Sunday...yesterday we traveled from thanjavur to chennai

From starting from thanjavur ac not worked...it was so suffocating..we complained, they told wait.
Till kumbakonam we adjusted, then half of the bus, stopped the bus, we got down due to suffocation, they tried some thing, but nothing rectified.
They asked to adjust till ulundurpet...then they will ask to go in any other having tickets br...

High cost ticket-Bus Poor maintenance &Poor response no compensation for YBM'S failure

Had a worst Experience travelling from Chennai to Coonoor as the bus was very old with no good maintenance it seemed. Self starter did not work so passengers had to push the bus to start, front windshield was with cracks. This bus ticket that was costly not a value for money or the Bus was Not worthy for money. The MD of the bus said, "sorry" on my call on 6th December 2023, which would not pain him much as already he got the money and no loss to him because of the poor conditioned bus. Passengers are taken for granted to earn their profits. The money what he earned from the bus was at the cost of passengers. If he is reasonable, some compensation should be given to those who lost their time and missed their appointments like me which costed a lot to them.
The Bus got 1st breakdown around 2 am and ran without AC suffecating until Ulunthurpet, it was said that dynona did not work and waited for about three hours outside bus at night. After 2 hours we were told that a spare bus has been arranged (not true it seemed but to make to make the passengers calmer. The MD said, it was a mistake or wrong information by YBM's customers support center) so the driver asked the passengers to get down. After getting down no spare bus came so our bus TN05CC1955 was repaired and we traveled by the same poorly maintained bus. After 2 hours of running the bus from Ulunthurpet after replacing the dynamo, the bus was stopped because one of the back tires bursted - 2nd breakdown. The tire was a retread tire. When I spoke to the MD of YBM he mentioned that the tire was due for change and he was responsible for not changing when reported but he blamed the driver saying that he did not drive carefully. Thus again we were delayed because of replacement of tire. So in total the bus was late by around 4 plus hours to reach Coonoor. I was told by another passenger that the bus was used by her family recently and it broke down so the passengers were sent by other bus. Thus YBM uses a bus which is not in good condition though it has run on hills which is a high risk to the passengers. High cost ticket, No proper communication to the customers and poor maintenance and rude response by one of the drivers are some of the problems faced in the bus TN05CC1955 on 4 Dec 2023. Important meeting has been missed. No compensation financially.

Poor Maintainence of YBM Travel Bus From Tenkasi - Chennai
Very worst Experience travelling from tenkasi to chennai as the bus was very old with no suspension. I have developed collar neck pain and sprain on my hip. It is Very Old Bus Not worthy for money.

I left my jacket while traveling from vellakani to bangalore on 07 July when I called to check they immediately said it's not there coz they didn't wanted to wait.thy said someone would have taken in but the can't b as it was sleeper complete dark. Jacket n their blanket was same color n no one can c at all. They cheated on me

Travel agent speaking arrogant manner
Waiting at the pick up point for the traveling of Chennai to Coimbatore . Due to Registered Mobile Network issue contacted through some other mobile for the pick up follow up past two hours before travelling . They not picked me and left with out picking from the boarding point. requested for the refund for non travelled ticket but speaking arrogant manner

AC is not working
Travelling from visakhapatnam to chennai on 27th May 2022 in bus AP39TC 5398 YBM Travels, AC is not working from the midnight around 1AM, company is not giving proper response or alternate solution, still they are running the bus without AC, no air circulation in the bus, standing near front door to get breath.

Very Worst experience ever
We booked ticket to Kerala on may 27th at 7pm.But we got struck in traffic and informed the driver the same.They too waited for 10mins as per our conversation.but when we were about to reach the spot they started moving without informing us.when we tried calling them they didn’t pick it up and then we tried from another number and spoke to them and we asked for where we have to come and get the bus.?but the response was we will not stop anywhere you have to come and chase as to places like chengalpat, vilupuram etc and then he told if you reach us also we won’t stop.Then we tried calling the YBM office and spoke to a representative he too answered like them and didn’t help us to reach the spot.From both the end they were not updating the spot.All of a sudden It started raining heavily Holding my 1 year I was roaming and chasing like a mad person.I apologise for the time we reached but I already apologiesed to them that we are for coming late and told them to consider.We paid around 5k and for the auto charge we paid aroun 1k because of this bloody driver and your irresponsible representative.And they blocked us to not reach them anymore.We we’re travelling in YBM from last few years and I have never experienced this kinda situation ever in our life.Very bad and very worst experience from your end.We never gonna travel in this bus anymore and will not suggest to anyone too.I want my amount to be refunded within 3-4 working days or else I am ready to file a case.Awaiting response from your end or be ready to face the consequences.Will tag your brand in social media and update the same if you are not responding or not refunding my money

I booked the bus from Nellore to Visakhapatnam on 18.05.2022 through abhibus for an important official work. I was informed the bus is delayed by 1 hour and i came near to boarding point as it is Highway. I called the driver 2 to 3 times and the call is not answered. For the last call he said he is moving and not wait for a minute.
I have not recived any call that the bus is arrived the station and answered rudely about waiting and not given atleast 2 minutes grace to reach the bus. I tried to catch the bus and chased around 10km to board on but the driver for co operated instead of negligence

Four days before i booked ticket in YBM travels in them own website. They debited money from my account, when the day is coming to travelling i got email from YBM travels, that said "We received the your payment but unable to confirm PNR#:xxxxxx and Rs.xxxx refund initiated successfully" but till now not received my money back, if contact the office they not responding. They not ready to give my money bcck. They entire system very worst, Government authorities must be take necessary action to this kind of travels agencies.

Government bus speed 80 or 90, even get down my seat am telling I have go to urgent move fast. You don't teach me how to drive if you want urgent getdown and get another bus telling that why paying my money for the traveling. Night boarding time 8:30pm half hours late. You can't take over the that time waste

Extra Charges demanded by the Driver

I travelled by YBM Travels on 22nd October 2021 from Marthandam to Chennai. I carried a Cardboard box with plantains in it and asked the driver to open the luggage box for which he initially demanded INR 150 and later at the dropping point, he demanded INR 200/-.
The driver's behaviour was indeed ridiculous. The cleaner also behaved uncouth.
They were greedy. YBM has a legacy please don't spoil it...

Not worthy seat provided for the amount of Rs.1125/-
We have booked ticket online on today(21/03/21) from Tanjore to Chennai vide ticket number YBMB595085, 10 pm bus for the amount of Rs.1155/-. Immediately your office people called and said our 10 pm bus canceled due to break down and they have allotted another bus. That bus seat conditions and atmosphere was very worster than ordinary bus... please reply immediately why’re treats like that.. i[censored] not resolved this issue we will escalate this issue through consumer court..

While climbing inside the bus they are asking luggage charge rs. 200 which is not worth am having only one laptop bag and (small box wt abt 5-6kg ) it's a box so I need to charge. Which is not acceptable .while booking the ticket we included for insurance of luggage and person then why I need to pay extra charge. I booked the ticket via redbus app

Actually i booked a ticket for 4th april 2019
From thanjavur to chennai..
Seats numbers are 19 & 20.
I booked for 10.30pm from thanjavur to chennai.
Last day i got a call that 10.30 bus has been cancelled. So, kindly we changed to 10pm bus.
We asked the seat
We agreed and said okay for that.
Next day again i got a call from ybm, (I mean the travelling date),
Afternoon around 12pm
First call i received that my seat number was 16 and 17.
Second call that it was, they asked me to change a seat, to 26 &27 (Exactly last seat) bcoz there is some old age person is gonna to travel, we politely replied that, sorry we can't..
Bcoz she got operated in spine and she is travelling with my son.
We clearly tell that, we can't change and all..
The lady who spoke from ybm said
Okay madam, we look for some other alternatives. If she clearly tell that (U have to travel on that 26&27) we definitely cancelled the ticket.
But the current day, i dropped my wife and son at 10pm, the bus started from thanjavur, they went and sat on their birth 16 &17. The guy who checked the seats doesn't even tell anything. The bus moved to the place called ammapettai from that place some boarding is there,
I got a call from my wife that the guy who having chart in bus told my wife to change the seat from 16 & 17 to 26 & 27 at midnight around 11.30pm who is in sleep.
She told that she clearly informed the person who spoke from ybm. The guy who is having chart told that as per chart i made u to seat. I can't do anything. U have to speak to customer care.
Even my wife told that you have to inform us earlier at 10pm when we start boarding in thanjavur. The guy spoke rudely that it's not my work to check and all. The passenger has to check their seats and have to sit.
See if he tell us it's their seats at the time of boarding, we cancelled both the tickets.
The way he treats the passenger is worst,
Moreover at mid of the night, he told us to change the seats, and he told to contact customer care.
We booked at 10.30 for the seats of 19, 20
We changed to 10.00 for the seats of 16, 17

Even we said we can't change with seats.
Actually we are the regular customer
Of ybm bcoz of cleanliness and all,
We never expected this type of response from them,
So please accept my representation regarding complaint issues, as per guidance issues by consumer court by govt of india, if failing which i will be constrained to initiate a write jurudiction to the consumer court.

This is my second time travel to ybm agency ...2 time there service is toooooo much bad...i said marako susu AIA ha but the driver was cant stop the bus ...i said maney tme to bus driver marako susu AIA ha ...but there ignoreing my words ..this is serves of ybm cheee ...i report of this agency in police

rash driving /my mother injured

Date 18th dec 2018. Madurai to chennai 11 am sleeper coach : we had a very bad experience today dt. 18th dec with ybm day service sleeper coach. The driver of the bus was keeping on applying sudden brakes. Was speeding between 95 to 102 km/hr. My mother had taken lower berth number l15 and my wife with kid were in u28 and u28. My kid was having his lunch and my other went to get the empty box. She was holding the upper berth metal rod. Fraction of second she was thrown away from 3rd berth to 1st berth near the door. She felt down and just got dragged since the driver applied a sudden brake when he was in 90 to 100 km per hr. Such a rash driving and when asked the cleaner replied saying an auto came in between. No sorry from the driver. The co passengers helped and shouted. Thaank god she just got escaped from the scratches from the mat they use. As soon as we reached home i called up the head office and they took this issue very lightly and said we will check with the driver. I didn't shout or argue with the driver because he had to drive all the way and there are other passengers too did not want to take risk.
Second they stop for lunch only around 2:45 pm to 3pm where the hotel food is very very pathetic and they charge 100 rs for one meal. Better to avoid this bus service in future. The movie was played for just 20 minutes and the monitor displayed no network error. Later we complained no action was taken.
The only request is drive slow and avoid sudden braking. Respect elderly aged people. Please do stop for lunch between 1- 1:30 pm. People can be diabetic, or bp patients.
Second they stop for lunch only around 2:45 pm to 3pm where the hotel food is very very pathetic and they charge 100 rs for one meal. Better to avoid this bus service in future. change of bus & difference amount not refunded
Nov 9, i booked 2 tickets in sleeper coach to travel from chennai to coimbatore.in the last minute ybm called me and told that the bus broke down and we will be accomodated in semi sleeper bus and the difference of amount, a little more than 500 per ticket will be transferred back to the same account from which we booked our tickets. Till date they have not refunded the money every time i call they give me different numbers & ask me to call and find the status. Yesterday i went to their office directly then they told me that they will let me know the status today. Today when i called they tell me that they had instructed their staff to refund the money on the same day itself. I was shocked and they are asking me the details of their staff who told that the money will be transferred. How will i know their staff details, it their job to find out. Till date they have not informed me the difference of amount i'll receive & when i'll receive. A very bad & stressful experience. Ybm management has to interfere & solve the issue u for me

I booked 2 tickets for my aged parents from urapakkam to thanjavur. The boarding point we booked was at urapakkam and the boarding time they gave us was 11:30 pm. They will provide a driver no which he will never attend. He stopped the bus 1 km away from the pickup point and asked them to come there for boarding. Since it was the middle of the night, no autos were available and they walked the distance. On boarding the bus my father enquired why the driver did not stop at the boarding point for which the driver used foul language and asked to do whatever we can. Before we called the customer care he already phoned them and told that my mother waved a slipper at him. The customer care guy pretended like nothing happened and advised me to teach manners to my mother who happens to be a headmaster. After boarding they also did not provide the water bottle they usually give. Worst experience ever having booked the ticket for high price and also feeling very embarrassed. I will never book ybm travels ever in my life and urge those with self respect not to do so.

lost my wallet
I traveled from chennai to trichy on sleeper bus. When i was waiting for bus in my stop driver went without stopping in my stop. I called him immediately and he asked us to come to next stop the time already 11.30. Then i went to next stop in auto and boarded bus. When i got down at trichy i checked my wallet was missing (I m sure i had it after i boarded bus). So immediately i called driver and asked him to wait at next stop and i reached there in auto but couldn't find my wallet. One thing i noticed was before i get down i did not fold my bedsheet but when i went to search my wallet it was neatly folded. Driver said me that he will search completely after reaching madurai he was very polite and genuine. I called him again after two hours that is after they reach madurai helper boy attended the call and he was very harsh and asked me to give a police complaint. I had all my id proofs in my wallet atleast i need that. Help me in getting that.

I took a bus journey from Chennai to Salem. The bus didn't stop at salem and they dropped me at perundurai toll which is 90 km away. Bus driver told me ybm will refund my cab fare if I contact them later.

i am complaint about the facility of the bus given by ybm travels

I booked my ticket in ybm travel for journey from chennai to vytella. When i booked my ticket it include all luxary facilities and the coast are included for that same and during my journey i wont got the facility and the maintanace of the bus is not good in my seat tv and personal light is not working and the when i ask the helper he tell me that he will offer another seat this is not acceptable when i booked my seat i use to book for my convention and i hope that that the facility given by the ybm travels will be satisfied but i won't get and my comfortable and money are wasted on this travel.

worst service
Worst guys, they used to be very good, they have a technique of saying ac is not working if the bus is not full and make u to change the bus, they will stop the other ybm bus on the way and will request you to go in that bus, if you have booked a single seat then you have to adjust in double, i have already gave a complaint to redbus, but there is no response and it happened to me third time, please avoid this bus i[censored] r planning to reach ur destination on time

lost wallet from the bag
Dear sir,
I had travelled from coonoor to chennai on 31 aug 2017 in the seat no: 24 in the bus no: py05c1671. My ticket no: was tk9u39225766 and pnr: was ybm315480. I lost my wallet with cash ₹2700, my identity cards and debit cards. I spoke to the given contact number, but the wallet was not found. If not money, i'd at least need my identity cards. Please help me find them.
