for hotel n cab n others. After my payment for air fare 8k and 9k for tour they demanding extra 3500 for air fare. They are saying that air price was increased. Although i checked it was same. When i refused to pay the extra money they are threating to me.

We have planned for a trip to kodaikanal with “the travel club” initially we were given some attractive offers and lot of buttering from the travel agent “ankur” as we had planned the trip only before 14 days of the actual date, we dint have many choices and they immediately found that we are their prey. Their initial quote was for accommodation + kodaikanal sight seeing which is of inr 17000, when we told them that we already booked our own cab and just looking for accommodation, they gave us an option for inr 7500 to choose from 3 resorts in kodaikanal, we chose one and responded to them (By this time someone from their team will start pinging you in whatsapp to build rapport) initially over the phone they will explain about all their policies and everything without letting you read their document completely, over the phone they will never tell that this is one way transaction and there is no concept of refund with them, after we agreed for the package we paid advance of inr 3750 through gpay for which they will even send you a receipt, all they said over the phone was you will have to pay the balance at the time of check-in directly in the resort, before one week of the actual trip they called up and said they need the remaining amount to be transferred to confirm the booking, when asked they said their 3rd party agency is asking for the full payment, when we asked if we can get some kind of confirmation about the resort booking before we pay the remaining amount they said they cannot give any confirmation as such, and they refused to talk to the resort on a conf call just for the confirmation from the resport end (By this time we already spoke to resort and they confirmed there is no such travel agency called them for booking for that date), we spoke to “ankur” manager “raj dixit” who for the first time asked us to read the policy, the policy says refund is not an option if we cancel the trip within 14 to 21 days of the departure, in our case we reached them only before 15 days of the actual trip, still we were ready to pay the remaining amount as long as they can show us some kind of confirmation that the resort is blocked for us and we don’t want to get any surprises from the resort at the last minute, they were not ready to do that. Even after talking to multiple people none of the wants to listen to us and not ready for any kind of negotiation.

I have booked package for my parents for madurai, rameshwaram, kanyakumari, kovalam and trivandrum which is scheduled for 15th of october 2019.

They have given me quote of 29, 900 - complete package - with 2000 cashback after trip completes
20k - for flight booking

Asked me to pay 20k for flight and 50% of the complete package.

I paid them 33190, after few hours they called me and asked me for 7k extra as the flight changes have been raised on 5th october.

I asked them to return my money as i can see the flight cost same as i saw in morning, so i will book it from my end, please return my airfare cost of 20k, they denied and told we have already paid to airlines, we will not refund you, we will adjust it in your travel.

So i asked them the package is 30k and you already took 3k extra from me, so give it back to me atleast 3k.

They sent me hotel vouchers on 7th october after reminding them.

On 8th of october, a person call from the legal team travel club - [protected] and asked me for 14000 for below.

T. A. C. - god knows what the # is this

He told me that either you pay the money or we will cancel your package, i told them please cancel and refund me the amount, he told me that the amount is non refundable and 100% will be charged.

I told them non of these things are informed to me, i mean gst is ok, but who pay's for peak season and tac.

I got stuck in between now, please someone tell me if we have any escalation procedure of this, as they guy on phone thinks he's the whole and sole of the company.
