I started staying in Colive Brockville (Kodathi Gate) in April 2022, and for around 6 months the electricity bill was larger than mentioned in the while contract signing, and I've been mentioning that repeatedly to the property manager who seems to be changing each month and customer service agents but they'll say pay the base amount and we'll clear all the dues before the next bill but didn't do anything. This, as well as other miscellaneous charges, were being added and I specifically said I won't be paying anything extra apart from the 18k rent and 600 ebill. But these dues started stagging up to around 4k in the span of 6 months and the property manager and customer service agents stopped responding and I had to speak to the bot which was of no use.
I left Colive in Nov 2022, since Colive and the property owner had a disagreement. Colive informed me to vacate the property and move to the nearest property 10 days before the end of November via an app notification. Not even a proper mail or call to inform that. When I tried contacting the property manager from the Colive side he never picked up my calls. The property that Colive suggested moving to was terrible and I refused to move and continued staying in the property by paying the property owner and ending my agreement with Colive. When tried to contact Colive via messages are calls no one picked up except for the bot that says "Our agents are busy right now, we've noted your number and we'll call you back", but no one does.
After 2 months, Colive sent a poorly generated notice saying I'll have to pay around 1.4L for not paying the October bill and extra charges and charge for sending the notice. Then after replying to the mail saying I won't be accepting their notice along with all the proofs of them not responding and me paying my rent to the property owner there became silent.
Now After almost 5 months on May 18th, 2023, legal notice from a legal coordinator, named Siddharth Saysamindar from privatecourt.in, asking to either pay the due amount or the matter will be taken ahead.
In the duration of around 7 months, I have had numerous threats from Colive to pay the amount for the month that I was not even staying with them, and on top of that penalty charges for not paying the rent. Their representatives do not even answer the calls after assuring to resolve the issue.
I, hereby, raise a complaint for mental harassment and fraudulent activities against Colive.
Hoping for a prompt resolution.
