Airtel — RE: Change of BLACKBERRY PLAN without my Knowledge

I have been using the BLACKBERRY SERVICES on my number : +91- [protected].

Relationship Number:[protected].

In the month of ARPIL, I made a request to change my Rs.899 Blackberry Plan to ANNUAL RENTAL PLAN i.e. Rs.6,999 + Service Tax,

for UNLIMITED BLACKBERRY SERVICES.

I have also paid the charges which you can check from your records in the Bill no.:[protected] dtd: 22nd MAY.

However, to my surprise, in the month of JUNE BILL, I FIND MY BLACKBERRY PLAN HAS BEEN CHANGED WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE TO Rs. 499 + TAX.

It is not known who authorized this change and why?

If I HAVE PAID ANNUAL RENTAL, WHY WOULD I ASK YOU FOR Rs499 PLAN?

AND, due to this change, which was never asked by me, I HAVE CHARGED Rs. 18,249 in bill no.[protected] dtd : 22nd JUNE.

I was traveling and could not check my bill and my payment being done thru' AMERICAN EXPRESS ECS, it went through.

Again, in the month of JULY, I have BLACKBERRY CHARGES : Rs.15,937.50 in bill no.[protected] dtd : 22nd JULY.


I Was trying to resolve the matter through your call centers.

Instead of processing my refund on EXCESS BLACKBERRY CHARGES WRONGLY LEVIED, they have refunded me Rs.6999 + TAX I paid for Annual RENTAL.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND.

I HAVE NEVER ASKED THEM TO REFUND ANNUAL RENTAL.

I JUST don't understand how you can change an ANNUAL RENTAL PLAN to 499 without customers permission.

Also, Last two days, I am getting SMSes saying that Rs299 plan of Blackberry is active.

I AM NOT SURE HOW MANY BLACKBERRY PLANS ARE ACTIVE ON MY NUMBER?

WHO HAS CHANGED MY ANNUAL RENTAL PLAN to RS.499.?

I WANT YOU TO SERIOUSLY AND EXPEDITIOUSLY RESOLVE THE ISSUE BY REFUNDING EXCESS CHARGES ON ACCOUNT OF BLACKBERRY LEVIED TO ME FROM 10th MAY TILL DATE.

As per bills I have received so far, the amount is Rs. 34,186.00 is to be REFUNDED.

All my billing on account of BLACKBERRY should be WITH ANNUAL RENTAL PLAN EFFECTIVE from MONTH OF MAY.
