Airtel — delay in activation of SIM card

I purchased a duplicate SIM card from ARC Ghatkopar on 6 December 2007 on losing earlier one. I was promised to get it activated within 3 hours and now after making lot of false promises, it is told that due to "technical problem" it will be activated on 17 December 2007! The staffers blatantly lie and they do not know correct information or they do not wan't to tell to customers. The approach towards customers is very casual. Such companies need to be taught lessons thro' Customers Forum and be made to pay damages to customers.

Sir I have purchased a Sim Card of your Authorized Dealer in Vasai On Sunday . My No is [protected].
I had requested to your Customer care executive to activate the card but I received three different reasons different times, for the first time receipt of Documents was the problem, second time Documents were received but Activation note from dealer was not received & now when I have confirmed that dealer has sent an activation note two days back again receipt of document is as issue . Kindly look in to matter that your customer care executives are making mistakes in communication or they are delegating the responsibilities. I am not able to aces my cell phone from Sunday 16/03/2008. Kindly advise on the same or pls give me an green signal to purchase another one .

Sir I have convert my sim card into postpaid at your Authorized Dealer in Raj bagh at connect . My No is [protected] on[protected] i have submitted my form but on[protected] i check my phones connectivity and i see my phones switch off but the sim card is already insert please tell me what can i do for it because ur all show roomes are closed

I Uday Shanker, i purchased duplicate sim card to retain my previous number. As per my discussion with customer care executive, they assured me my number will be activiated within 4 hours after submitting my request form.

Airtel prepaid card connection — After submitting papers two time till phone is not activated

I have purchase Samsung Mobile 22nd June 2010 from Ambernath My mobile shopee. Same day we have taken Airtail Card No is [protected] it was worked for 2 days after that it was switched off then we had complined to the shop keeper he informed us to paper(documents ) agagin again we have given papers till today card is not workging Every day shopkeeper is telling today it will start tomorrow it will start .

same thing is happening with me the requsite papers i submitted yesterday morning but till now it is not activated, and response is very bad and the airtel people are talking very roughly

I had pick a new sim on Friday from a Dealer the document was submitted on Tuesday to the Airtel Office tell know it is Not Activated
