Unnecessary Harassment and Threatening by Airtel

AIRTEL- COMPANY OF THUGS, LIARS and CHEATERS.

WARNING: READERS are hereby requested to stay on HIGH ALERT, a money sucking, threats-giving company AIRTEL has been spotted in the vicinity of the city.

Report: We bought the Airtel broadband(Minus the Landline Phone) on trial basis for a month in May and we were promised to get a discount of 3 months on the annual package without any conditions.

After May-end, we decided (Unfortunately) to go for the annual plan, RAMJI MISHRA (Sales-Airtel) told us that we would get 3 month discount only on New connection and not on upgrading current one.
He said so to achieve his sales target.

We went for the new connection(Minus the landline phone) and I received a call from RAMJI MISHRA "confirming" that the old connection was terminated.
I didnt know what was in store for us.

I kept getting calls from June regarding bills of Old connection, I kept explaining them the scenario and I also informed RAMJI for which he said he was looking into it.

I got bill to pay Service Tax which was hidden in the Main Bill and RAMJI didnt disclose this when we paid for the annual connection contract.

They "terminated" my connection for a week for non-payment of their "hidden" taxes !!
I was forced to pay for it.

I repeatedly got calls from june till december with call center people messing up with my head.
I had to explain to every new call center guy about the scenario and asked them to terminate my connection but still no luck.

Airtel sent people to my house at night at 9.30 pm !!
I really wouldnot appreciate such "so called" professionals banging my door , asking for money which was never theirs.
My Family is being threatened everyday for no fault of mine.
Noone would never tolerate any company troubling me or my family for unnecessary reasons !!

We wrote to Airtel and instead, we got a NOTICE from a Delhi Lawyer on behalf of Airtel stating that they would blacklist me from getting connection in every other company.

I am very much tired of this mess.

My Fault: I trusted this Airtel Brand.

What I Got: Threats, Disconnected service, Mental agony, etc etc

Go for smaller service providers , you would have Peace of Mind !!

Airtel Broadband — Harrasment through calling agains bill which i have deposited

Hello sir,
I wish to draw your kind attention that I , Gaurav Sahni bought a airtel broadband connection for my personal use before 10 months ago means at Dec- 2009. in the no. of [protected]. I had used this connection till middle month of may and in this month i have applied for disconnect my connection. I have complained to customer care in may to disconnect that connection and customer care executive said that the connection will be disconnect within 7 days. and they gave me a Request no.[protected] and told me that it will disconnect. After i complained again to customer care centre he told me that it will disconnect within 2-3 days and your complained is in running mode and they gave me again a Request no.33223506. After 2-3 days my phone dialtone has disconnect and phone was dead and i got the bill of 2977/-rs and i paid that amount. But after 1 month i got the bill again from airtel of approx. 3200/- rs then i again complained to airtel broadband customer care office that why you have given me the bill even i have paid the full amount till my connection i have used. And from that month i am taking a recovery calls from airtel and they are harassmenting me daily i dont know why even i have paid the bill till last. I have complained to customer care centre lots of time i have all the complaint no. of airtel but they are calling till now. Sir i am very very upset for the behaviour of airtel that they people talk like a animal with abusing language. Its already a limit gone for harrasment , thats why i am asking and requesting to you to kindly do something against airtel broadband because they are harasmenting all the innocent people who has no mistakes. I think its a company policy that to harass the clients who is innocent. And also when client wants to take to disconnect the connection then why they take the time and why they give the bills even client has disconnected the phone. Sir please do something in favour of me because i dont need from them anything then why they are harrasmenting me , and do inform them sir if i got the phone from them again then i will take action to charge them for harrasment me or waisting my time.

Airtel Broadband — Threatening and harassment

I was using a Airtel Broadband connection number [protected]. I was using this for past one and half year there was no delay in payment of bill. I am Engineering Graduate and due to global recession my joining in the company got delayed and I am not in condition to pay any amount due to the current financial crisis due to that I am having a pending amount of around 2000/- INR.The customer care people call me again and again and threat us that they will file a case of fraud against us.I am not in position to repay any bill until I get my joining.But there are indecent call from Airtel they some time they say we are calling for court or some Advocate office.

At 4th march 2009, i closed my all numbers and also pay total outstanding for these all line. And Got No Objection Certificate.

Till today i got bill for each and everyline. lots of time i complain in airtel HOuse, which placed on S.G.Highway Ahmedabad. but none taking care abt this complain. Lots of Tele Phone Regarding Collection Harres me whole day. Now they put my name in defaulter. Lots of time i inform that i got NOC. and also submitted for same but none take responsibility for these issue. This issue Fall Down my market image Reputation and My business.

Now I decide to file FIR for harresment, Dafamation, Rude Languages on Phone.etc.

before taking any action against that i wish to inform TRI for that issue. if Tri can not solve my issue i deffinatly taking action which concern

Airtel — Threatening Call from Airtel Broadband

Dear Sir,
Yesterday I received a call from 42770800 seeking to explain the special scheme for Airtel Braodband. I said i am not intersted in anything and not to disturb. I got the calls repeatedly for 3 more times and i told the person on the other side to hang up. I reeived a call from 42042451 at 6.15 p.m. and was threatened with dire consequences with lot of abuses about my entire family. I was told that if i am not interested i should be polite enough to tell them and not use abusive language. In fact the call came from Airtel Broadband representative seeking to sell their services and it is the responsibility of the person to hang up the phone when i told i am not interested.

Please look into this matter and provide me solution.

This is to inform you that I have been receiving call from [protected]/ [protected] Customer care for demand of bill payment on my number [protected]. For the record, let me make clear that I have never said that I'll not make the payment however I'll need some time to make this payment as a result of financial crisis. My past payment records can be checked and verified that all payments were made.

However the persons claiming to be customer care and calling from the numbers mentioned above have unnecessarily harassed and threatened me and behaved unprofessionally with my family. I have record of all the calls and sms send from the above mentioned numbers. I am a registered lawyer and am quite aware of the Law and the rights. I have been threatened to make payment by tomorrow, which is totally unprofessional and detrimental to the reputation of the Company and in total violation of the guidelines given by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India pertaining to recovery of money from customers.

This is to mention that I'll be making the payment by the end of this month but if I receive another call from the Customer Care relating to this, I'll file a complaint with the Consumer Forum, claiming damages including all legal costs.

This is to intimate you and in reference to the above complaint that, calls are being made from [protected]/ [protected] Customer Care numbers to all my contact details, and they are being harassed. This is totally unacceptable and in total violation of ethics.

I am now forced to take legal actions against you, and you will have to bear all the expenses.
