You have requested us for refund of Local Security deposit to the new address for your Airtel number [protected]. Please be informed that your mobile number has already been permanently disconnected with effect from 22 July 2008. We would like to inform you that the local security deposit amount of Rs.500/- has already been refunded to your below mentioned billing address dated on 25 July 2008. T/E-4/20 CGS Quarters, LBS Road Railway Station, Ghatkopar West For further assistance, mail us at [protected]@airtelindia.com. We value your association with Airtel. Warm Regards, Anandhi Customer Care Executive Bharti Airtel Customer Care To which I submitted as follows Dear Sirs, I fail to understand as to why my mobile number was disconnected wef 22 July 2008 when I had submitted written request for disconnection on 04 June 2008. There is no logical explanation for a delay of over 48 days. Secondly in my letter I had requested for sending the refund amount to my new address. In fact one of the reasons for getting the mobile disconnected was your failure to update my billing address despite atleast six requests and despite repeated assurances by your customer care executives. Thirdly the security deposit at the time of disconnection was Rs. 1200, if I remember correctly, and not Rs. 500. Fourthly I have not received any refund as yet. Cheque/DD if any sent to my old address must have been received back by you or it might have been lost in transit. You may like to check with your courier. In the end may I request you to look into the case in a serious & objective manner and arrange to refund the security deposit to my new address as given in my application for disconnection as well as my earlier mail. The company has ignored my submissions. Was this information helpful? | |
