We have enrolled our son(Manan Bhatt) for Coding classes from November 2023. One of there representatives Chintan Shah informed details about the classes and teacher, schedule and all. Below are the high level complaints

Dear Consumer Court,

I am writing to file a complaint against WhiteHat Jr regarding an unduly delayed refund process. Below are the details of my issue:

Issue Description:
I had taken a loan from Propelled, a finance company, to pay for a course provided by WhiteHat Jr. Below are the financial details of the course and loan:

Loan Amount: INR 111, 000
Down Payment: INR 0
Total Course Amount: INR 111, 000
Credits Offered: 144
Credits Left: 117
Cost Per Class: INR 770.83
Utilization: INR 20, 812
EMI Amount: INR 4, 625 per month
EMIs Paid: INR 46, 250
Refund Due: INR 25, 438
On December 20, 2023, WhiteHat Jr initiated the refund of INR 25, 438 via NEFT and informed me that the amount would be credited to my account within 25-30 working days. Despite the completion of this period, I have not yet received the refund. Moreover, WhiteHat Jr did not send the refund amount to Propelled, and as a result, I am still required to pay my EMIs to the loan company, which is causing financial strain. I am expected to continue paying EMIs until February 4, 2025.

Efforts to Resolve the Issue:
Email Communication: I received an email from WhiteHat Jr stating that the refund would be processed within 25-30 working days. However, this duration is excessively long and unreasonable.
Follow-up Attempts: I have contacted WhiteHat Jr multiple times requesting a quicker resolution, but my requests have been ignored or met with unsatisfactory responses.
Complaint Against:
Company Name: WhiteHat Jr
Nature of Complaint: Delay in refund process
Desired Resolution: I seek the assistance of the Consumer Court to expedite the refund process and ensure such delays are not faced by other consumers. Additionally, I request that the refund be sent directly to Propelled to cover the outstanding loan amount.

Waiting for Refund From 20 Jun 2023, Note Responding nad replying the mails.

I had subscribed to guitar classes for my son Tanush patiyal, total amount paid was Rs 72, 000 for 144 classes. As per company policy you can cancel the course anytime and get refund of balance classes within 4-5 working days.
