City Cool Cab Complaints & Reviews

I’m Mrs. Mary Fernandes. This is not the first time I have boarded any cab. I’m a regular traveler in cools cabs and always book my cabs from Easy cabs. On 14/9/2011 I took a cab from Goregoan hypercity Mall to go back home to Mira Road. The driver of the cab said that he would be charging toll both ways. We agreed and sat down.
It was a 50 mins drive back to Mira road. The meter showed at the end of the journey a fare of Rs 700. I always go from mira road to malad and back and it takes just Rs. 270 maximum one way and if toll included it takes Rs. 300.
The cab driver started arguing very badly and would not listen. Ultimately we had to shell out Rs. 500 and he left then.
I want to raise a complain against the cab whose number is MH 01 JA 8661. I’m sure the meter is defaulted and if not corrected he would be exploiting the consumers in a similar fashion. Since I travel regularly I know how much the fare should be and hence caught him red-handed.

I phoned up Taxi Seva Sanstha’s Call Cool Cab (Address: 2, Amar Estate, First Floor, B Cross Road, JB Nagar, MIDC, Andheri (East), Mumbai – 400 059) for dropping me from my Santacruz (West) residence [602, Popular Apartment; 37, Tagore Road, Santacruz(W), Mumbai -54] on 13th January evening. The drop was required for 14th January 2011. The cab was required to report at 04:30 AM.

I was given a confirmation (Ref: 3520) and assured that a cab will pick me up at 4:30 am. At 03:45 am, I got a call from the driver (Name – Shailesh) who was allocated to pick me up from his mobile number [protected]. His car number is MH 01 AM 2123. I gave him directions to reach my house and he promised to come to my residence by 4:25 am. The driver did not report as promised even by 4:30 am. I spoke to Call Cool Cab’s office[protected]. A person by name Sahil picked up the phone and promised to revert to me in two minutes. Unfortunately, neither the driver nor Sahil reported. The driver Shailesh’s phone was ringing and was not picked up. Since, a promise made by both Call Cool Cab and the driver were broken, I was put to extreme pressure and undue tension.

I bring to your notice that I had very bad experience with COOL cab service from Domestic airport terminal 1B
I landed from Ahmedabad on 25th May and I took a cool cab and he promised to go by Meter and I agreed , From Airport we went to POWAI , BKC and South Mumbai ,
His meter showed Rs. 2,100/- I was shocked to see this meter reading , and than he showed me rate card which showed such exorbitant fares., I am sure this was fake,
When I asked for receipt he refused to give and started shouting and demanding for all the money , As I had some appointment I had no choice but to pay him,
I was shocked to have such incidence in city of Mumbai where people travel from all across India and world and such services are given to guest ,
I just managed to take no. of CAB (Cool Cab) MH 01 JA 8547,

I will be happy if oyu could take some action against such taxi driver who is spoiling the name of our city and Country.

i searched for cool cabs on internet and got a message of cool cab vendors. A cab was booked with one of them at 21:34 hrs on 18/04/10. after that i called the person named Vishal ([protected]), almost 5 times in the night for confirming the status of the cab and everytime i was told that it will be made availiable at 5am as i had flight at 5:55am on 18/04/10.i asked for the details of the cab driver and cab, which were sent via message at 23:28 hrs.

I called the driver([protected])in the morning at around 4:36 am and asked him to make sure that he reaches at pick up point on time.i once again called he at 5:06 am and he said it will take 3 mins. After this he didnot even picked my call and then at 5:18am , i called the person who booked the cab , visahl and told him that cab has not reached yet.he said it is about to reach. I without wasting anymore time ,took a auto from vikroli west to Domestic Airport at around 05:25 am. Then, also i missed the flight.

After i missed the flight i called up Vishal, the person who booked the flight, he didnot even pick my call for 3 times and informed him that i missed the flight.He replied saying the cab driver was not able to search home.

Today I have traveled from Domestic Airport till Inorbit Malad in the City Cool Cab (Blue & Silver). The Driver's name is K. Khalid & TAXI No is MH04-F8847.

The driver has charged me Rs.900 for this travel whcih took hardly 20 min. He has even shown me a pre-paid card of that amount. When i resisted to pay he threated me and being a girl i was left with no choice but to pay.

I have taken a receipt of the same as a proof.

Request a resolution to my problem as soon as possible.
