Colive — Duping the customer with false information

Address:Colive Corporate Office, No. 755, BBMP Katha, Kote MR Plaza First Floor, 95/3, Marathahalli Outer Ring Rd, Doddanekundi, Bengaluru, Karnataka, 560037

1. I ([protected]@gmail.com) was looking for pg in sg palya (Bangalore) since i was moving to bangalore in june 1st week. So i reached out to colive to find one. My relationship manager is mr. Sagar ([protected]) and mr. Vinod ([protected]).
2. He sent us the pictures of rooms in colive tornio in sg palya bangaluru. And insisted us to pay booking amount as the property is in high demand. He also promised that the booking amount is transferable to other properties of colive.
3. After reaching there i was told to pay the deposit money and all the room which i was alloted earlier was changed which is against there policies but at that time i didn't get any perfect reply from them.
4. After staying for a month i told the manager vinod and manager raju about leaving the pg they told me to leave before 3rd of july and your rent will be settled with your deposit money.
I left the pg on 2nd of july after one month they are sending me email to address the settlement due and a legal notice. I raised my notice successfully but they delayed it by saying a technical glitch till 4th july and i deposited the key on 2nd july itself. After that today when i received the notice i tried reaching the customer care and manager but there is no response from there side.
10. This is a clear case of duping the customer. I have attached screenshots of whatsapp chat and transaction proofs. Please help me with the refund or settle the dispute with my refund money or deposit money.

Colive Customer Care's response
As per the company policy, below are the criteria that must be taken into consideration before the checkout to avoid any penalty or breach of policy:

1. 30-Days notice is mandatory.
2. Notice period raised after the 1st of the calendar month will not be accepted.
3. "No-notice" or "less than 30 Day notice" will carry a penalty equivalent to 1-month rent in the final settlement.
4. Lock-in period must be completed before raising the check-out request & the Non-completion of the Lock-in will attract a penalty equivalent to 1 month of rent in the final settlement.
5. Only at the month-end, the check-out can be done. If you wish to vacate in the middle of the month, the full month rent will be applicable.
6. Full month rent will be applicable and it can not be adjusted from the security deposit

Also, all these details are well informed in Colive Handbook/website FAQ/ Agreement. The customer has raised the notice on 4th July'23 & not paid the rent. Hence, the difference amount after adjustment of deposit will be applicable & the customer has to clear the amount for the same.
