I just Want to Known that did There Is any Link or site, through which we can have the knowkedge about the Rto Rules for driving the vehicle.

I would like to know from Traffic Police Department, , that how many fine they charge to auto rixa wala, , and how many memo they make in the year compare to other vehical, , it is must to know every people when they r suffering from all type of problems in city.

This problem is in Chennai(Madras) also

there is heavy traffic in navrangpura h.l.comm college road, from morning 10.30to 5.30p.m pls try to solve the problem

There is no rules on traffic signals. At the time of pick hourse i.e. 10-11 am and 7-8.30 pm most of the signals broken by the public and the traffic police are stand behind the signal and can't do anything. Many times I seen on Ashram road where traffic is very heavy most of the day time, guys not wearing helmet, talking on mobile, having three people on bike and breaking the traffic signal. Traffic Havaldar is standing and looking at them but can't do anything. Everytime one innocent people suffer and save there life against this irregularity. At the noon time between 2-4 pm all police havaldar standing behind the turning point and do katki of Rs.10-50 for not wearing helmet, not having PUC, not having license etc. Where the guy who broken lot of rules running away in front of there eyes. Most of all moving before green lights gets on and there might be a chance for accident. More then 5-6 police men are there on heavy traffic point but even then they can't do anything. WHY?

dear friend ahmedabad traffic police is not traffic but is terrafic police for all public like us last satarday on 14th mach my one of the worker is going on side car with some samples in it on diwan vallu bhai corner the 4 of traffic police persons trapped him i write trapped becouse they are standing behind a truck so that no body can see them they chase my worker to either pay 200 rs to them becouse there is some samples in the side car otherwise detained the side car on spot and at last they do the same they write so many dharas on challan and detained the side car i get shocked when i saw that every thing is present with side car like rc book, licence, puc, insurance than also they charge 1000/- rs in rto to release the sidecar. the traffic person who make ths challan is doing katki with lot so vehicles on the spot and enjoying bidi on the road i take his snap also but nobody is here to look after them

I have travelled on today in GJ1BU 1258 from rly stn to paldi. the meter reading was 97points whoch shoudl be only 25/26 rupees however the auto driver asked me to collect 40 ruppes and taken the same from me. I have tried to lodge a formal complaint at paldi traffic booth but they suggested me to go to Lal Darwaza for raising a complaint.

hello, first of i request to all indian(which obiously include Ahmedabad peoples) to maintain self discipline and follow the traffic rules and co-operate traffic police.

I fully agree that traffic lower rank police person are in habit to size the license of the vehicle driver, which is really very bad tech tic to harass any laymen. but at the same time if person is not in fault than instead of giving any bribe/illegal money, one should protest and ask his/her "BAKKAL" number and name and make complaint against his superior officer in writing immediate effect. if vehicle of the driver is in fault then he/she should pay money to traffic police and ask for the Receipt on the spot. if you feel that traffic police have wrongly charge you for fine than it is open for the aggrieved person to approach traffic court to the challenge the fine impose upon him/her. Even if i am not wrong than fine charges are also mention in receipt and in some public parking places.

To stop corruption and malpractice in society at every level one has to give fight by following legal rules and getting more aware of the right available under the Indian law.

I am Balkrishna B Dave From Baroda, Today i am traveling on my vehical Discover, and trafic point lalbaug one trafic police run between my vehical he is ask me for licence i have get, than after he ask me for PUC i get PUC sleep but it velidity is over be for two day. i dont no about that...he is ask me for give 50.00 RS but unfortunitly i have no money that time...he is give me court memo. i tell question what is fine amount in court he is ask me talk lawyer.i say ok but what is section of PUC .please write in counce for PUC. he is ask me not possible. i dont no PUC section he is right section in my memo 184, 115, 190(2), 177. i dont understand about what is required PUC.all goverment BUS is make maximum polution, all policy old vehical is make polution, and many of PUC vehical also after PUC certificate use kerosin and make polution in city.and many of local disel riksa that time my site is carry passanger near me and trafic police 5 to 6mambers are there and he carry passanger 15 to 20 passanger in disel riksa, , , , but no budy ask for him...and i want that memo all section abot PUC or any other.

I was driving bike in bellandur(Bangalore) after a signal two traffic police stoped me and told i cross the signal, i am sure that i did not because while cross the line i saw it was green. Those people force fully took money from me and told i ll not give to them then i have to go court.

Is there no solution for this????

Traffic police in Ahmedabad are lazy bums and arrogant. They wait for you to do a mistake even when they have an opportunity to warn/ suggest you. They do not take any responsibility for the lack of signage on the road and on the contrary wait for us to break the rule.

Best tool is to keep ourselves in legal limits and even if they find a reason to get you to pay, do not bribe. Try to take a mobile camera and shoot the photograph of the post it on website and post it to news papers and let them know that, because even if you pay and receive the receipt and decide to fight taking the matter upwards, its of no use as their bosses are more corrupt and shameless.

Ahmadabad is worst with literate but still uneducated people to understand the need to follow rules. How can they think of fighting against the corruption?

is it prohibited only in ahmedabad only or in entire gujarat ?

except ahmedabad there is no objection raised by any other city traffic police

i had been caught at shivranjni cross road on 8th april 5:45 pm the home guard caught me and the police man asked for 100 rs from me for not ving helmet
when i told him i ve problem of blood in head he told me give 50rs i gave 50rs as rule
and he did not give me memo and put 50 rs in pocket and told me if i give memo i ll ve to go to jail i left talk or else hence i will complain to central beuro investigation for ahmedabad traffic police
he just took bribe from me

Our police just want money, they dont care abot our rules of traffic just catch any one and collet the money and leave him.

I agree with inefficiency and corrupted approach of majoroty of traffic police and basically they are worst than terrorist. They are caught red handed and treat as anti national person and hang till death. Now India have to leave forgiveness nad should not rely on GOD for all activity, we have to strat acting so that GOD will help us.

My vehicle number is MH06AB8722 and I travel to Visnagar regularly for my business activities.
I have also had similar experience three times.
The first time they stopped me for not putting yellow strip on right side head light. This rule is not enforced in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Goa, Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. I know this since my travels take me to these states also. When I told the Duty Officer he told me that I need to go to court and pay a fine and since it was already past the court time, I will have to wait till the next working day. How was it possible for an outsider to stay back in Ahmedabad for this purpose?. Then A tout appeared and suggested that I pay Rs.500. for dropping all charges. What option but to pay?
The second time it was in Sardar Patel Ring Road just after one of the toll booths. This time it was early in the morning so I decided come what may, I will not pay them. They detained the vehicle and the passengers for nearly two hours and then let us go since we were gathering other travellers and preparing to approach the powers that be for redressal.
The third time we were stopped at night and asked to open up our luggage. This in spite of knowing that ladies were also travelling with us. After that the duty personnel were demanding bakshis. When asked for what reason, they said just as a gift.

this is India. if break simple rule u have to pay. where politics take high level rule with out worry.

I have noticed that they carry two or three memo books at same time. I don't know why a police man requires to use two different memo books at same time when I was cought without licence and helmet and they have already caught another guy. No doubt, one amount goes directly in their pocket.

I am driving my bike without helmet since last 2 and I don't have a licence. I have been caught several times, but thanks to my father in Indian Army, I called him and helped myself to esacpe. However, you are not lucky everytime, when papa don't pick your call or you forgot your cell. Well the charges started from around Rs. 500 for not wearing helmet, not carrying licence, breaking signal, and this that you never heard something. They will write everything on slip just leave the amount and it will keep decreasing minimum 50. How is it possible, that they change the law for a crime charged 500 comes down to 50 rs.

the worst part beyond the complains...my frns... this is 4 u also... when public or media want answer from the incharge...a answer was given...:"balako na syllabus ma traffic na paalan mate ni samaj ane niyamo ne mukwama awya 6...?what the helll...tame shu amara balako na traffic ni samasya solve karwa mago 6o...jmne awta 10 warsh k 50 warsh p6 a samasya nadshe...atyarni paristhiti same na to tamara pase awdat 6 k na to tamari taiyaari...danda u6aal n licence mago 60 e pan amdawad na the most crowded place kalupur ma...rather than to maintain traffic...example 6 tamari krutagnta nu tamari jawabdari pratye...

i am suresh kerai passing near IIM Ahmedabad one traffic police come and ask about licence i provide it after it ask about PUC i inform that i have purchase bike before 2 month so there are not require that and after he ask about legal vehicle document i provided it after some time he ask you have not ware helmet give 50 rs. fine.

i have to complain against corrupted traffic police... Most of time they are demanding money... why they are demanding extra money govt. do not give him a salary...if they said yes they get the salary on time then how can they accept money without challan...is there any rule if person is drive without insurance copy they will have to pay 500 or his vehicle is surrendered. Me and my friend were charged RS 150 fine for not having the POC of the Bike, in spite of having license, ID card by MR.PARMAR on SARKHEJ GANDHINAGAR HIGHWAY.
After crossing that circle, at the next circle the policemen caught us again and when we told them about the charge we payed, they said a fine should be charged on the policemen for taking 100 rs extra.
Is this is what policemen supposed to be? Charging extra from students thinking they are innocent enough and cannot argue much?
Ashamed that i am a resident of such a country where people are tortured for paying what they dont deserve to.
I know 150rs is very casual for people in India, but why should we be forced to pay extra when we dont have to? Are we being charged for staying in this country? Residents are not here to fill the pockets of policemen asking for unnecessary charges.
I dont think any fine or any action will be taken against him, in spite of me specifying his name, yet i did want to give a attempt to check if officials could really do something or not.

There is heavy trafice on Andhjan Mandal on morning & evning & traffice police force fully send on wrong way if public want to right side as per rules & he will force to go state & due to this there is havey traffie on asopalac char rasta & use more petrol of publice as well as west of time at that perticular place.

please take some action on this & they are all in not diciplin & use bad language on public on office time.

I received challan today via post and I also check online from the website but unfortunately I found that there is another challan payment is pending which is not correct and also thing is that for that particular challan post I didn't received and for present challan I will pay.
