I bought my daughter for college a top of the line Acer Aspire laptop. The first year, everything was good. Starting year two, things started to malfunction. First the camera (trip one), then the heat sink/fan (trip two). Since my extended warranty was about to run out, I wanted to have the left side USB ports replaced (not working) and DVD drive replaced. Trip three yielded a non working USB ports upon return. Another round trip to install current drivers for the USB ports at ACER.They must thing I am stupid. Another boot up, STILL yielded no USB. I suggested back on trip three that the motherboard needed replacement. Back to Texas again. New motherboard this time and new battery. Thought I was done. Five days later-dead-nothing-nada. Back to Texas again. ANOTHER motherboard with new keyboard and battery. I have to be done now, right? 10 weeks with out my laptop so far, and thousands of FEDEX miles traveled . I gave my delivery guy a big smile yesterday with my laptop in hand. NOW the battery will not charge. ACER tells me that the battery is NOT the problem. I will TELL you the problem. ACER techs are sending out faulty machines without repairing them professionally. I had my lawyer draft a letter demanding a current top of the line new replacement laptop with the same features I had before. i am the same guy who posted this complaint the whole drama is settled by just removing the 750 rs. head of acer kerala one buddy name vinod got into act and checked all thing. Even he also told me that the firmware couldn't be gotten. For everyone's knowledge lenova is giving firmware for the same model dvd drive to there customers.

Helaas moet ik konstateren DAT mijn telefoonkosten, heb al 12 keer gebeld, behoorlijk oplopen maar het resultaat is nul komma nul. Veel beloftes worden gedaan, maar ik wacht nog steeds. Ook zijn de mensen die ik aan de lijn krijg slecht Verstaanbaar en geven de indruk DAT ze niet weten waar ze het over hebben. Ik heb al een RMA-nummer maar krijg geen ups-label en geen telnummer van de Desbetreffende koerier. Ik vind DAT er een onderzoek moet komen naar het personeel op de klantenservice en Tevens wil ik mijn geld terug voor het Onnodig Moeten bellen naar 0900 nummers. Mijn laatste stap is dat ik nu verwacht van Acer DAT ik binnen 24 uur geholpen wordt, is dit niet Het geval dan acht mij De noodzaak mij te wenden tot de klachtengeschillencommissie en daarnaast Radar in te schakelen dan de barre service van Acer.

i completely agree. we should file a suit against acer company. case for frauding its customers. they just know to loot people.

I had purchased acer laptop 3 years back and after 5 6 months i was not able to see the screen properl. The screen used to be full white and i had to restart the whole pc. Recently I had given it to reliable computers in vile parle mumbai and they said that the problem was with the IC and they charged 5500 from me telling that they have replaced the ic with a new one which i dont think so. it was fine for 2 3 days. then later i was facing the same problem. I talked on the phobe with them. they wanted to take my laptop gain but i refused as i dont trust them anymore. I wanted them to repair in front of me which they refused. I need a resolution for this as i feel they have cheated me. I want strict action to be taken against them.

really the quality of acer notebook is really worst...i brought it in june after two months curser strat hanging thn its start sounding bfr start...really bad exepirence...never go for acer ...

acer laptop 4736z — i'm just fooled by them
respected sir,my name is githesh,im a health worker,i bought a new laptop last year march 1st.there for the warranty of my product ends this month.now im really fed up because that the laptops mother board got a serious complaint after 13 days from the end day of warranty,i think that this is a way of them to sell laptops..too bad...sir i am a below average man and i don't have enough money to pay.please help me sir only 13 days are over please i beg you sir

I told i will come tomorrow and hang up the phone. Now here guys the service charge written is 750 rs. why should i pay the charge as they haven't rectified any problems on asking for firmware they are saying they asked there senior authorities and they didn't know about it or don't have it. and also they have made my cutoff switch messy due to careless removal of panels ( though i admire it was loose and should have told them to take care while working with panels). Tomorrow i am going there and going to have a written letter over all procedures and moving it legally.
