Airtel Broadband — Inflated bill for DSL Usage | |||
I am having the Airtel landline with Broad band connection in Delhi number[protected]. I am getting the bills in the range of 600 plus only with the plan of 555. This provides the 2GB of free usage for broadband. Since last 3-4 years, my usage of the internet has been in the range of 200-400MB only. For June 2010, Suddenly the bill of amount 2126 has been generated in my name. I talked to the customer care executive and they told that it is because of the internet usage. You can check the records the usage has never exceeded 200-400 MBs while I am having a 2GB free internet usage available. I see a major problem in this bill. I can not accept this bill and pay for the same. I had faced several other problems with Airtel like adding charges for some premium calls which we never used. Hi,
I Took the Airtel Broadband connection for [protected] . The Terms and condition was given to me as follows
1. 3GB Downloadable from (8 AM to 10 PM) after 10 PM to 8 AM unlimited usage .
2 He took my 5 Months rental in Advance .
3.I have received my second bill, saying that i have to pay Rs 473 .00
After complaint :
1. Your customer care executive explained me 3 GB Data Transferable .
2. When Modem is Switched ON . Download is countable .
I have receive the amount Rs .473 is not to me . No one is useing the connection in day time . Un fortunately some time modem may swited on . because of that Download is counted . charge has been made against that .
3 . Now my conncetion is not working during unlimited hours only works in day time .
4 . i have made comliants many ...not responding in time .
due to above reasons i am suffering a lot . kindly help me to get resolved this bill and internet related problem as eraly as possible .

Airtel Broadband — Inflated bills
I have been receiving inflated bills which seem to intentional on the part of the company. Some charges are added to the bill almost every month which once I complain to the company are waived off without much fuss. Only thing is it causes lot of inconvenience in contacting the company, explaining the discrepency and providing whole lot of information to get the corrections made. I am forced to keep records of bills received and payments made during previous months to be sure that I have all records to prove my claim which I would like to get rid off. The billing practice seem to be inethical to me.
