I had registered a complaint for the same with the customer service & also sent them the dispute form with written complaint. They told me that it would take about 45 days to 6 months before the issue could resolved. Even after several follow up calls there is no response from their side. Now their agents are harassing me and my family that they will sue me if i dnt pay 40, 000 INR.

ABN AMRO Credit Card — Service Distortion

My issue is date of birth mentioned in my card was wrong. Also I did put for medical benefits
from ICICI lombard where the wrong DOB was mentioned .So,Incase If I go with any mediccation definitely chances was there to face a problem. Therefore, with in 2 weeks of received correspondance, asked to provide a new card with correct dated and as well in insurance documents.
1. Got reply from executive for a proof of year of birth. I sent a soft copy of my driving licence.
2. No reply for more than a month( waited from March 22nd 2007 to May 14th 2007).Meanwhile, insurance premium and late fee deducted in my account. Statements was not clear and had discrepancies of details compare with customer care executive. 3. Later I frustrated about the service and sent mail for cancellation of insurance.Dated May 14th 2007 4 Finally cancellation done and got reply on July 23rd 2007.( more than 2 months taken for cancellation) 5. However, they want me to pay Rs 5,810 towards the cancellation of the policy including the late fee in the month of November 2007. My question to bank right from the beginning is if correct documents provided, why would i have not made payment? whats justice is there dumping late fee & cancellation charge which was not acceptable? Now, in CIBIL database my name was reflecting as default as i could not go for any personal loan in last 1 year.how the worst service ABN AMRO provided to me, total mistake was done by them and i have been suffering.

ABN AMRO Credit Card — Unnecessary harresment by credit card collection agency

I have used ABN amro credit card for more than two years , initially everything went ok ,later there was some disput which continued unresolved for more than 2 years no ABN AMRO person is able to resolve have sent more than 100 mails on it, in the end i got a call from ABN AMRO executive there this case can be a resolved i[censored] make a payment of Rs. 43,000/- which will be like a settelment as we are not able to resolve your issue ,meanwhile i kept on paying the minimum to ensure that i dont stand on default category.
I was requested to pay Rs.43,000/-(actual card usage was less than this) i accepted offer and recived the letter and handed over the cheque which got cleared in 2 days time , later i was surprise that the settelment amount written in the letter was not Rs.43,000/- but it Rs. 43,500/- , which i ignored as there was only a difference of Rs.500/- ALSO I WAS NOT APPROCEHED BY ANY ABN AMRO EXECUTIVE for this error and the person happily took the payment and matter got resolved.
To my shock i got a call exactly after one year that there is a outstanding of Rs. more than 85,000/- against Rs. 500/-.
It is undoubtly bank officials plan to ensure that case should get resolved and u can extract more money ,else the issue whould have been bought into the notice immediately , i m planning to go legal for the same , my request never to use credit card of ABN AMRO now RBS ever in the life.
I have got call from Kotak Mahindra bank saying there was amount of Rs 5800/- on my ABN amro credit card which I closed 7 years back. I'm not sure what purchase I have done which they says it is done 7 years back. Dont have idea where to check about this.
I am also facing the same issue. I had settled my ABN AMRO credit card in 2009 and after 6 years, these KOTAK Bank people are calling me and harassing for the payment. I have already sent the scanned copy of the settlement letter to girish.[protected]@kotak.com and ms.[protected]@kotak.com. Inspite of these they are still calling and harassing me for the payment.

Please let me know how to deal with these people.
