[Resolved]  Airtel — prepaid connection disconnect

i had cell no[protected] but on 1/09/2008 the cimpany disconnect the pre paid no[protected] due to non recharge of my life time prepaid connection.I recd.1 msg from airtel to recharge ur mobile with 200/-in six monthat night, but there is no recharge shopkeeper at my village .neither the comapny has given me the adequate time to recharge my cell to avoid this.i faced many problem due to disconnection this.the cell no is also given in many a/c:s i.e:nsdl, hdfc bank, borad examination.pls resotre my cell no also assure u that i will recharge 200/-in every 6 month .

i was to disconnect my phone which had been lost in new delhi, so i want to disconnect this prospaid connection.the number which should be disconnected be [protected].
I have the same problem!! I was using the prepay no. for last 8 years and everyone was having this no.

It has got more than Rs 500 balance when I was gone abroad in march 2009 and I didn't use it for about 2 months and after coming back in june 2009 when I used it ... it says unregistered sim. I spoke to airtel customer service they said go to airtel showroom. When I went to airtel showroom they said this no. was not in use thats why it has been recycled.

I said why didn't you send me any notification about this and moreover it has got balance in it, how you can recycle it and they simply said we can't do anything about it. I said I will pay your fees to reactivate it becuase this no. is very important to me. but they said in a very rude manner we have told you that this no. is now for resale.

Then I said I will sue you becuase this is just a fraud Airtel is cheating the customers. They are stealing their money and customer service is also so rude.
