TVS Jupiter (White) purchased On 24th May 2014'. When the TVS Jupiter sleeps down on floor, noticed that the petrol, more than 1litre, spread outside on floor from the scooter (Fuel Tank was full with petrol but after this incidence it was showing upto 1 and 1/2 litre less in petrol tank. Naik Auto, Kumbharmath, Malvan( TVS service centre ) checked the problem and noticed that there is a hole on fuel tank for passing air & when scooter sleeps down, the hole passes petrol continuously upto the level of hole. According to their information, Servicemen said that the hole is a special technique /specification of Jupiter scooter Which is not supported in Wego or another scooter. On 18th July 2014, I said it to Sachin Rao, the sales incharge of TVS service centre, Kudal because at that time, there was not available. He said that every scooter, motorcycle, in sleeping mode, gets outside petrol from the tank. I will prove it. So Your Jupiter have not a problem of petrol leakage.


Now because of Akosha, From TVS Jupiter 's Showroom, (Kolhapur, ) Mr. Avinash called me on 29th July, 2014. He is also saying that it's not problem or fault & the hole is made for air. On Saturday, 2/8/2014, he is coming, Malvan. ( Naik Auto ) for checking the Scooter. Yesterday, on 31st July, 2014, According to instructions Mr. Avinash, ( that he was saying that Tvs Auto will solve the problem) TVS Auto, Malvan, checked for solving the problem, (Naik Auto's servicemen's are co-operating us ) but could not solve the problem. Servicemen's are saying orally that they can't solve the problem. because it's a air volve. & according to their opinion, because of the top and central / middle side of the tank, 1/2 part of the petrol comes out from the tank, when the scooter sleeps down that means, upto level of this hole, petrol will comes out & then it will stop.

I agree with you as i Brought Jupiter on 8th March 2015 and today there is petrol leakage in there. Now im worried about my dicission to buy TVS Jupiter is correct as i could have brought Activa at just 300 Rs difference.

Please dont go for TVS Jupiter.Very Very bad bike and comapny.. Completely SCRAPed moped with chief material..Waste of Money...
Almost every Jupiter is having problem of patrol leakage from tube given for overflow.
It always keeps leaking the patrol . Wastage of 0.5 to 1 litre of patrol.
My bike is just 3 months old recently I had done the 2nd so called free servicing of the bike.
I showed this problem to dealer(Saibaba TVS Chinchwad Pune). They had fixed it temporarily. Next day leakage problem restarted.
I am not sure who is at faul??
Is it me ?
Is it Company?
Is it dealer ?
..But this is very disgusting this. Not a single word of apology neither from company nor from dealer.

Same problem with my scooter as well.
Started this problem just second day of purchase. As per mechanic he said petrol got filled in air filter box. Once this petrol leakage problem starts scooter doesn't starts.

I had purchased a new jupetor two weeks before from perithalmanna tvs showroom, Kerala. I have the same problem of leaking petrol through overflow pipe. I have complained about this issues. There were cleaned the carborater, But still have the problem. Now they said we change the carborater. I hope the issue can fix. Just hope..
I am totally not happy with their services.
Never buy jupetor scooter go for an another scooter.
