I had raised a notice period on the 1st of January and vacated the premises on the 17th. Paid the rent for the whole of January. I had given two months of rent as security deposit and i was already informed that about a week worth of rent will be deducted at the time of settlement.
I got the settlement report after a month, where it is mentioned that, from the 34, 000. about 4918 has been deducted(this includes 1 week rent + electricity charges), which is fine. The rest amount i.e. 29083, should have been refunded, but they only refunded 19083 to me bank account and kept the rest of the money in the name of a ongoing offer that the company was providing. They kept 10, 000 in the my profile wallet saying that this amount can be used if i ever use colive again. But f not then i can redeem this amount in my bank account by filling a cancellation form, which i did on the 24th of February. It was mentioned on their settlement mail that it would take about 30 working days for the amount to show up in my bank account. Therefore after waiting for 30 working days(which actually comes about to 45 days) also, i didn't receive any refunds.
Then i tried contacting the sales guy who had onboarded me to colive - Chinna Keshav. Told him my problem, to which he replied, he doesn't care and kept the phone and is not picking up since. Then i contacted the property caretaker(Uddishwar Thupakula) and found out that he has already left the company and also he has no contact of anyone in the company. Luckily i found the number of a senior person in colive with whom i had talked once Surya Prakash. Called him up, he say to contact the sales guy and when i explained him that the sales guy is not helping, he asked me to raised a SR request on the app, which i had already done. Therefore i provided him with the request number and then he suddenly kept the phone, and he is also not picking up the call since.
Therefore it is very clear to me that this is a long form scam scheme and these people have no intention of refunding my money. I searched online and found out the they have done the same very many others as well.
So i am raising the complaint request so that these people can be held accountable for what they are doing and no one else have to endure the hassal of going through these things.
Please help me get me refund and penalize this company.
