I, booked 4 tickets of Alliance air flight 9I-698 from Prayagraj to New Delhi on 21st Aug, for travel on 3rd Sept, Booking Reference Number[protected]
After making payment of Rs. 17, 938/- by Net Banking. I received a message that “booking could not be done and 'The amount of Rs. 17, 938.00 has been refunded as eCash to your yatra account [protected]@gmail.com successfully! You can use this eCash now to continue with your booking. Login & Continue Booking”
When I tried to book the same flight again within a minute to use the e-cash, yatra site came up with message that price of tickets have been raised by Alliance air by Rs 2500 /-.
I then booked tickets for same flight on Make My Trip for Rs 17707/- within next 2 minutes.
This is a big scam run by cheats at Yatra.com
1. Yatra.com is luring the customers to deposit their refund money in e-cash on pretext of fast returns (otherwise by net banking they will return money in 2-3 days) and additional e cash of paltry Rs 200.
2. When you try to book a ticket using e-cash they jack up the price artificially to dupe & rob the unsuspecting customer.
3. You can not transfer e-cash (even your own money) to your bank account,
4. If you book the ticket using this e-cash, they will loot you by artificial increase in prices.
5. if you do not want to pay artificially increased price and this e-cash is going to expire in 3 month.
Beauty of this scam is that Your own money has been converted to e cash by the company and this will be gobbled up by them, if you do not have to travel in 3 months or if you do not want to pay artificially increased price.
It is a shame that a company claiming to be premier online travel agency and travel search engine has stooped so low that it has started conning the customers and stealing their money in the name of faster returns and peltry additional e-cash.
Yatra.com should be banned and strict legal action should be taken by consumer courts and Government of India.

I have booked the flight ticket yesterday night from yatra.com for mumbai to bhavnagar for 12th oct but due to some reasons i want to reschedule it for 13th oct... I m nt getting any response from the airlines and also through yatra site i m unable to do it... So what i should do... I have called several times to the airlines... They r jst telling me we will give you a call... I waited up to 1.00am at night but they did not call and in the morning when i called up again the same answer is given to me... This is ridiculous.. My booking will be wasted if it doesn’t get rescheduled for tomorrow
