Refund of deposit not done and harassment mails for excess amount to be paid

My daughter stayed at colive for 2 months and paid a refundable deposit of 7500 rs.
After leaving the hostel, colive has been harassing her with mails to pay excess amount towards damages, electricity and water to the extent of 13000 rs
Refundable deposit has not been paid.

During the stay too there was a severe water problem, place was unhygienic and always delays in food....

I was booked 2 sharing room with Colive chennai location on 16th Aug 2023 and i paid 18500 INR through web as they instructed as of now the room was not allocated but app showing somewhere else checked in, I contact conern person Mr.Rohin ([protected]) he did not reply properly, I feel last my money. I had very worst experience with Colive (chetter).

    Duping the customer with false information

    1. I ([protected]@gmail.com) was looking for pg in sg palya (Bangalore) since i was moving to bangalore in june 1st week. So i reached out to colive to find one. My relationship manager is mr. Sagar ([protected]) and mr. Vinod ([protected]).
    2. He sent us the pictures of rooms in colive tornio in sg palya bangaluru. And insisted us to pay booking amount as the property is in high demand. He also promised that the booking amount...

    Refund not provided for Booking amount.

    I have paid the advance amount of 2000 Rs, it went all well. Even though my checking date is next month, they were forcing me to pay the entire amount by today.

    When I ask for explanation, I didn't get enough proper response, now they are saying they can't provide 2000 Rs also.

    Better stay away from this kind of PG...

    We have stayed in Colive from April 2022 to May 2022 and security deposit Rs: 14000/- I have not got till now the security deposit amount, I keeping on following with Colive I have not got any response from them past 1 year, even the CEO is also answered the mail, kindly let us know, what we have do to get my money back.

      My name is Manoj Lokhande, and I have booked one propetes at velacherry chennai

      I had engaged with Misguided for the property in Velachery, ( ([protected]) ) representative send me different property picture on my WhatsApp after visit the property Incharge of Velachery he said that this is the difference picture, after that ([protected]) ) representative not pick up my call and due to unforeseen circumstances,


      I had to cancel the transaction. On 24 July 2023 (on colive app), Service request no-SR310718

      he continuously gives false information about refund and also same behavior at the time visiting Velachery properties (property manager is not there you cat go directly)

      I was assured that the refund process would be initiated promptly, and I have been patiently awaiting a resolution ever since.

      Unfortunately, despite numerous attempts to reach out for updates, I have been unsuccessful in getting through to anyone from the customer support team ([protected]) . My calls have gone unanswered. This lack of communication and transparency is causing significant distress and uncertainty..

        I haven't received my refund of security deposit amount from Colive after I vacated my room on 31 May 2023 after successfully completing 1 month of Notice period. As per Colive policy or terms and conditions, i have to receive my refund within 15 days after vacating. It has already crossed 1.5 months after vacating and still i haven't received my amount. I have tried to contact them and raised complaints on their portal, still I haven't got any response from them. They are just ignoring and cancelling my complaints by giving false hope that my money will be processed within 24 hours all the time without any proof or actions. I request you to please solve my problem by providing me the security deposit amount.

          My name is Dr. Prakhar Jain,

          I joined Colive Plano PG near the South End Circle metro station, Bangalore on 12th December 2021, and left on 14th November 2022.

          I took a triple shared room (Room no 207), and during my tenure, they increased the rent for me alone by 1000 rs (which they should not have done, as in the middle of the year they cannot just increase rent), not for my roommates who were staying from the time before me and even they took an extra deposit from me also after increasing the rent.

          I raised notice on 14th November, so they did not give my deposit of Rs. 9727 back to me which was there in the rent agreement, that I did not say anything, but they levied penalty and EB charges, rent OS which does not make sense and asking more money from me and after my eviction, they removed all my data from Colive app including rent receipt and all the rent that I have sent to them.

          Then they sent me a legal notice claiming I need to pay them an extra amount of 3870 (Total amount- 13597, deposit- 9727, subtracting 9727 from 13597 they are asking for 3870)

          They are constantly asking for money, troubling me, I am not at all feeling well, I never expected this kind of thing.

          There is no rent due for the customer, It was charges due to the glitch in the system. However, the customer has raised the notice to vacate the property on 14th Nov'22 which is not as per the company guidelines & it violates the check-out policies due to which the notice charges penalty has been deducted in the final settlement. The updated settlement details are attached for the reference. Also, the separation charges & E-bill are deducted as per the company policy & at actuals for EBill which are pending.

          Regarding the E-bill, if you can refer to your 1st & 2nd-month invoice you can see that there are no E-bill charges and only from the 3rd-month invoice you will receive the E-bill charges. Hence, the 1st-month E-bill consumption charges are added in the 3rd-month invoice. For e.g. E-bill consumption for the month of Jan will be charged in the March month invoice and so on. Hence, at the time of final settlement, 2 months E-bill will be pending which is adjusted from the deposit.

            The sales person asked me for a refundable reservation amount of rs. 3000. But the PG that was booked by her was unavailable. Hence I have raised a refund request via app and form. However there is no response from them and the customer service number is also not working.

            Attaching the screenshot for your reference.

            The sales person is Niminipriya Naik. She blocked my number because I was asking her for refund or another PG, but she couldn't help. I am unable to reach her as well.

            Could you please help with the refund.

              Refund not give

              I joined Colive Minneapolis 554 on May 28th 2023. I paid the rent for one month(₹7000) and ₹ 2000 as deposit. Then I paid the rent for June (₹7000).

              Since June second week, there is no water in the bathroom and even to drink in the PG. I have complained to the manager, the owner and also the operational manager about this, they kept saying it will be fixed but nothing was done. I waited patiently until last week of June....

              Refund of Reservation amount

              As I had paid reservation amount to Colive property on 25/06/2023 still I didn't receive any updates
              And only for Reservation they are delaying so much then further process is difficult more over they also didn't say about water Scarcity as most of the review is on water problem in the property

              I stayed at colive Bangalore property from dec 2022 to jan 2023. I have paid the full amount but haven't received my security deposit back. I am still getting mails saying that i have dues with colive. The app doesn't show any dues, i have bank statements to show I have completed the payment. I have tried mailing and calling almost all numbers of colive, no one is responding/lifting calls. Absolutely absurd behaviour from colive.

                Booking amount not refunded

                I booked single sharing room in February and made booking through colive app. Later I was denied single sharing room and asked for my refund which I paid at time of booking. Since February no one is listening to me and not even giving my refund....

                We were new to Chennai, and essentially looking for apartments to stay. A Sales agent with the name Rinku, approached us, and essentially asked us for the details and said that we needed to pay 1500 INR to check out the property. Usually Colive does not provide refunds. But, this sales agent committed over email that they are going to process the refund. Initially, he spoke on behalf of Colive. But, then they mentioned that since it's an associated property, we will get the refund. Upon constant pestering, he provided us with the Google map location of the accommodation where the property manager said that there were no place to stay. Essentially, the accommodation looked very different from what it was shown on the paper. After the sales agent pestered us till the middle of the night to make the booking amount of the other two rooms as well. When we declined, he started hurling abuses like "liars" at us. Then, he threatened that unless we pay the whole amount, he won't process our refund. This mockery of the stay situation continued where we told him that we were done with him and his behavior and that we wanted our refund, to which he said he is looking into it, and now, saying that he is not even going to process it.

                  I have booked a colive stay as per available shown in application. And I went that place on proper time and date . Caretaker didn't given room to me by saying there is no availability for room. And Iam contacting for the amount which I payed they are not responding

                    I was looking for pg in Hyderabad. This guy named Rinku called and asked me to deposite booking fees of 1500. When we went to the pg on assigned date, the owner said they don't take booking by colive and no room was booked in our name. Now he is not responding to call or text. Kindly get my money back.                         Colive has not refunded my security deposit of Rs. 16, 465 for my previous tenancy at Colive WhiteWings. My lease agreement with Colive ended on 31st march, and I have since vacated the property in accordance with the lease agreement.

                        I have tried contacting Colive WhatsApp chatBot, support number and already wasted around numerous hours in trying to reach on official channels. This is very frustrating and I was not informed...
