[Resolved]  Airtel — Transfer of ownership

Hi,

This is to inform you that I am not happy with Airtel Service which I have reqeusted for. So Please disconnect my airtel broadband connect.

I visited airtel broadband showroon at indira nagar bangalore for change in ownership. They requested me to clear the outstanding balance duirng the month of July which was
Rs 623 and to submit the necessary documents for change in ownership. As per their request on 16th July 2011 I submitted all the requried documents and cleared the outstanding amount on the same date.

They took the request and confirmed that the service request number was 49076562.

I was under the assumption that in the month of July it self when the bill got generated it would be generated under the new customers name, but then when contacted the customer care people they confirmed that it will done only in the month of August.

Again in the month of August when the statement got generated it will still only under my name. When contacted the Customer care they said again I have to clear the outstanding amount for the month of August and submit the documents once again.

I said them clearly why should I do that once again since I have done the necessary in the month of July only. But none of the customer care people were able to resolve my issue.

Only during month of August again and again for this issue I have raise complaints one after the other and all of the were closed without even consulting me. The Service request numbers are 2703072, 2769520.

When I was fed up with this I finally call the Customer care people to disconnect my airtel connection, but then the lady who attended the call name Tulasi assured me that the issue will be resolved since you have given all the documents and cleared the outstanding in the month of July. She assured me only after consultaion with me the service request will be closed and she gave the service request number as 2921798.

But finally this service request also was closed without consulting with me. I explain everything clearly time and again but of no use. So i want to inform you that since I have done everything from end and its only a fault from airtel I will not pay the
outstanding amount for the month of jUly.

You can go ahead and disconnect. I dont have any issues.

My question here is what is the status of the service request 49076562 which was raise in the month of July. How was it closed. Pathatic service from Airtel. I cant pay the bill untill and unless the bill for the month of August is regenerated under the new customer name.

Airtel bill for the month of Oct 15 for telephone No [protected] is a case of Fraud committed by Airtel on a valuable customer like me. I will give the reasons for the same as under.
(a) I have not used Airtel Broadband for the last over 2 years for low speed. I opted for BSNL Telephone Np 2430006 since then & have never used Airtel Broadband & have still been paying the bill to keep the identity of land line No.
(b) My BSNL No is providing me internet 24 hrs. & giving me the best speed at a reasonable cost.
(c) I have no reason to use Airtel Broadband on 15 & 16 Oct since my BSNL connection is working. A log of 15 & 16 Oct 15 of BSNL shows that BSNL Internet was used during the period Airtel has billed me. How two internet connections can work at the same time on one computer?
(d) On 15 Oct, on a complaint that my Airtel Land line had cracking noise, Airtel Mechanic Lalit came & attended the fault. My Modem of Airtel Broadband was switched on by him without my knowledge. I could not notice it since the modem was kept away & was not ordinarily visible to anybody. However I did not change the connection from BSNL to Airtel on my computer without which the Airtel Internet will not get connected to my Computer. I noticed the tempering of Modem on 16 Oct & switched it off.
(e) I have therefore a reason to believe that Lalit intentionally switched on the modem so that a fraudulent billing could be made against my connection for internet use by Airtel. I have the reason to belief that Airtel wants to harass me for a number of complaint against Airtel made by me to TRAI.
(f) It is amazing that Airtel has billed me for the accused downloading for two days of a figure which is normally my entire month`s use.
(g) The reason of my stopping the use of Airtel Internet was extremely low speed of 2 to 4 Khz. With that kind of low speed how could such a huge download could be made in these many hours, as shown by Airtel. Is it not indicative of a fraud?
(h) My internet connection of Airtel was applicable between 2000 hrs. to 0800 hrs., The record of no of years before I stopped using Airtel Internet will show that I never used the Airtel Internet between 0800 hrs. to 2000 hrs. Does Airtel considers me crazy that I will use the Airtel Internet in the hours indicated by Airtel? Will request you to correct
