[Resolved]  Airtel Broadband — Complaint regarding Broadband Connection

I am writing this with high level of frustration and disappointment caused while applied for Airtel Wired Broadband connection. I would say it is probably the worst service that any ISP can provide to a consumer. Lot of communication gap and false promises from their end really tested my patience.

I applied for Airtel broadband connection through Mr. Ramesh on 25th Jan 2013 and submitted copy of ID proof, address proof and photo. I also paid Rs.1,100/-(Plan charge 1050+Notary sign charge 50) through Cheque. He said someone from the technical team will be contacting me within 3 to 4 working days. Waited till 04th Feb 2013 and there is no response from ISP's end. I call the customer care and registered the complaint with Ref no. 28251790. On 08th Feb 2013, I got a call from Airtel representative saying that broadband connection is not feasible and the amount paid will returned back through cheque within 21 working days. However, Airtel applied for cheque clearance on 09th Feb 2013 which was one day after informing me about technical problem with connection (don’t understand why????). I got pissed off and called them again on 11 Feb 2013. Other call centre representative's answer was that currently connection not possible but will provide me update in next one week (by 18 Feb 2013) . In between I tried to call the sales representative (Mr. Vassu and Mr. Ramesh) but no breakthrough.

Kindly do the needful and look into the matter.

Airtel — No response regarding Broadband Connection

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is to inform that i applied for new Airtel Broadband Connection by Mr.Harish Talwar(Senior Officer,107,First Floor,Ansal Classique Tower,Rajouri Garden,New Delhi) in my name R.Venkatesan for address of C5A/60,Janakpuri,New Delhi with amount paid of Rs.500/-. He received all my related documents excluding Address proof. After some days Mr.Vikas Shankar called me and said that "Your Address proof is missing". Since i relocated from Chennai to New Delhi for my job i dont have Address proof at present. Then Vikas said "Give me letter headed paper attested by Professor mentioning the current residing address". On the same day i submitted scanned copy of my contract document and letter headed from my professor mentioned about my current address. I also submitted copy of Owner letter for current address, ID proof of me, ID proof of owner, contract document of my job and letter headed paper from Professor. I submitted 5 proofs. Next day i called to Mr.Vikas Shankar about my connection he said that "Your old connection will not be processed contact Mr.Harish". I tried to Mr.Harish regarding this and he is not picking up the call. What i do at this situation? Airtel has very good branding globally but having such Sales representatives would give lot of dissatisfaction towards customer. I request either you to process my connection or return all my documents with the amount of Rs.500/-. I hope you will take necessary action for this. Airtel — higher charges on broadband connection

i have a plan of rs525 p m broadband connection since one year but there are higher bills receved since last 6 months so kindly look into the matter and send detail charges bill which you have charge thanking you

AirTel — Not providing Broadband connection after paid amount

I have applied for Airtel Broadband connection on 17th of September 2011 by paid 1000rs and the application# 279553. Its been more than 25 days, still didnt get the connection. During these days, I have opened multiple complaints with customer care but they always say "our back end team will call you in 24 - 48 hours" and not even single call I get from Airtel. I have been escalated this issue to Customer care manager but no use. Below are the complaint# which I have been opened regarding this issue.

The pathetic part here is, whenever I open complaint with customer care, the next it would get closed by different teams with false updates. Also customer care is not ready to tell the escalation matrix to escalate this issue with higher level. Please help to get connection or get my money back.

i had taken the broadband connection on march 2011 . During the time of connection , agent told me that all problems related to modem and interenet will be solved by the airtel company upto 1 year i[censored] take the modem from the company . then i had taken the connection on that policy.

now after 8 months , my modem is not working and i have complained to the cutomer care but they are now saying that the policy of company is changed, according to new policy i have to go to the airtel's local vendor and he is charging me.but i will not pay for the repairing of modem because my modem is in 1 year's warrenty.

At the time of connection they have given me a modem whose input is 12 volts and adapter whose output is 9 volts because of that my modem is not working.

so, please solve my problem as soon as possible.

AirTel — complaint regarding Airtel team

i got transfered talktime from another airtel number but i dint get it credited to my number but it is debited from that airtel number and another thing is i am not able to reach customer care and i lost 15rupees because of sending message without knowing. i am not able to see the information regarding messages sent and left..... if i dial *124*1# its coming error.... if i cal customer care they told that they wil transfer the cal to supervisor technical assistants but after that the cal got disconnected and if i cal again the cal is not connecting.... i have given complaint so many times... but not even a single time i got responded. so plese try to over come this problem. Hope Consumer Court wil help me.
