I ordered coffee table with stools on 21 sept 2018 (Order id 38442) after reconfirming the delivery dates. It was that i shall get my product withing 12-15 days if the product is ready or within 4-6 weeks if its not ready.. Till today i have called woodenstreet 1000s of time for my order status, yet i haven’t received my product. They dont even have cod or refund option. Everytime i called, i am getting same response that we will deliver your product in 4-5 days.. After reading the reviews on website and confirming the delivery dates, i ordered from wooden street, but its totally waste of my money.

not delivered my furniture even after 7 weeks

I ordered from wooden street on august 20, 2018. However, it soon became one bad decision which i am till date regretting. Right from the order interface — either through online, or through whatsapp interactions with their team or dealing with them repeatedly over the phone — the engagements have been mentally and emotionally harassing and mind numbing to say the least.
In brief, i ordered a tv unit on 20th august (The date when i made the payment on order details shared on whatsapp). Since i had a busy travel calendar scheduled for september/ october, i kept the team informed from the day of booking of my availability to receive the product at a mutually convenient time period. I was promised delivery on 20 september by mr a. Who took the order via whatsapp. However, even after making the payment, i did not receive any confirmation email or message for days. When i made a few calls to check where my money has gone, i was told mr a has gone on leave and "someone" will generate the order summary and share. Once that was generated, i obviously lost few more days for the "processing time".
The experience after that was only downhill. Since i was supposed to travel around the 25th september, i started following up with the team around 18th september. Repeated calls, and extremely long holding time — still no one from the customer care had any idea when my product would arrive. Even on the 20th, when i was frantically calling to check on the delivery, the team either had no response or had vague answers. I never expected such degree of apathy from a brand which is competing with established and trusted brands in the market. Anyhow, i was not given any clarity even till the 24th. After i left for my planned international travel, suddenly without notice, the team is frantically calling me (1.30am my time) that they are delivering the product! It seems like no one was bothering to even read my mails where i was informing them about my upcoming travel — leave aside replying to my mails!
I have been proactive all this while, constantly checking with the team ahead of my travel dates and keeping them informed so logistics can be efficiently managed. Even from us, we agreed on product delivery over the weekend (6/7 october). I sent reminders before leaving back for india, so that the team can prepare the logistics and confirm. Again no delivery or message from them about any hint of delivery. Then finally when i mailed and them on the 6th morning — mr ag said that he will let me know on the 7 october when the product is arriving!! I was furious at such casual and unprofessional customer care attitude and i asked him to let me speak to a senior manager. I hope there are call record which can be checked on how long i was made to hold and in which language he spoke with me. And i strongly request you to please check the number of phone calls i have made in the last 4 weeks and the average waiting time i have been put on to. Mr ag kept on insisting that no senior is available and kept saying that he will "let me know later" about the "expected" delivery.
All this vagueness was despite the team confirming a week before that the product would be finally delivered over the weekend of 6/7 october. I had planned my weekend and my weekly travel — after receiving confirmation from their team that the product would be delivered over that weekend. But the height of apathetic attitude was the last straw i have ever come across from any service provider.
I do not know how woodenstreet aims to establish its brand, in this age where customer views and online image are so important. But i would like to see their path, given the team they have.
I thus informed the team of cancellation of my order if they were not able to deliver the product by sunday 7 october. I asked them for refund of my payment. However, despite being unable to deliver or give me any clarity on when the product would be delivered (Even after 7 weeks) — the team said i can not cancel the order and no refund would be provided!!!
I have thus no option but to pursue this in the consumer court along with putting the details of my experience and chat histories on social media.
This is just my last attempt to get some justice, despite being a prompt and co-operative customer. There has to be some way for such companies to be penalized and compensate for delay and mental harassment.

Hi, i have ordered a table in wooden street. (Order is 38610). Before placing the order, the sales man told me that the product is available inn stuck and would be delivered in 2 wks.
But after placing the order i got the mail after 3 days that it would be delivered in 3-4wks.
But now 2 wks passed a bbd no one is telling the actual delivery dates.

big delay in delivery and no response

I placed order for 8 furniture items @woodenstreet online store ( order id 30852) on 4th April'18 with the confirmation from sales team that oder will be treated under the catogory "rush order" and will be delivered before the standard delivery schedule at my bangalore address.
After my frequent follow-ups and umpteen no of emails, i didnt receive any proper response or commitment on delivery date. At last, 6 items delivered on 10th June'18 though i got confirmation from different staff that all items are dispatcted.
Now, as per customer care ([protected]@woodenstreet.com), out of 2 remaining, 1 item is packed and another item is sent back to manufacturing unit due to problems in the product.I asked for the escalation details and they said bangalore accounts manager is responsible and will call me back. but never received an email response or call despite my repeated complaints and requests.
I am still waiting for confirmation on cancelation and refund of the delayed orders.

review of their shitshow service
1. I ordered about 12 products from wooden street for my new place early this year.
2. Delivery arrived almost 4 months after order was given. Do take note ppl the negative reviews are all true. I am 99% sure every customer of wooden street will hear about how heavy rains disrupted their production even during the driest of months.
3. I demanded pictures of the products of mine in production in the 3rd month because i started doubting whether they have even begun the manufacturing process. The sales person who very eagerly took my money when i ordered the products only sent me photos after my 3rd or 4th email. Before i got the photos i received i think 3 messages, via email and whatsapp. 1st one highlighted that she was ill so she could not attend my case, second message about her sick relative, the last one really was the best, she is having lunch. Please take note after they collect the cheque somehow the sales people in wooden street think their job is ended.
4. After looking at the photos i immediately rejected 2 items. They totally did not look like the pictures in the website. Once again sales person went missing and after a few days she send me a message educating me on her job scope. Basically it is to take order from client and collect payment.
5. I had to thus call their amazing hotline and an individual from the customer sales dept took down my request for cancellation. I believe he send me an email the very next day telling me they are willing to accept cancellation for 1 product but not for the other.
6. They were willing to accept cancellation for 1 of them because the difference between what they made was totally different from what i had ordered. I am not talking about design or dimensions. It was completely different.
7. The other they were not willing because according to him the ‘product is correct though it might not look like the furniture in the website’.
8. I just politely told him, i did not pay for surprises. Later i got an email confirming cancellation for both. They were willing to cancel because i only paid 80% upfront and 20% on delivery. So to those who after reading what i have to say still wish to purchase from woodenstreet, please take note that their policy of 100% upfront is [censored].
9. Finally delivery date. I was informed by a totally different person from whoever i talked to before, on the very day that they have scheduled to deliver that evening. I asked him who did you schedule with and how can you decide all by yourself that i must drop everything and be ready for your delivery when i am informed at 1 pm. After about 5 calls to the sales person, delivery person and the customer service support person delivery was scheduled for a different date. Please take note as a customer you have to do this all by yourself.
10. Delivery arrived on sunday and unfortunately i had to reject another rubbish product after assembly. I looked at the delivery guy, printed out the image of what i ordered and asked him, does this [censored] look like the picture. And yet again another employee from wooden street educated me on their job scope, “i deliver and assemble only”. Again i had to make tons of phone calls to request for revised amount after taking into account the latest cancellation. After about 1.5 hours of calls and waiting the delivery quoted me a different amount from the sales person. I literally screamed at the sales person and once again she educated me about how lucky i am because she normally strictly does not work on sundays. Even paying balance amount is a problem.
11. Conclusion: 3 cancelled pieces out of 12 ordered. From woodenstreet, you can be sure 25% will be completely what you did not order. Out of the 9 remaining pieces, i am happy with 6 of them. The other 3 i have to learn to compromise to live with, as i am out of energy to argue with them. So net net you can safely say you will be happy with only 50% of what you ordered. And i would like to remind everyone i did not do any customization. Its amazing that an online shop can’t even get their products made as per their pictures that they have displayed in their website.
12. Sales person is the most useless i have seen. Only concerned for commission. I have met many sales people in my life but never have i met a sales staff who suffers from constant inertia. After collecting the money she becomes a teacher and educates you on why she cannot do anything about everything.
13. Many people have reviewed that woodenstreet suffers from a lot of internal miscommunication. The truth is they do not communicate at all. Every department behaves as though they have their own immigration counter and you have to go through a security check every step of the way.
14. Final point – do not pay 100% upfront. If you do and you try to get a refund you would now have to face their infamous try our best to never refund dept.
I sincerely hope that wooden street will tell the truth in their about us page.

3. Our delivery scheduling is last minute and at our convenience, not yours.
4. You have to wait 100 days minimum we lie about the 5 – 7 weeks estimated delivery. If you believe it you are a fool.

I have bought one wooden table online from wooden street. Product is not as it was described during order. Product has following defects :
1. There are attachments showing that all six legs of table and rack are made of jointed double piece wood (Two wooden bars having size 2.0 inch x 1.0 inch size are fixed by fevicoal to make two inch thick legs instead o[censored]sing single solid wood of 2.5 inch x 2.5 inch bar (Pics attached).
2. Size of table parts are as under:-
Leg size (Width x hieght) - 2 inch x 2 inch (Made up of two jointed bars)
Table top - 1.0 inch thickness
Shelf thickness - 0.5 inch
Partition thickness - 0.5 inch
Whereas size of table parts proposed by firm during order was
The leg size - 2.5 inch x 2. 5 inch
Table top thickness - 1.5 inch
Shelf thickness - 1 inch
Partition thickness - 1.5 inch
In view of above discrepancies, it is very much clear that:
1. Material is not as per size agreed before supply of material.
2. Wood used for table/rack legs is not as per manufacturing standards.
3. Time taken in manufacturing is more than committed while taken order.
After so many reminders, they are not ready to refund my money. Kindly handle my case honestly and judiciously.

Product ordered with order id 22551.
Did not receive it as it was supposed to be. Asked the customer care executives to take it back and refund but they always say management has to take the decision.
It's been 10 days now and they are going nowhere.
We complained about the defect and all they did was rotate the defective piece.
No resolution provided from day one.
And they don't accept the return as well.
If an email add is provided can share the photo the system is not accepting the size

Deficiency in product and service

I'm raising this after repeated calls to the support channel over the past 3 months! The product I received against my order number 13300 was defective and I immediately raised a flag with a lengthy mail and photographs.
Firstly it was a delayed shipment and after multiple follow-ups I get it delivered. What got delivered was not what I expected, and despite multiple requests to fix some obvious damages I'm yet to get them address the issues.

I have ordered for a shoe rack which was received after 3 months and it was defective and now its been 6 months now and still my issue is not resolved. Never order from here

Respected sir, i lalit betala from chennai, i ordered a cot on online service, company name ( woodenstreet ) the order date was on 01/12/2016 and delivery period time was within 5 to 7 weeks, but the company failed to do that, and every day i get a call that today they will send, but they fail to do that, and i have payed them by my icici credit card on emi scheme, they have deducted money from my account, and till date ( 20/02/17 ) i have not received the material, please help me on this matter, my order id no is : 13893 .

Ordered a coffee table online not knowing this online company has a bunch of chests.product substandard.need to get a total refund.anyonevwho has succeeded in taking this company to task please help.hard earned money down the drain.we should not let this happen to us indians.cheating in broad daylight light.please help
