ONE AND HALF AGO i have taken a 10 years membership with Rangers Club Pvt Ltd based in Noida. In 2022 FEBRUARY, they committed they said they will offer Luxury hotels 4star/5star property in every holiday. Their Sales Manager Mr. Imran and Ms. Savita were so confident that they go extra mile to give the best of the best accommodations and they have ties hum in more than 100 Cities in India and 70 countries.
Several times I tried to contact mr. Imran but failed.We have written several times for cancellation of my membership and refund the amt. paid but they have denied to cancel the same.

      I, Applicant VIMAL SURYKANT NAVSUPE, reference to certificate folio No.[[protected] Dated[protected].
      Under above referred certificate Folio Number, I have invested my amount of Rs.50520/- in your company under the scheme of RELAX HOLIDAY and received the certificate under the same scheme from the company, Which got matured on 30TH, DECEMBER, 2016 and the maturity amount stands at Rs.70560/- is payable by the company.

      As required by the Pan card Ltd office I have submitted my original Certificate., but very sorry to say that till date I have not received my maturity amount of Rs. 50520/-which was invested in Pan Card Club Ltd. Under RELAX Holiday Scheme.

        At the time of booking they didn't tell us about AMC. But now again and again they are demanding AMC from us while we haven't gone anywhere for 4-5 years

          COMPLAINT UNDER SECTION 35 OF THE CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT, 2019
          The Complaintant must humbly submits as follows:
          1. The address of the Complainant for the purpose of notices, process, etc. is that of its counsels, Vardhaman V Gunjal, Avani Vijayan & Skanda Arunkumar Advocates, having their office at, No. 9, Model House Street, Basavanagudi, Bengaluru – 560 004. Ph: (+91) [protected]; [protected]@gmail.com
          2. The Complainant is CEO of Cathartic Ventures Pvt Ltd and a Taj Inner Circle Silver Club member had booked a suit in the Opposite Party’s Hotel on __________. The Complainant had booked a suit for 7 days and had paid the advance booking. The Opposite Party is a 5 star hotel situated in Bengaluru and is managed by Taj groups. Known for its hospitality, the Complainant deicide to book a hotel. The Complainant had chosen to stay in the Opposite party hotel has his house was under renovation.
          3. The Complainant was very particular in choosing the Opposite Party (Hotel) as the Opposite party had explicitly informed that their Hotel was a pet friendly hotel and was ready to accommodate pets in their hotel room. On the promise made by the Opposite Party, the Complainant bought his new born pet dog which was around 45 days.
          4. The Complainant submits that, his pleasant stay came to an end when his pet dog was found missing, since his pet was a new born, the Complainant panicked and searched the entire lobby and room. The Complainant informed the Front desk and was returning back to his room. The Complainant to his utter shock and surprise, the Complainant found out that Hotel staff and management had barged into the room without prior permission or authorization from the Complainant.
          5. The Complainant further submits that, his dog was later found but the Hotel management refused to extend the Complainant’s stay. The complainant further submits that, his initial stay was scheduled for around 7 days but the Hotel has unilaterally terminated his stay. When the same was questioned, he was met with resistance and he was told to approach the Jurisdictional Police Station if the Complainant had any issues.
          6. The Complainant submits that, when the Complainant and the Representative from the Opposite side approached the Jurisdictional Police Station, he was told to settle the matter amicable and sent off. The Complainant further submits that, when he returned to the Opposite Party (Hotel) he was utterly shocked and surprise at the treatment meted out to him. The Complainant further submits that, all the belongings of the Complainant was packed in a gunny bag and thrown out of his room. The Opposite party had not taken any prior permission to enter the Complainant’s room nor did they take permission to pack the belongings of the Complainant.
          7. The Complainant’s stay was abruptly ended without giving any explanation. When the Complaint raised this issue to the management, they failed to provide any alternative accommodation and was thrown out. The Complainant had to plead the Management for transportation accommodation as they had thrown the Complainant out of the hotel in the middle of the night.
          8. The Complainant was left with no other choice but to return back to his house, which was under renovation. With no place to sleep, the Complainant was forced to sleep on the floor with no other option. The Complainant was deprived of the privileges that he had paid for, keeping in mind that the Complainant was a Taj Inner Circle Silver Club member, which is privileged membership program.
          9. The actions of the Opposite Party are a clear case of Deficiency of service. It is submitted that from the above narration it is clear that the Opposite Party is thus bound by the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (“the Act”) as the Complainant is a ‘consumer’ as defined under Section 2(7)(ii) of the Act. It would be relevant to submit that the significance of the expression of a ‘Consumer’ was defined in the following words in the case of Mergan Stanley Mutual Fund v Kartick Das & Ors. [ (1994) 4 SCC 225]

          The consumer as the term implies is one who consumes. As per the definition, consumer is the one who purchases goods for private use or consumption. The meaning of the word 'consumer' is broadly stated in the above definition so as to include anyone who consumes goods or services at the end of the chain of production. The comprehensive definition aims at covering every man who pays money as the price or cost of goods and services. The consumer deserves to get what he pays for in real quantity and true quality. In every society, consumer remains the center of gravity of all business and industrial activity.

          10. It is submitted that that the Complainant falls under the ambit of a consumer as per Section 2(67)(ii) of the Act
          11. The cause of Action arose on ___________ when the Complainant was thrown out of the Opposite party hotel, without assigning any reason.
          12. The Complainant has been put through severe mental agony and hardship and has faced embarrassment.
          13. The Complainant is a resident of BTM Layout, Bengaluru, Karnataka which is within the jurisdiction of this Hon’ble Forum and therefore, the present Complaint is maintainable.
          14. The Complainant has not filed any other legal proceedings before any other court or authority in respect of the same cause of action.

          PRAYER

          WHEREFORE, the Complainant most humbly prays that this Hon’ble Forum maybe pleased to:

          a) Direct the Opposite Party to reimburse the monetary loss incurred since……………………………….;

          b) Direct the Opposite Party to pay a sum of Rs. 10, 00, 000/- (Rupees Ten Lakhs) towards mental agony and monetary loss incurred due to ………………………………….;

          c) Direct the Opposite Party to pay the cost of this proceedings and grant such other relief(s) as this forum deems fit in the circumstances of the present case, in the interest of justice and equity.

            Hi all,

            This is anand jaiswal and i am also been defrauded by club group. I have already filed a case in consumer court in qutub institutional area to get my money back. However, i can see that there are lot of people like myself and these court proceeding take time. Hence, i am planning to take class action suit against these companies. For this i need atleast 100 people. More number of people would add weight to the case and cost can also be shared. Please whatsapp me at [protected] to form a group and fight the case jointly.

            Let me clarify i am not a lawyer and we need to hire a lawyer to get our money back.

              We have taken membership in 2014 n paid 1 lakh for the same.. Till now they haven't given any membership card and for bookings they always say tht its not included in our list. Now their contact number has also been changed.. I don't know how to contact them.. Most fraudulent company.. I want my total refund. Want to lodge complaint esp against ravi n kabir their employees

                I plan a trip to goa with my 6 friends on 09.08.2019 to 11.08.2019. Fraud no-01
                While i search hotels for goa in (Agoda.com) suddenly i received a sms on my mobile "you have spent rs 31716.32 on agoda.com i don't understand whats wrong. I call agoda for details after a long wait 1 of agoda agent received my call and reply sir the booking is confirm and its a non refundable booking. My only mistake is i saved my credit card details on agoda. Because i am regular traveller and always booked through agoda.com. Rs 31716.32 the amount is out of my budget. After many request for refund agoda nothing to do for me anything. Fraud no-02 the hotel name is (La vie wood resort)

                We are travelling from bhubaneswar to mumbai - goa. Whatever we decided to stay in the booked hotel la vie. We are 7 persons booked 4 rooms for 2 nights. I call the hotel and asking for early checkin. Because our flight land in goa 3.30 am in morning. And 1.5 hour to hotel so i request for early checkin. The hotel staff reply its depend on availability because our check in time after 12pm. On the date 09.08.2019 time 6am we reached the hotel and asking for our booking. Then we all surprised to listen the hotel receptionist word (No stags allowed) in this hotel, they say it's our hotel policy. Sorry to say but i use google for know the meaning of (No stags allowed) i stay more then 100 times in hotel both india and international, nothing to listen this type of policy. No value for request, we are all in goa for first time at 6am morning the hotel not allowed us for check in. I call agoda and described the whole matter and asking for other hotel because the amount rs 31716.32 is very big for us but no value for our request. Our trip is ended before start. After a long journey we are all feel like street dogs. I expected for my refund.

                  This is fraud company with fraud. They have taken my 15k and have given all false comittment like 91 properties/money refund/5 star properties. From last 2 years. I have tried making booking 8-10 times but all request are rejected giving false excuses. They seems to have very few tie ups that too with poor properties. Pls help me to get my money back and don't get trap in this cheating...

                    I am following up from last 2 years regarding my refund. 3 months back i got confirmation email from mountain club that your refund is in process and somebody from mountain club will contact you soon but its been 3 months and nobody contacted me and i am left with no other option and writing down here. Next step is to go to consumer from with the emails. I thought somebody will contact me but no one has courtesy to even reply on emails. i want my hard earned money back at any cost. when you are not giving any services and processed refund then what is the problem in transferring the same to my account ?? crm, delhiccd, timeshare ..all email ID;s were copied in all emails but no one is responding. just want to keep my money.

                      Like others I am also a victim of CGH. My membership shows lifetime validity and no extra charges however when I make booking extra charges are asked and the validity is reduced to 5 years. On asking about the membership authorised by the company they say the employee has mistakenly written lifetime. The employee has left and Noida office is closed. Your booking cannot be made no rooms are available. Membership cannot be cancelled.

                      Sick of this company. I just want my hard earned money back. Please take immediate action against them. They are fraud. None of their numbers are working not responding to emails, phone calls.

                        I have a membership number emmc-0106 in your group.

                        I have placed a holiday booking request on 25th april 2019 and on 30th april i had shared the details of traveler to timesharedelhi ([protected]@ssrpl.com, [protected]@ssrpl.com, [protected]@ssrpl.com, [protected]@ssrpl.com) but till time there are no response came from your side despite a number of chases. Even there are no acknowledgement received.

                        I am trying to contacting[protected]/33/34 and[protected]/80 but none of the numbers are connecting.

                        It is first time after my membership when i planned for a vacation but after so many chaser mail doesn't get any response even no acknowledgement mail has been viewed from the company.

                        Now i want to cancel my membership with the company. Please let me know the process to get back my money.

Ye pehle aap ko phone karke gift coupen ke liye bulate hai phir aap ko apne jaal me phasa kar membership bech dete hai aur kaite hai hamare pass all over india me 35 properties hai. Jabki inke pass sirf 4 properties hai vo bhi utrakahnd me. Membership lene ke baad jab aap booking ke liye phone karte hai to phone uthate nahi hai. Ek doosre ka doosra teesre ka aur teesra chothe ka number deta hai. Aur phir kehte hai booking full hai aur booking delhi se nahi utrakhand se hoti hai. Ye sab fraud hai. Maine 45000 rupai diye aur bari mushkil se nainital ki booking lee aur vaha per dekha ki inhone apne rooms ko travel agents ke through doosre custmers ko rent per room diye huai hai. Mujhe vaha per ek custmer mila jo mp bhopal se aaya tha. Usne mujhe bataya ki usne agent ke thourth booking lee hai. Ye log aap se membership ke naam per hajaro rupai le lete hai aur phir booking ke name per agento ko apne room ki booking de dete hai aur hame membership ke name per loot lete hai aur doosre customers ko alag se booking de kar unse alag se kamate hai.

                                  Club group of hotels sold me a holiday plan. As per the contract signed or as per the membership card received, amc was not payable extra. Earlier, it was also clarified in writing by customer care of cgh that amc is not payable on the year on which i am not using the holidays.
                                  But now when i have asked for booking they are asking amc for all the past years when i have not used any holiday.

                                  This is simple fraud and cheating. They dont honour their own word which they have mentioned in writing...

                                    I major rajnish sharma (Retd.) is myself an ex-serviceman and i appeal to all armed forces persons serving/ ex - service men not to take travel package from mountain club. This is due to the bad experience i had with them. These people are not men of their words. I had asked for booking of rooms for goa more than 2 and a half month in advance. I wanted to go with my family, children and family friends but they were not able to provide me rooms. For what i am paying to them if they cannot provide me rooms when i needed to go with my children, family and friends. They had very poor service and not even a single responsible person to attend to the complaints. See the attached whatsapp conversation i had with their manager arun mishra and the trail mail below. Again i will advice kindly refrain/keep away from mountain club and this advice is specially for my service/ ex-service brethren in arms.

                                      I placed order from club factory but due to risk i cancelled my order my order id SO32421861 club factory initiate refund of amount (32.32USD) in indian currenccy it is 2214rs ...in club factory wallet ..i opt withdraw ..on 17th july to my account but still amount is not credited ..in my account ..customer support denie to help me and asked to my bank also that is any amount initiate by club factory they said no..what i do please help me i need money n no one hlp me

                                        I have also taken the membership by paying hefty 95000rs and realized that it is not suitable for me and then i sent email to them regarding cancellation on the same day but they are not ready to refund the amount or cancel my membership. I am working with me layer to proceed further in getting my money back. They have a clause about cancellation but they are not following the same and getting there own reputation damage. May be this is how they run the business. I am trying hard to get refund as i have not used any single service from them while money is till lying with them.
                                        Club Group Of Hotels customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
