I placed 2 orders on April 8th, 2022. (Total item value ~4200)
- Order #1 had 9 items
- Order #2 had 4 items
On April 20th, I returned Order #1 (9 items) and order #2(2 items).
Since there was no pickup service provided, I couriered the items (paid 700rs - via DTDC. I paid for secure courier since i had heard of clovia's item mishandling earlier too).
Item is received at warehouse a couple of days later (22nd April). It takes clovia's warehouse a month to confirm the receipt of couriered item. Almost a month later(after several mail threads and calls with customer care), clovia informs that 1 items out of Order #1 is missing therefore a refund of Rs3949 is provided in wallet (minus price of 1 missing item).
I transfer amount from wallet to bank. Transfer does not happen. I raise a complaint. Rs 3621 is added in wallet (now 2 items are missing).
I'm assured that issue will be resolved in 48 hrs. I transfer Rs3621 to bank. Only Rs 1353 is credited to account. I raise a complaint again. After several complaints and calls, Clovia acknowledges taht its their backend issue among other issues, promises to resolve in 24 hrs. Assures that pending amount will be credited to bank account directly. Its been 2 weeks now. I have been calling their customer care relentlessly but all i hear is "Your issue has been escalated and will be resolved in 24 hours".
I have called the customer care over 50 times in the last 3 months, dropped over 20 emails. My money is yet to be refunded. I havent even raised a concern about missing items, that is another issue that I intend to address after the items they have acknowledged as received, is refunded. Was this information helpful? |
