[Resolved] Airtel — Airtel Postpaid Billing Irregularities | |||
• I have Airtel Corporate Connection taken in the month of July 2012 the credit limit for which was fixed at Rs. 1000. •As per my understanding , a postpaid customer shouldn’t be allowed to overshoot or overspend beyond the agreeable limit, i.e. the credit limit. •To my utter surprise, I suddenly find my unbilled amount shoot up from Rs 846.10 on 14th August to Rs 3408.60 on 16th August 2012(an almost quadruple increase!!). •I have then found this growing continuously to above Rs 4000 like I am being benefitted by some Interest on my Investment. •My outgoing facility was then barred on 19th August 2012 finally and subsequently I receive a call from the customer payment section that I have to make a payment for a minimum of Rs 2100 before I could use the facilities of Airtel again. •On speaking to the Call Center Executive, I was mad to understand that Airtel calculates all the charges as per regular benefits and then applies for any of the special benefits availed by the customer like free calls/internet charges while the final bill is being generated at the end of the customer’s billing cycle. •In my case, as I had not availed any such special packs, so I am pretty sure I would end up shelling all these unnecessary extra money just because of the erratic way in which Airtel calculates the bills. •The agony which has been created due to the disruptive/discontinuance of necessary facilities has caused great pains to me. •The final bill generated on 31st August 2012 was of Rs 4669.69. Airtel — Irregularities in charges
I have an Airtel Prepaid connection . the cell number is [protected] ..Three days back I received a text that 'your std call rates have been reduced to 30p/min at no additional cost for a period of 30 days' .. I didn't ask for any packs, and airtel activated it on their own.. but suddenly after 3 days i.e from today, they are charging at the same rate i.e 1.2p/min. I called the customer care executives but my phone was never picked up and I'm even charged 50p for the calls which they never receive ..
Kindly look into the matter or else I'll have to shift to another service provider because of this irregularities and UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR ..

Airtel — Billing irregularities
I am having to make calls to Zambia In Africa a lot. I'm concerned about the billing rate of the calls I am making becasuse the figures don't seem to be making logical sense.I have received calls to pay my bill when in actual fact I have paid a bill. There is seems to be a problem with the way Airtel is tracking down my payments.
Could I please have a regular update of the payments I make and some clarity of how IST calls are billed.f42c
