I am using airtel broadband since last 15 years.
since last two years i have been using six month advance payment plan. I have been complaining this since last two times that my six months plan revoked automatically to the monthly basis once it is due without any notification.
Since last three months I am getting a call for the bill payment and I have been patiently explaining the same stuff to the caller person and requesting them to record the call and convey the problem to the senior authority who can solve or guide the issue.
Even though I was not happy with this kind of service but I was hopeful that one day Airtel will solve the issue and this customer and service provide relation will be on right track.
But today I have received the call from one of Airtel money collector and which was not in a good manner by abusing words.
Even He threaten to get into my house when only ladies were at home. now this is a very serious issue. If that person will step into my house or call then Airtel will be responsible from onwards. I do not like to say in this manner but what Airtel has done to the person who is using connection this long time, I have no regrets of saying that.
I will pay the bill once the issue is solved but will not continue this relation. I will also see that this matter go into public.
You please officially disconnect the connection. There are plenty service provider who are ready to provide connection with my track record.
I will wait from the authority for some time.

I am posting the complaint here as last resort to get my Airtel broadband Number: [protected] disconnected. I have called 121 Airtel customer care ample times to get the disconnection request considered and processed. Every time I call, I get one of the below response:
-Why do you want to disconnect? we will waive off your 1 month's charge.
-Please do not disconnect, you are our valued customer.
-Please dial in again with right options selected for broadband.
-Please dial in the number I am giving you. You are in Maharashtra circle and the call has come to Hyderabad (though 121 is central number and I did not opt for Hyderabad).
-Transferring the call to supervisor and then endless waiting.
I am a happy customer of Airtel post paid mobile service and Airtel DTH. But I cannot say the same thing for Airtel broadband connection after going through all these. To be honest, the kind of customer treatment I am receiving has raised a doubt in my mind for Airtel brand.
I am unable to understand what is so difficult in accepting a legitimate request to get the connection deactivated while I had also cleared all my dues in time. When I called to 121 on 13 July 2019, I was said that the request is taken. When I asked for the request number, I was been said, "Request is in process, once accepted, a request number will be generated and shared to you on SMS".
No word since then until I received ebill in email trail. Called back 121 again to register the issue and request for deactivation. I was once again responded with not so specific answers and was asked to call on some other number. Customer service representative name was "Usha". This time I refused to disconnect the call until I get a request number. [protected] was shared to me as the request ID. It was also said that I will receive a callback in next 24 hours. Nothing happened.
I have also dropped and email to [protected]@airtel.in, but the email bounced off.
Please note, I have always paid my bills in time for the services I have used. I have tried my best to get the connection deactivated. I am not going to pay any bill sent to me for your broadband connection with me as I am not using the service since 13th July 2019.
