[Resolved]  Airtel Broadband — wrong bill generation

Dear Sir,

My airtel landline number is [protected].
Account number is [protected].

This complaint is regarding Airtel Broadband , I used the service for 2 months , i.e. July and august 2012.
After that I called the customer care to disconnect the connection as I was relocating to some other place ,and the connection for broadband was not required any more.
But I was offered not to disconnect the service and keep the broadband connection in safe custody for 2 months, i.e. from 10 September 2012 to 10 November 2012. So I was asked to deposit Rs 400 as safe custody charges. I paid the amount by credit care. The safe custody Number is 20889100.
Also the executive told me that no bill will be generated for this period, and I will get a call from customer care , to relocate my broadband connection to the place I want to relocate after the expiry of safe custody period.
But after the expiry of the safe custody period I did not get any call from customer care to reconnect the broadband , so I didn't bother about this any more.
But after that I got a call from the executive that I have some amount pending to be deposited, So asked [protected]@in.airtel.com to immediately disconnect the connection , for that mail they replied me that there is an outstanding of Rs. 812.36/- in your account for bill dated 12-OCT-2012. The final bill will be generated on 12-DEC-2012. And gave me Reference number 24492136 and the told me that the issue will be addressed by 7 days.
For this e-mail I replied that I don’t have any outstanding as I have already paid my last bill on 9 September , 2012 of Amount Rs 312.60. And again asked them to disconnect the connection.

Now I am repeatedly getting calls to deposit some Rs 1700 approx for the broadband connection which I never used after 10 September,2012. And also threaten me by saying that they will send me a legal notice.And misbehaved with me and my wife on phone call.
I repeatedly sending them e-mails , but getting reference numbers only and no resolution yet.
I also called the customer care , but they are saying that the number is disconnected and they can do nothing about this now.


I am surprised and very much disappointed with the behaviour of the company . As they first wrongly committed me and they generated bills for a period which is under safe custody.

Airtel Broadband — Wrong Bill

I am using Aitel broadband for last 18 months(Phone No.[protected]. Their billing system is a fraud on the customers. My average usage is Rs.500 to 800 for last 16 months.

This time I got a bill of Rs.2302(Bill No.[protected]. On the top of it the customer care center is unwilling to provide any detail of the billing(Interaction Id No.[protected]. Perhaps they have to generate a fraudulent details to match the bill.

Same problem occurred 5 months ago but at that time, I coughed up the amount as it was about Rs.1000. This time the has hit the fan.

Only recourse available for me is to approach consumer forum and fight it out legally once and forever.

Airtel Broadband Connection — Wrong billing of Airtel Connection

I had taken a broadband number[protected] and got a bill for the month of sep08 - oct 08(from 23rd sep to 23 oct) for Rs.11440. im not convinced with the internet charges you have charged. i want to get my bill rechecked as soon as possible.

Please look into the matter and revert at the earlist

AirTel — Wrong bill generated and misbehave of customer care executive

Airtel is busy in making new customer nobody is there to handle the complaints of my wrong bill generation...I compain several times but did not receive any response from customer care executive even they cut the phone....I don't why such a big brand in the market is giving its customer care support to such a poor companies
in second last bill i paid the two month charge of my net bill connection because my net connection is dissconnected after giving me information about decond bill.i not got any information of my second bill.
and the main issue is if i do'nt receive bill then why taking 50rs late fees.
i said to ur vositor he says u do'nt vorry sir fine will be deduced in second biil bit it not deduced i pais it.
give my the reasion why other wise i go to "upbhoktha forum" ur i discontinue ur service.

Airtel Broadband — Didn't Receive The bills

this is Anthony Squires , I am not all happy with the service which you provide. First of all the connection came after a week i have ordered. Now i still dint get the bills. My due date is on the 26th of oct but i still dint recieve it . I really regret of taking this connection

AIRTEL BROADBAND SERVICE — wrong bills generate

hello

i had given the request to customer care of Airtel Broadband to disconnect the connection in july, they had confirmed that there is no due but now thay are generating bill on the monthly basis and sending the same at home. when i ask them why they are donig that so now they are saying that nothing can happen you had to pay the amount of Rs. 2000/- without any usage and they disconnect the connection on 16th of oct.
therefore i would like to request to please do the needful on the urgent basis.

For the last six months I am facing the problem of excess bill in Airtel.
I am been charged with Late fees with the fact that I pay my bill before or on the last date of bill payment either by going to the Airtel store or by giving the payment to the Airtel executive.
I have contacted the customer care of airtel but they are reluctant to understand the situation.
I have a 649 Broadband rental plan in which I should get the bill of around Rs 715(vat added) but Airtel billing department is adding up the late fees and now the bill has reached upto Rs 1050 in the march bill.
My Airtel phone number is [protected]. Please do help me as I am making the payments regularly bt no help is been given by AIRTEl.

Airtel , Broadband — Didn't close the connection and still generating bills

Hi,

I was using Airtel broadband from Dec '2009 at my old residence #1489, first floor , Sector -21 , Gurgaon vide phone no +[protected].i was properly paying all the dues to airtel till the time i was using it. I have raised the closing request for this connection on 28 th August 2010. Even they have not closed the connection and still generating the bills . due to this , there is huge amount pending on my side and putting late fees also. as per my knowledge i have deposited all the pending dues and have to take back my security from airtel. I have left that house on 31 st august 2010 and was out of india for 100 days .Now on 28 th of November around 9:30 AM, i recieved a call from airtel customer care(female) and customer care was talking very rudely and abusing me also due to non payment.
Now , i am forced to logged the complaint in consumer court. Please have a look in this matter . my alternate no. is [protected].

Airtel Broadband — airtel generating unnecessary bills

Hi sir,
My complain details are as follows :
I raised the request for transfering the line .Airtel guys told me that they will charge 300 for transfering . i told am not ok . Because this is only building change . when I called them again they told that they dont have enough capacity in that area.I told them to cancel the line for ever.
I went and took reliance data card but after 10 days they called me and told sir can you shift your connection to any one of your friend?
I gave the contact no of my friend . they came and shifted the line to my friend .
for that they charged me 850.00 RS .
this is quite travestry of customer right .
Please whoever is here please do needful.
Airtel is a fraud company and their fixed line customer service attitute towards disconnection is the worst. They are not ready to give anything in writing/ via e-mail an jus revert on phone. they never stand by their commitments of reverting within 24 hours.

TRAI are you listening.

Airtel Broadband — high amount bill generation

My phone number is[protected] is connected along with broadband , even though we hardly use this landline number but still lokking after from the first bill till date the bills reaches more than 100 above which is really not possible as useage of the connection is not so much , considering we also use other internet connections. if this is the service airtel is providing to there customer then , i think they need to search for customers , because its simply cheating a customer who cares & trust the company. please look after this matter .

Airtel Broadband — Wrong Billing generation

I am Amritesh Pratap.
I had bought a Airtel Broadband connection in Dec. 2011.
My plan was 549/- . In this plan, Airtel marketing agent ensured me that I can browse & surf internet without any cost & i will download anything, it will be free till 3 G.B. After 3 gb, it will be payble according tariff plan.

I used that plan for 1 month. After 1 month, I got a billing summary with 1200/- big amount for that month.
When I talked to airtel customer care, they told me that "Nothing is free in that mentioned plan. All browsing & surfing are paid."

I shocked after listening that . I had cheated by Airtel agent.

Anyway, I complained to airtel customer care in that month(January) that please disconnect my broadband connection. I am not interested to continue your service. But they did not disconnected my services & my bill has generated continue without information.

After 3 month, I received again there call & they informed me that now my billing amount is 4500/- .(This bill was generated without using there connection). Now, they are calling me on daily basis & threat me that if I will not pay there generated amount, they will file a case against me & I will have to pay there amount by-force.

Can anybody help me against them so that I can get justice as soon as possible & nobody could be harassing again by such kind of problem.
Also, please suggest me, what kind of legal action I can take against him ??
Useless teams working in Airtel. Generated bills for officially deactivated account in broad band . Never keeps its system updated nor any customer care service. I don't know why these networks are authorised despite their fraudulent activities. We had deactivated our landline[protected], at March itself. Airtel you suck.
