Cafe Coffee Day — Expired food item delivered

Dear Sir/Madam,

I placed an order from CCD, Malleswaram, Bangalore this afternoon through Amazon Food app. Order reference: D[protected].

I received an expired Mango Maniac Shot and unfortunately, I noticed the dates only after consuming the product. The date of manufacture is: 05/03/2021 (since the product was manufactured in Uttarakhand, India, I read it following the standard convention, 5th March, 2021) and the product was supposed to be consumed within 6 months from the date of manufacture. Please see photographs attached.

When I wrote to the customer care, the email did not get delivered saying that the mailbox was full. I messaged them on Facebook. They sent a very casual apology reply and asked me for my contact details to do internal checks.

I do not think that I need to highlight the gravity of the matter.
