[Resolved]  Airtel — Airtel Deducted Mobile Balance on UNWANTED SERVICES

My name is Diksha & I have Airtel Prepaid Connection [protected].
On 2nd July 2013, around 11:15 A.M., my mobile main balance was 150/-, at 11:15 A.M. I got two messages from AW-CVHTUN,
that I've charged 51/- for choosing a service Hello Tunes. My deducted balance was 99/- only.
Again in the afternoon around 1:45 P.M. I got two messages from AW-FFMUSC that I've been charged 30/- for choosing a service Talk2me, which in real I didn't chosen, never. & now my remaining balance is 69/- only.
I'm afraid that, airtel will deduce my remaining balance on the name of such unwanted & useless services, as my last mobile balance was deducted completely by the same process.
I want Airtel to return the exact amount, deducted from my mobile Main balance on these services.

i am getting an awful response from airtel. they have activated some services from airtel live on their own and i keep on losing money. without my registering, i started getting jokes from airtel. also, they have themselves put a hello tune to my number for 1 year which i never asked for and deducted 200 rs . i have lost more than 500rs. they tell me to call 121 to deactivate airtel live but that is not working. i am highly pissed by their clumsy handling.
moreover the costumer care executives keep on repeating that i have asked for the services and have downloded from the net which is not the case.

AirTel — Unwanted WAS service

Hi,

My airtel number is [protected]. I have been trying to stop this VAS service but still I am not able to. This is extremely disappointing. I have told to STOP service to 121. The 121 service is useless as it says that there is no service in my name and still I am getting cricket updates. Please look into this matter as soon as possible.

on 13th august 2009 morning 9:35a.m. i got a massage from 543212 that thanx for subscribing devotional vp and my 10 rupees were deducted...
when i talked to one of the customer care exe. he told me that "sorry sir dis service is by mistake activated on ur phone and i m deactivating it, u'll get the balance within 4 hours..."
but when after 10 hours also i din't get my balance back . i again called 121 then there was mr. shsishir who stubbornly told me that " u have subscribed this service on 13th august eve 6:00 p.m. and disconnected my call, and after that my call is not getting connectd wth customer care..."
sir i am a poor guy plese give my balance back ...

Without informing, airtel service provider are deducating charges for the services which

Pretty true..sme days back dey themseves activated my hello tune srvice nd deducted rs. 45/- ...when i contacted dere customer service dey gave lame nd unbelievable reason that somebody called up from my no. to activate this...What a shame!!

True. I am prepaid mobile customer of Airtel and am being charged for services which I have not subscribed for. For ex: Getting charged for daily bollywood pictures subscription. I was not even aware of such service exists untill I am getting charged from Airtel. It is almost impossible to find a way to UNSUBSCRIBE. Airtel MUST include a number and instructions to UNSUBSCRIBE for all the messages that they send to the customers. In USA, I think it is illegal for any company to not to include a way to unsubscribe for any kind of subscription services in their communications to the customer. I am not sure if it is the same case in India. Someone from Indian government legal agency should look into such matters and take action.

I have a prepaid airtel mobile connection number[protected]. Airtel has been charging Rs.10 for Monthly Logo Pack Subscription.

This has been brought to your customer care executive earlier also and he/she assured me that they will not deduct in future.However, again this has been charged on 26th November 2009 and 13th December 2009 for Monthly Logo Pack Subscription.

Therefore, you are requested to resovle this matter as early as possible.

dear sir,
I beg to state that , our network provider company airtel is sending us unwanted messages and unwanted calls , which is very disturbing.
They charges rupees for unwanted services like callertunes . i have already contact to their custumer care executive. .
but , no action has been taken yet.

Airtel — UNWANTED DEDUCTIONS FROM MAIN BALANCE

Sir,

1. It is informed that deduction from main balance have been deducted Rs. 0.30 at frequently intervals without browsing the internet. Due this reason i have switch off the mobile since last two days for maximum times.

2. Whenever mobile is switched on a dialoge seen on desktop that "INVALID USER & PASSWORD" and deducting 30 paise. The same can be verified from your records also.

3. I have contacted many times for the same and calls are transferred to seniors without noting down the complains by your Customer Care and after holding a long period no response given by the seniors.

4. You are requested to resolve the problem on priority and credit the debited amount. The same problem was also happened earlier with me and on resolving the amount credited.

AirTel — Deducted unwanted services

I have never activated any service through call or SMS but still they have activated such unwanted services on my Mobile. They have deducted almost 200rs or even more without even telling me. When asked that who started all these services, they told that I have called them and SMS them. I do not have such waste time to call or SMS them. I am really very angry from them after such a incident.

Few days before same thing happened on my Husbands Mobile also. If want some strict action to be taken to Airtel Prepaid Service, so that they never dare to do this again.

Hope I will get just and no one else will suffer like I did.

Airtel — providing unwanted services and charging for it

Sir Rs 0.30 is being deducted from my balance every hour or so. It says it is for browsing on airtel live when I am doing no such thing. I want this service to stop immediately otherwise I will have to take some serious action.
Your customer care service has proved useless and of no help at all.

AirTel — Deduction unwanted

My mobile no.[protected], I am really scared of your service from 2 days u are deducting amount from my a/c for g-club i.e. somethink non-required game link started said you’re your person,they refund amt on 21st july again deducted on next day, why that is not my mistake. I put DND then what is the problem. this is happened with my another no.[protected] also for same reason on 19 or 20th july.when I called on 198 said for questions dial 121,on 121 said for complaint call 198 can’t I speak directly to person this happened on 22nd july.pls refund my money asap. unfortunately, from 3 months I am facing unexpected vas services on my mobile no like unwanted activation & reactivation of desitadka’s link on web,

for this auto activated services I have lost & losing my money from my a/C balance ! unfortunately no ‘upbhokta seva adhikari’ is picking the call on the given procedure of airtel customer care no of 121 & 198 !!

Airtel GSM — Unwanted services

I been receiving sms from Airtel that "Games has been renewed,You have been Charged Rs.3.There was no request made from my side, However i did Dial *121# and service message received that this service has been stopped.To my surprise next day i got the same message saying that Games has been activated.I called the call center and complained that this kind of services is not required and ask them not to send this messages.After complaining to call center and Dialing *121# from past 1 week i have received 16 messages.How can Airtel harass and charge the customer who have not requested for services they want.

Service provider activated more than services in my number without my any concern and they deducted my account every month.I asked to customer care but they didnot help me.
