Misleading information leading to donation scam

On the of 31st December 2022, I was stopped by Unicef India representatives at Tollygunge metro stopped me and started explaining the Nobel cause, which motivated me to donated and I was clearly told atleast five to seven times that the first amount of Rs.1000/- would be deducted from my account after 30 days, I.e. after the 1st of February, the same information was confirmed by me several times and only on the firm word of mouth and few...

    Unauthorised Amount Debited

    I neither subscribe to Unicef nor provided my bank account to it. but a total of Rs1600 amount has been debited from my account on August 23rd 2021 and September 30th of 2021 (Rs 800 each).

    I requested them to cancel my further auto debit from my account but no response yet...

    Unicef is a cheat, they ask for donations terming then (1 time) by their representative loitering near railway stations and corporate offices and later without intimation put us on month ecs.
    Came to know after 3 months that this stupid, fraud company is deducting rs.1000 per month against my credit card statement.

    Had to hotlist and re-issue credit card with new number to stop unicef's cheating approach.

    Never trust unicef is a strong advise.

      Auto-debit (deduction) from bank account without permission

      I used to contribute to unicef india an agreed monthly amount of 650 inr per month, which i increased to 700 inr per month on their persistent request. During the course of 2 years they asked me to re-submit the ecs (To deduct the money from my account automatically) multiple times stating various reasons.
