Charging huge amount for servicing

I was informed with approximate amount of 2500rs along with AMC. Now service is done and they are quoting a amount of 4000rs which I thing is not worth.They are just bluffing peoples with this sudden huge amount.

Dissatisfied with TVS poor service
This is to inform you that I have given my vehicle for servicing at Dhiraa Motors, Alwarthirunagar Chennai and I am totally dissatisfied with service provided to me. My vehicle no.KA28EN 3010 was returned to without servicing and even without proper wash.
Upon asking the adviser Arun Das asked me come next week for proper washing & servicing. Agreeing to him I gave my vehicle yesterday for re-servicing. As I came to pick my vehicle today I found that vehicle is in same condition. Now the adviser is asking me to wait for another day for checking.
I’m very much disappointed with his behaviour and felt cheated even after paying full service charges.
Request you to take proper action for this negligence as I will take this issue to higher level.

This is with regard to the authorized tvs service center kondapur branch. I have given my bike for servicing as there some unusual sound coming . First they said clutch problem and charged Me with 1200 .but still the problem was there and I took my bike again and they said they need change clutch rollers and charged 1500 rps.but even now the problem persists and they are not responding properly.how many times do I need to go to their service center. They were not able to fix a simple issue as headlight. I wish tvs people decide on whom to make as their authorized service dealers by checking their mechanic s.

TVS service center - Bangalore
TVS scooty service is very worst in Domlor, Bangalore. They are putting worst spare parts. With in a week, vehicle condition goes back. But they are charging for each service more than Rs 800.

Looks like their all service stations share the same story. I got my scooty serviced at Kundanhalli service station. They charged Rs. 2000/- in the name of putting new battery in my scooty and servicing the vehicle. The scooter never came on self-start mode after that plus the brakes are too loose to make your vehicle suitable to meet with an accident.

TVS as a company sucks.... they are good for nothing. i got a bike from them , the TVS apache and right from the begining i have had problems with it. they could not fix it and then their service centres are the worst any company can have... i have given my bike for servicing 4 times in the Goa Kala Service Centre and they have never fixed a single problem. they do not even wash the bike.
i regret buying a TVS bike and i will never make the mistake again and will ensure that none of my family members or friends ever buy a TVS.

I have purchased TVS apache last year but i am not satis fied with its performance every month there is problems like battery charging shockobsorber noice in engine etc i have complaint further also so please do need full call me on [protected]
Huhhhh I have purchased TVS Apache in the month of Jan 2007 and i was very proud to own it. But this proudness did not last for that long, i am having several problems like Sound in the engine, Battery dischargs, Gear Shifting problem. I always give my bike to Susheel Motors, Kukatpally, Hyderabad because they are the top most dealer for TVS in entire Hyderabad. Till today, i have given my bike for four services, every time i request them to fix up the problems which i have mentioned earlier, but all in vain they are not at all fixing the problem perfectly and battery they do not even charge it at all inspite of my repeated requestes and on top of this, they argue with the customers telling that they have fixed the problem!! Can any one help me out in fixing up this problem (I mean good service center) and how to lodge a complaint on this dealer.
TVS Apache (150 cc) — Irresponsible behaviour @ service
From the last three services, I am trying to replace foot brake switch of my TVS Apache(150cc) as it is not working since I did second service of my TVS Apache(150cc) but till date(6th service has comed up) it not get replaced as the same answer I got from their end"sir, We dont have that Switch in our stock".
I even make this complaint in their complaint book. They give me in written also that switch will get replaced by 15 Feb, but now its 27 April but still my situation is same. Nothing has been done regarding my complaint, their answer is same.The service station that show such irresponsible way ofworking is

Thrice i gave it to service and complained about the problem but still they havent rectified the problem. Customer service is worst than other services, They r not even water washing the bike properly.(Medavakkam showroom). If i would have given my bike to local mechanic he would have resolved my problem. I need a resolution for this. If its not resolved as soon as possible then i would have to take further action. I should get a reply for this mail immediately.

I am having a TVS Fiero F2 bike and staying at Haldia, an industrial hub at West Bengal. The distance of nearest authorized TVS service centre is more than 45 KM, which is located at Tamluk and name is SHAILA MOTORS. Their servicing is worst among other companies. They never solve any complaints, even they enhance the problem. As for example, last time when i serviced there, they had broken the side leg stand for solving the minor problem in that part of bike. Moreover, they are not giving any "Pukka" (original) bill for any thing, except service charge. Also charging huge money for spare parts.

i am having a bike TVS apace, i m going in service centre for they says me u r late for 8 days for ur third free service u can go for fourth.. why i do so when in the book is writtem 6 months or 2500 km or means what ????

I bought new Apache RTR 160, after few days applyed disk break the back light is not glowed, so i compalint regarding this problem later the service the Disk break is not working, again and again i said this is my bike problems. after my second service they said TVS company manufacturing the Break such a way so we cant able to rectifiy your bike problem. i know that problem is with the Service engineers they dont know how to rectify this break problem, without knowing bike service then why they are telling like this.

I bough TVS Apache RTR 160 Bike in the last year Aug 2007. When i bought from tht time i got a sound from the engine. I asked with the service engineers they told me After first service it will be good. So i left, in the first service i informed the compliant.He told we will find out and rectify, but whatever the problem i told they didnt rectify . I was given the bike for first service itself thrice. then i gave second service in Ramkay TVS velacherry. There also i informed, But the engine noise was low.Then fourth service i informed the problems what i m facing. they didnt respond. After that I informed and they take my bike to rectify, But not fully recovered. I am getting the noice from left side.

I want to know the reason, without take care of customer queries why the TVS company launched customer complaint form in net. its no use of the customer.
Do some thing needful for the customer. don't irritate and waste of customers valuable time. see a bike cost is 62000 Thousand anything is not free. Dont be like a business minded person.

i am ready to buy bajaj RTR 160cc Fi, but by seeing all the reviews. i am some what strucked. every one complaints are service. now i came to know that, tvs motors only aspect is to sell bikes but not customer's service. selling bikes is not the only aspect in the present competitive situation.i am going for bajaj pulsar.
I purchased New RTR in Feb 2008..From SK TVS Delhi. In the first service from SK TVS service centre, mayapuri, Delhi..they replaced my silencer with some rusted one..and when i complained they made fun of me. They told me that silencer colour was removed because of water. Also they told me to get it painted but when i insisted on putting a new one as bike is under warrenty, they told me that part is not available and will take weeks to come...Aftyer a long fight...Yes Fight...abuses..and toture...i got it replaced...Then one day my chain start making strange noises...when i went again to them...They took my bike in garage and after half an hour told me that alloy cover next to gear is broken and need to be replaced...They asked me to pay for it ...can you believe ...i have to pay even when bike is in warrenty., .TRUTH is they took revenge and broke it intentionally...SK TVS never allows to see your bike while repairing or Servicing...MOther ...NOw my disk brake makes noises...I took it for second service and they air cleaned it...but after 1/2 km it again start making noises...NO MATTER WHAT NEVER GO FOR TVS BIKES as SERVICE WILL KILL YOU..TORTURE YOU...CHOOSE OTHER NOT SO GOOD BIKES as MENTAL PEACE IS WHAT MATTERS MOST.

WELL AND THE TVS APACHE IS ANOTHER BIG BLUNDER FROM THE HOUSE OF TVS.

I feel like i have made the worst decison of buying TVS apache and from Ramkay Adayar...
Not a single time they have deliver my vehicle on time.Once they damaged my side bracket under the battery compartment, because of the reason that the acid from the battery got split .They said they cant replace it as it is common.but after i fought with them and said i will go to the consumer court they said it will be replaced and they gave it in writing..They also peeled of the logo in the front bracket and the ruber bush in the sppedometer..
i got all this in writing..
They have already replaced my battery two time under warranty becuase of its malfuction...
and also the self motor which is used to start the vehicle
and my speedometer;
Well after that i did not use the vehicle much because of it irritating vibration which is really worse.
well dont go for TVS apache and dont even think abt RAMKAY ADYAR;chennai, who gives a nightmare...
anyone can rply me back and i have all proof for the same..and i have also written complaints to the higher autorities of Ramkay and TVS and not a single cared to answer/reply

We have given our (12.08.2008) Scooty pep+ for general service, they canvased me to put refinishing coat. several times i asked the concern person weather if we put refinishing coat if there is any problem will come, he said no, there is no problem you can put refinishing coat. we will give one year will warranty for colour shade. At last while we taking delivery the vehicle colour totally faded and i left the vehicle and came back. After that the person who applied refinishing coat called me (He is not a TVS staff ) and suggested me to don't worry i will put another coat and it will be ok. Finally (19.08.2008) today we went to take delivery we are totally disappointed because the work done by them. Again i came back without taking delivery. STill now there is no response from their side.Tvs Customer care have to take necessary steps to clear this problem. And i having a big problem, i don;t know where to give complaint. TVS group can create Customer care service centre. Beacuse we people suffereing like anything.

I nakul naresh kumar purchased tvs apache 150 (veh no 6670) 18months back in sri sai show room at R.C Puram, because of attachment which i have with tvs & i also have scooty pep.
In this is 18 months span more than eight times metre gear has been replaced, 26 service have been done with in 22 thousand kms,
Thedealer ship which is given to them (sri sai motors rc puram opposite to jyothi theatre should be cancelled ) because they kill with bill with our doing any servicing with simple water wash
(ex i said that there is prb in meter gear they replaced entire wheel & given bill of 2000 bugs ) it happened 2 times
They dont have friendly nature with customers, Rudeness, no customer visted to that service center shows their satisfaction,

I bought a Apache 150 in the month of June 2007, it has suddenly broken down after 6 months, i gave back to the dealer, susheel motors, they repaired and given back the vehicle, from the last three months, the battery is simply discharging changed the battery, changed the condenser charges the battery still given the same problem, I surrendered the vehicle to them saying keep the vehicle for 4 days, do full repair, if it gives the same problem i can not bear it. it is three days from now they are not responding

I purchased a tvs scotty pep+ on 14th, July, 2008 and after that the vehicle has been serviced for 3 times.The scotty is having starting probelm and I have informed the service centre several times, but still the probelm is there. This is new vehicle and I do not understand, what is the issue.I want to know, whether it is manfacturing defect or the person at the service centre do not have expertise to give proper service.

Alright Guys!For me, The Verdict is out.TVS Apache RTR FI is the most DUD bike ever to appear in the Indian Market.I think it's only a matter of time before this bike & it's memory is confined to the dustbin of History.
After ridding the bike of it's manufacturing defects, which invo9lved replacement of the fuel injection pipe & tightening of some loose fitting component in the silencer(as told by the sevice centre mechanic), within ten days the rear disk brake pads had to be changed which cost 400 bucks.The issue of rear disk plate's unusually high friction against the wheel, still remained unresolved.I went to SNEHA TVS workshop in Dilsukhnagar(Hyderabad) to get this issue resolved & was shocked by what i heard from one of the mechanics.He said, the rear disk plate has worn off due to usage, because there was no oil in the rear disk oil can.He had no answer to my question that "Is'nt it their responsibility to check something as simple as oil level in the oil can, when the bike is with them for servicing & fault correction just ten days ago?.There was another shocker.The Mech said the cost could go upto 2, 500 bucks to get the disk plate replaced.I had to again use the same old tactic of consumer court threat to coax them to doing the required thing for free, because it's been just 4 months since I bought my bike & the rising maintenance costs have begun to defy logic.
I left my bike with them today in the morning to get it fixed yet another time.My Father fetched the bike from them at 5 in the evening.I returned home at 6 & was disgusted by what i saw.The rear disk plate has been changed, but the friction of the plate with the wheel has only increased, not decreased.I went for a trial ride & the pick-up has become more sluggish & it feels something is pulling the bike behind when one is riding it.The reason given for this appears to be just a CHOORAN.The mech said it will take a couple of days for the rear wheel to become "FREE".
Considering the fact that bikes are churned out of assembly lines & not hand made by a single person, I draw only one conclusion-I AM NOT AN ISOLATED CASE HERE.There are many out there who are stuck with this dead wood & maybe they are in a state of denial, which is a natural human response against anything which crops up unexpected.My suggestion to guys who have already been conned into owning this PIECE OF is-ETERNAL VIGILANCE.Be alert & be aware of your rights as a consumer & don't hesitate to use it when the time comes.
For those of you guys who are lucky enough not to own this bike, but still can't help drooling over it on the roads, I have a rocking advice.Just let it be known to any RTR FI owner how much you like his bike & I bet, he would be happy to hand it over to you for less than half the price he paid for the same bike.
I envy all the LUNAS, SPLENDORS, STAR CITIES, BOXERS, PULSARS, UNICORNS on the roads since the day I started riding RTR FI.

I have some problem in my TVS Xl-SUPER.i go to HMT motors, Arumbakkam.TIN NO.[protected], CST NO.867667, Area Code.074.He told me, Bore is cheese, you change the Cylinder block spiston kit.i accept and hand over to HMT motors.he delevered and i m going to Lesser 10KM with 30km speed.then comes same problem.i have totaly upset because i have paid Rs.2241.00 for this service.this problem comes at 11.30pm(midnight).what we do at that time, i m going to my home at 4.00 am(morning) to walking with my bike.

I have purchased a new TVS Star City in August. After every service i found complaint in the bike right now after last free service bike is not running ok so again i m going to the services center of GK TVS in Patparganj Industrial Area among 48 Km far from my house. still after complaint services my bike is not running ok. Even in chennai alao they are charing more Rs.800 but their services are so good.Within double of days the bike starts to give problem.

The guys over there are so co-operative and helpful. I have never faced any problems regarding the services offered at the service station. The only repetative problem that I have noticed with my bike is about the digital meter.
From since purchase of the bike, I have changed the level indicator 2 times (during guarantee period). But even today I face the same problem.
I request TVS guys to look into the matter and improve the bike further.

I agree to this. Each time they service, they say somethign or the other thing is wrong and always the bill will be 700 plus. I got my scooty pep + service done just 3 weeks back. And it has broke down yesterday, not even a local mechanic can repair it and i have to push it all the way to my home now..

TVS service is the worst. They charge fake bills and then appologise for it. My scooty pep + stopped working after servicing. I have asked them to come and look into the problem but they say thae same thing everyday that i will send the mechanic today ...But nobody has turned up yet. Its been 10 days. Never go to Sneha TVS Servic centre near kothapet, Hyderabad.
I bought a scooty Streak in Ramkay TVS centre at Adyar, Chennai. I had my fourth service done recently in Ramkay and i found out that after the service, the vehicle wasn't starting. I thought that there was no petrol and pushed the streak to the nearby petrol station. After that also it didn't start.Checking with the local mechanic and he told that there was no way that the vehicle was serviced. Ramkay TVS is horrible..

I want to complain about the service centre MCR Enterprises, Mongol Puri, New Delhi.Something is really wrong here and the service is really very very poor.Parts are found always defective after giving bike to servicing.Once there was something wrong with my bike TVS RTR 160cc disk brake.One of the service centre person took me to the corner and said if i dont make the bill for this part he can get it done at a cheaper rate.Mr.Rajesh the manager is never ever available.The head mechanic (I Dont know his name) of this service station does not have manners and is always eating gutka and pan even while taking.Its just soo much disguisting.In my last servicing around 5 months back my speedo meter was working fine but after the bike got serviced it was not working.One of the company official called me up to verify whether if was satisfied with the servicing and i told him this problem.He said to me that go to service centre again and tell them what is wrong.Sir/Madam we take out time from our daily routine and give bike for servicing and expect that it would be trouble free.I cant go for work if i dont have my bike.These guys in this service centre are really upto something and there something really going wrong here.Today 05/2/2010 again i got my bike serviced.And when i started my bike it was not starting.I called one mechanic and he said that the part (Cap Assy Spark plug) is defective.But i didnt face any problem with it anytime before.The mechanic said "IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE IT YOU CAN CHANGE IT"...I had to change it by paying 60rs because i had no other option.It was such a reluctant reply.And when i said i want to talk to incharge they said he has gone out and told me to talk to another person.When i went to him he said talk to another person.Madam it was like a government office adn nobody bothered.Just check out indian complaints website and u will know how many people are facing problems like this.People around here(New Delhi) talk that TVS servicing is bad so dont go for itz bike.I know TVS rules the southern part but here something is really wrongs because of service centre.I am taking in your interest please call me so that i can explain the matter in detail.Thank you.

i have given my TVS apache RTR for service in cohin TVS vytilla kochi. I got my bike back after 4 days and when i got it back i found that my bike was driven for about 45kms. i am sure that the service men would have used my bike for their personal use. My TVS Appache has a problem of back tyre gets worn out on one side only. It could not be rectified by Nellai TVS automobiles, Tuticorin. The tyre was replaced 2 times. Still the problem exist. The tyre manufacturer verified and give a report stating no problem in tyre. So please adive with utmost care to solve the problem
Also the painting on petrol tank is peeling. It is also not rectified.

I purchased TVS apache in 2007 when the bike arrived becoz of it's look.
Service center is very poor just they will just change oil that too Tvs oil worst product and
water service.
My kind advice give your vehicle to mechanic and tell your complaints properly and also use
Shell Advance 4t plus oil for your service...

i 've bought apache bike newley for past one year my complaint was not at all concerned in the service centre LOTUS TVS which is in ERODE. although am doing my pg M.E in SAFETY ENGINEERING i fool of myself still now they didn't rectify my rear brake still now am managing with gear cut to stop the bike.
while i disagree their reply is use duplicate brake shoe so that u can stop the bike, but why was they manufacture a component like this better they stop it, and i pardon to all don't ride such a worst ergonomic bike like this...
the death rate is increasing due to apache ride...

hi…I purchased scooty pep last year by gk tvs delhi.. I had 2 free service by gk tvs workshop bt this time m not satisfied actully after service my scooty's back tyre is very snoring..n I was gone to rechecking bt it again not wrk properly…..its seriously very worst service ..

I purchased a TVS flame a year ago. I found some clutch problem while purchasing. Mathura Service center assured me to resolve it, but its being persisting yet. I'm suffering from some of more service problems like gear shifting is not so smooth, some sound in the seat, self start- (it never starts in the morning without use of choke), average problem- a big problem i'm facing with. Average is still below 40 km/lt. further i wanna state that either resolve all these problems or i will make the necessary legal steps to sue you.
I took a new 180 rtr white from kerala (kochi, vytla showroom), there were several complaints from the begining itself...the persons in the showroom said it will be allright after 1st service. But now after first service, the complaints given to make clear to the persons in showroom chart list, they never did anything right, that too same in second service...the service in this showroom is the worst i ever witnessed..no customer support...i would never recommend anyone to buy any tvs products...its totally not customer friendly...i hate ur good for nothing service...

I have purchase a tvas flame 125 which engine no. Their technician trail the byke and find out the CARBURETTOR of the byke is disfuctioning it will repless our company through the annapurna tvs siliguri. The annapurna tvs service centre is 90 km distance form my residence so I could not attend the same due time. So 4rth & 5th free service date is over I have attend on 16.04.10 at annapurna tvs siliguri for solve the aforesaid problem but they refused solve the problem free of cost.
So I inform you kindly take necessary action as early as posible. Other wise i will take next step which is legal.

After sometime engine started giving pathetic sound and i use to inform service guy for this, but he says no everything is fine, this the real sound which skuti pep+ have, But day by day the scooty condition was becoming worse n worse, after sometime i change the service center which is in JP nagar near SLV,
Here they charges 7000 /- and chnages all the engine parts n told me that some problem was there so we have changed the engine parts, but after doing servicing in 2months every week some or other problem use to come and i need to visit service center, even these all things was going on but today i was in such situation to mate with an accident.After pressing teh brake scooty stops and not able to start not only this it was not moving back or front and the traffic was about to kill me ... i was really in very critical situation .

nellai tvs — poor service
A very big cheaters in India. they are only eligible to sell bike not make proper service. eventhough there not accepting services for new bikes also. so please dont buy tvs products. having irresponsible staffs leads to company' deadway i have a TVS heavy duty and its chain set is now required replacement, kindly intimate from where I will get this spare part in Chandigarh or Ambala. TVS — problem in digital speedometer and gear...
i bought bike two months ago...it s having gear shifting problem....gear s getting struck in between 1st and neutral most of the time...also digital speedometer gets mute for many times... I purchased a TVS Apache RTR 160 in first lunched in Bangalore, I ridded more then 36, 000.00 Km but I have never faced the problems with my bike, now it is in worst condition because I got bade servicing from ORIN motor – koramagla. The problem with shaft they also know about this problem due to no availability of stock they left as it as earlier. To find the problem thy had taken almost 5 days including Sunday but the problem is same. and i have been following with them since 1 month not even get any perly from they. really i regret with TVS service and TVS make bike and i will never make the mistake again and will ensure that none of my family members or friends ever buy a TVS. (Shaft is Rs. 1500 but for service I spent almost Rs 6700 bugs what a tragedy man)
TVS Bikes and its services centers are there only to make money. They never bother about the customers and their problems.

i went to TVS centre at Auto World, Mehdipatnam, Hyderabad. I purchased TVS scooty pep there long back at the same centre. I went there for problme of OIl leak and the attitude of the service personal present there was different. They neither cared for the repair of my moped nor they treated well us there. I was subjected to disgrace by the one mr. Mazher and Akbar Sultana present there. I pleaded for early repair but the answer was different. They never bothered to address my complaint. I told to them the reputation of the TVS company was on stake but they never cared. At last i have to get my problem solved from other repairers there. I request you to treat this matter on priority basis or else i am contrained post my experience in all the media and other forums available to me.

Beyond that I met a small accident couple of months back and i got it serviced from SHOBHA TVS. Since then I am a firm believer that being fake and untrue is a part of TVS bikes.
They replaced it by refurbished painted handle and gear lever apart from many other parts that are within the bike and charged more than rupees ten thousand for the same (at MRP with 0% discount). When complained about this, they are since then telling me that they are running out of stock of the parts. Apart from this now bike really needs service in every 15 days with old problems existing as they were.
So anybody thinking to buy any TVS bikes...

I Felt that i am one of the proud owner of TVS Apache Rtr 160., But now I disagree with my statement., I bought my bike earlier on march 19th 2010 at Lotus TVS showroom at Erode., the very next day of my purchase i noted a slight vibration in my handle bars and the wheels were pretty much wobbling., I have asked the service personnel about this problem and got the reply that it will be rectified on the first service., As i am writing this my bike went on fourth service., still i didnt get any satisfying result from the service crew., At the beginning, i Was recommending this bike for my friends, but now i wont even talk about the bike in front of others. I think the problem lies in the service and not with the production., TVS had seriously take customer satisfaction into mind else., the famous company may face most serious problems in future.
I am disatisfied with the service provided 2 me at a local TVS service centre in visakhapatnam were the company spares are of low quality & poor in performance for my favourite scooty pep.
i have been using tvs star city since 4 months and when i gave to the service for the first time it had problem with engine and now there is a millage problem with it. no one is taking correct response for it at the service center ( guntur ). what i want to do now to whom i want to contact!!!

I m one of your customer because, I have purchased the Apache RTR 180 bike in July 2009 from binsar automobiles in Durgapuri. My bike engine number is ‘0E6E92000340’
Now I facing the problem, in the front tyre of my bike the air is leaked between rim and tyre and due to tubeless tyre tube is not there in the tyre and if tyre setting is wrong then air is leaked. And this problem is running from one month and I m totally frustrated from the service centre services because I m unable to ride the bike and daily traveled through local and due to this I face more problem.
And even I booked the complaint in service centre on 20 nov 2010 and they kept my bike tyre and they gave me the complaint slip also. And my Complaint slip No is 4936
I m continuously contact with their service manager ‘Sanjay Yadav’ since one month. After more discussions they said that u give your tyre and then I booked the complaint but there is no use of it. And there is no new response from their side. Every Time they say that their service boy is not come in office when he comes then he will see the tyre and then any solution will come.
So, Please tell me, is the service centre depends upon only one person and If there is some problem occurs in your product then you don’t give any solution.
Now, what I do with my bike because it became out of service.
