[Resolved]  Club Mahindra Holidays — membership # 2760195: request for refund due to duping and wrong practice by marketing team

My membership id sis 2760195 which is taken in the month of may 2017. The marketing team who is involved in the membership is gauraha. Peeyush and kunal. Kelkar. I got to know of the mahindra membership plan through some promotions in the pune seasons mall and have filled the form by showing the interest in the plan. Mr. Peeyush was assigned for my membership plan and he called me up and fixed the meeting in the month of may 2017.in the first meeting, he came to my residence and provided me an overview of the plan, the benefits and property details and payment options for various membership type. I rejected the offer as the payment plan did not suit me due to interest component involved.

In the second meeting, mr. Peeyush gave a call through his superior mr. Kunal and assured me that we will do some internal adjustments by logging your membership and liaising with accounts team and as such you can make the payments as per your wish and no interest will be levied. Following are the way through which mr. Peeyush and mr. Kunal has duped the member by giving false commitments and hiding the facts.

A) in the series of the meeting (Face to face and through phone), mr. Peeyush never told me that once the member take the membership he cannot cancel and the amount paid is nor refunded in any circumstances by club mahindra.

B) he gave the false commitment that you can pay 30% of whit studio membership and your membership will be active after the company receives 30% payment. Once it is active, you just have to pay yearly asf and can plan your holiday at any resort offered by mahindra and through rci. You can book the holidays through app or mahindra website. However, when the 30% amount was paid, the system was showing the emi dues from me since it was logged in through 12 installment. This was never told by anyone and as due to wrong information and cheating, i was never able to book my holidays till date.

C) mr. Peeysuh told you can enjoy the benefit of 30% of the membership amount paid and in the event you want to cancel it, you can cancel the membership any time. This was another level of cheating.

D) member can cancel the membership anytime and if you have not availed or used the membership days you can will get the full amount refunded within 60 days of the time frame and company will issue a cheque in your favor as full and final settlement.

E) member can make the reservations without depending on anyone (Sales, member relations) by using the app and website and no dues will be shown in your name.

F) peeyush and kunal took the undue advantage of their positions by giving the false commitment and assuring to member which was not as per company policy.

From last six months, i am following up with peeyush earlier and now with mr. Mohit who is part of retention. Mr. Mohit has given me few options regarding flexible payment, however, this is not what i expect and does not suit my financial plan.

As a member, i was in disadvantage due to wrong methods used by concerned marketing team and i have lost all trust on the company “club mahindra”. I would request you to take this a serious complaints to the people involved and club mahindra pune branch. Further, i would request you to refund my entire amount paid till date by issuing a cheque / money transfer to the following account in the next 45 days.in the event, if no amount is refunded or action is taken against the undersigned, i will be taking up this matter seriously with head office and will not take my step back in reaching out to board members of the company and if required to consumer forum/ social media platform.

In the absence of any response from the club mahindra in next 3 days, will assume that you accept and take this email on record and the membership amount shall be refunded in the next 45 days,
