Tower D - non lockable leasing
My parents and I hold 2 non-lockable units for which Viridian has given possession by may 2020 but they have not been able to put it on lease. Viridian staff is also not giving us any clarity or information on when the units will be put on lease. To add to this, we are being charged maintenance fees for the last 2 years without any sight of the income.
Please help. What is the way out here. I was hoping that these kind of issues won't have happened in PM Modi's pet project. But sad to say that the investor experience has been terrible.

Going through the same issue. Being forced to pay the maintenance and bo sign of lease. So much investment is stuck in the project. All false assurances.

I have purchased in April'2015 1225 SQ Ft in tower B 7th floor (unit No:0711) in WTC Gift city, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad.
The company had confirmed paying us assured returns/interest from the date when we start making the payments until the project is completed.
The project was due to be completed in september'21, which has now been delayed and the company has stopped making any assured Return payments since.
The total amount of the property has been paid up from our side and even after numerous E-mails/phone calls there is no response from the company.

I think you should connect to the developer directly instead of writing these stuff here on public forums. This won't help. I had faced this issue as well for a brief period of time, And i contacted them directly. And to my surprise, they helped me out as well. I wrote them on connect.wtcnoida.org. I think you should also write to them with all your details. And please let me know when your problem is resolved. I would be happy to know. :)

Wtc gift b tower
Company has extend the date of completion of the project to 2023 and for the AR if is not paid there will pay with interest (SBI FD INTEREST OF 1 YEAR RATE) i.e. 4%, company has made a backup plan.
CAN COMPANY CHANGE THE AGGREEMT COPY WITHOUT INVESTER APPROVAL
the investor has to SUFFER (meaning in Hindi and English) still 2023 to complete the project

Invested in Tower C last year. Concerned by lack of progress on the ground. I see lack of progress on Tower B too.
I may just seek a refund on my amount minus whatever cost.

Delay of Possession and Assured return
I would like to bring to complaint against the WTC Gift City, . I booked in July 2016 the office space in Tower B with Booking ID GCB/01601/16-17 unit 04S2. The issues are as below
1. The due date of the Possession was in 2018 which is continuously being delayed. Although the projects started after this project got completed till now.
2. We were enrolled in the plan of assured return(AR) for the amount deposited. Initially the payment of AR was received on time but then they started delaying to the extent that they stopped payment. They gave us the option of adjusting the AR Amount against our payment due for one year and after one year we can get the 50% amount of AR.
we received AR for only one month. now it has been 6 months that they have not given us the AR amount.
Till today we are pursuing WTC employees on daily basis but WTC has become shameless.
We invested in the WTC project considering that it is the Dream project of Our Honorable Prime Minister but the company is proving himself as fraud and the name of whole Gift City is defamed.
It seems they are not accountable to anyone. It is kindly requested to intervene to give justice to so many people who invested this amount assuming it as safe real asset option.
If the big companies like WTC will be a fraud then how the people of India can believe and invest in the infrastructure of India.

We have not received our interests due since July 2021.
Several communications have not been of any help.

I have book 1 unit wtc B tower and it was about to complete by 2018 as the payment is given but still 2021 project is not completed and now the assured return also stop and there is not update form the company about work process of tower

On 04.10.2021 I have booked my complaint against WTC on https://pgportal.gov.in ( Portal managed directly by the PMO). It is kindly requested to complain there also so the the voice of many people is heard collectively

Non payment of monthly dues since February 2020
We have invested in gift city tower B wherein it was agreed for an assured monthly return on the invested amount. This assurance was the sole purpose of our investment. But now the developer have failed to make payment s since February 2020. When we communicated with them they said they were unable to do so because of the lockdown but with the assurance that as soon as their office becomes functional after the lockdown they would be able to do so. But now they are wanting us to agree to their migration plan which is very one-sided and not suitable to us and hence not making any payments due to us as agreed by them while entering into an agreement and after having promptly received the investment instalments from us as and when demanded. How can they stop our payments and force us to accept their migratory proposal not suitable to us?

I have invested in gift city, gandhinagar since 2014 into 2 offices (Tower-b) and one studio apartment (Tower-c). Until jan 2020 i was getting my assured returns which was in the agreement for all 3 units but all were delayed by 20-25 days. But unfortunately right now i have still not received my assured returns for the month of feb 2020 and inspite of several reminders/request sent to them, there has been no response from them. All the towers have been delayed in handover and i think the company viridian is running in big financial crisis. I don't understand what is rera doing in this case as lots of people have registered complaints against them but no action has been taken so far.

Until today nothing is received by any of the WTC Gift city. I understand similiar status to other WTC in Noida. Case must be filed

I had invested in 2 offices in wtc gift, gandhinagar in 2014 and was informed that the handover will be in oct 2018 but until now i have not received the handover and there is no update from the developer when it will be handed over. The construction work has stopped from last 6 months and it seems that the developer has no funds to complete the project. Iam surprised that why rera is not taking any action against the developer for their delay.
