Airtel (Bharti) — Pathetic Customer Care

I hate the customer care for Airtel. The quality of service from Airtel (both on and off network) is degrading day by day.

Problems that I have faced in recent times is.

1. Network issues- frequent disconnections and worse voice clarity.
2. Customer care representative do not have correct information, so they misguide the customers.

i am trying for
low call rates for one std airtel no
but i can't get any
but in tata,hutch or etc company provied night tock sceam
but in airtel it is not avalebale
in tata for one no std rates are 0.15 paisa per minut
and local un limited

if you are ready to solve my problem so solve it

Airtel- Bharti — Poor service of customer care

Dear Sir,

I am airtel (mobile) user of Gujarat (Ahmedabad) . I must tell you that I feel I become fool by using airtel. I m connected since around 3 years with airtel although having biggest problem of call drop and network problem. But since last sometimes airtel had started giving troubles to me. Sometimes it activates some horrible hello tune and debited my balance without my permission. Then I have to do follow-ups and reminders to airtel customer care and if customer care executive thinks that I am right then only I can get it back. Now on 2nd October 2008 (after midnight of 1st October) around 12.10ami had dial 2 to3 times one no for 1 contest which is going on Zee Tv regarding Gandhi. As the whole day cell was not charged my phone got switch off when I was talking on phone on the same no. So I put it aside and sleep. Next morning after dial 1 call I come to know that my balance goes down from 172rs to direct around 67 rs. I was totally blank and not able to understand what happen in 1 night with my balance. It looks that airtel had invented new system that if your phone gets switch off while talking then you have to give fine to airtel!!!

When I asked the customer care about my balance, with my surprise I they don’t wantto listen anything and just telling me 1 thing that I had download 1 java game from airtel live. You know I had not seen such rude n elegant customer care. It was not for care of customer it is just to give pain customer. If so, I do not think airtel should any customer care, coz the Supervisor and Managers are telling that you will keep calling untill you will not get money. And they don’t want to listen anything not even sympathize the customer. I might not write to you if they had taken care of it. There are certain reasons to not believe what they are telling. Which I mention it below

1. I am customer since more then 3 years, you can check my history that how many times I had called you people for getting some money back or any complaint. I hardly use to do it coz I know what I m using and what not using.
2. You can check my history I am regular user of Mobile office (GPRS –unlimited usage), for that I do regular recharge of 402rs every month except this last 2 months. So when I had that facility had not download anything, why m I going with the chargeable.
3. As per your so called customer care if I had download any game, send me the link and let me know when I had connected the net. Coz since last 30 to 40 days I had neither use airtel live nor Mobile office. But your people are not ready for that also. They are telling me that I had just click it and immediately I had cancel it. So stupid am I!!! The person who is constantly using your Mobile office services since past 3 years and don’t know about such things!!! Is it possible?


Anyway there is only 1 thing which I would like to tell you that your customer care is not for the customers, it is for the maxim giving pain to customers.

Airtel - Bharti — PATHETIC service provider

i ve been using airtel since the past 3 yrs and i ve never been happy with my decision to choose Airtel as my service provider. Within the first 4 days of my no being activated i was sent a bill of around Rs. 1500/- With countless attempts and visiting the Airtel gallery every alternate day to sort out the glaring mistake by them they just refused to accept it as their fault and demanded a full payment from me. Out of disbelief and disgust i jus discontinued the service. And then not learning from my mistake bought another Airtel card on a friend's name. and i ve never been at peace since then. All airtel wants & knows is to CON people.
They deduct money from my balance as per their whims. Calling them on their so called "customer service" the executives manning the calls are in a mood for a 365 days holiday. They just dont want to talk to you and flatly keep you on hold until you give up and hang up. Some go to the extent of hanging up on your face. The once who do speak to you are highly incompetent and their reply to any & every query you ve is a standard "the system is down, call after __ hrs OR our system is not updated, call after 24 hrs." Deductions are made without ever informing the customer. God alone knows how they manage to go around calling themselves the best service providers??
I am writing this mail to airtel mobile because by mistake I am a consumer of airtel mobile no. from couple of year which I bought over one of my colleague advise .buying airtel connection itself buying a problem where you get monthly punishment in terms of your huge bill .There are various grievances which should be notice by our sleeping & lazy telecom authority e.g. call dropping, week network (Mumbai Fort-01- Nr.Flora Fountain), pathetic voice quality across everywhere, wrong & complicated bills, I am really sorry to say when organization like bharti can't afford this large of customer than how it can dream on adding more client. I requesting to my sleeping telecom authority to wake up & maintain balance control over these tele services providers like bharti airtel to keep safe public interest.

I ensured myself before writing this mail that nothing going to change or happen but still being a citizen of india I should raise my voice.

AirTel — voice clarity

Why the voice is not clear of outgoing and incoming call of Services provided by you And your company i.e. Airtel Telecommunication. i request you and your company please tell me the reason of voice clearing problem. on my personal email_id [protected]@hotmail.com

Airtel (Bharti) — Regarding mismatch of call duration

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I Mr. Ramesh consumer of Airtel Services and my mobile number is [protected]. I was calling to number and the call duration for that number is 8min 59 seconds but the service provider has charged for 9 min and 1 sec and I launched a complaint but there was no proper response. Kindly register this complaint and settle us the same.
I had requested to convert my prepaid number to postpaid 3 days back. I called up customer care to know the status of the conversion. Between the lot of background noise from the customer care side, and the poor voice clarity of Airtel network, I was able to explain my query to the customer care representative. Prepaid customer care representative advised me to contact postpaid customer care and gave a number. I called up the postpaid customer care. The lady on the other side was not able to hear me (thanks to the pathetic Airtel network). Call got disconnected. I connected to the CC again. This time I was able to explain my query to the representative. She advised me that it was not the correct number for postpaid CC. She gave me another number (*121# option 5). I disconnected the call and tried the number as advised. However I realised that there is no option 5 with the *121# menu. I tried some other relevant options, but in vain.
This kind of service really frustrates a customer. I have now decided to move out of my Airtel fan-boyism and port to some other reliable network.
