Dear Sir, Sub : AIRTEL WAP CHARGES Ref : MOB NO. [protected] The above mobile number is of my husband's. Regret to mention that for the last several months an amount or Rs.20/- or Rs.10/-is being deducted continuously from this mobile towards "AIRTEL WAP CHARGES". We really don't know what charge is this and why this is deducting from this mobile continuously! After complaining to the authorities, they will return the sum after two days and again after two three days they will deduct this "as WAP CHARGES" and the same process is still continuing! As a prepaid connection, now a days we are afraid to re-charge with more than Rs.50/-! We have been complaining about this to the Executives and Sr. Executives continuously for the last four months. You can understand about this if you check your complaints book. We can also provide the complaint numbers and the dates /names of contact personnel to whom we have complained. We have been requesting your customer service people to look into this time and again. But no action has been done from your end till the date. Sorry to mention that AIRTEL CUSTOMER SERVICE is providing very poor service to its customers! Request you to PLEASE look into this and take necessary action for not deducting this amount every month. I have been using this number for several years, hence I am not in a position to change this number. If we did not get a suitable reply / a permanent solution, we have left with no other choice than complaining / file a case against this before the Consumer Court. Awaiting your reply. After complaining to the authorities, they will return the sum
and after two three days again they will deduct this and the
same process is still continuing! As a prepaid connection, now a
days we are afraid to re-charge with more than Rs.50/-!
We have been complaining about this to the Executives and Sr.
Executives continuously for the last four months. You can

We can also provide the complaint numbers and the dates /

We have been requesting your customer service people to

I too was facing the same problem for 2 weeks, ., As a post paid customer, ., i cannot avoid them too, ., ,
After making a grt effort, i found that, ., these charges are for "Text Based services"
Can try this, .,
send an SMS STOP to 121 / can call customer care for the number, .,
u can know all the services which are active for u r mobile, ., .,

In the last month, i have received 4 SMSs saying - " Thanks for using (Gamesclub subsricption) subscription service on Airtel WAP. You've been charged Rs 30/- Enjoy http://gclub.in "
I have been billed for Rs 120/- for these sms. I really dont know what are these charges and why i have been billed for which i am not using.
I have raised a request to Airtel Customer care reg this.
I kindly request you to clarify why this has happened and Pls take necessary action for not deducting this amount every month. And also pls deactivate all such kind of services in my mobile.
