Airtel — Bad services

I'm totally pissed with Airtel Broadband service. The speed is like . DSL down most of the time and to top it all the bugger up your bills(they added some pc secure and free website w/o me requesting for it) Now to disconnect the damn connection the call center wouldn't answer the friggin call.

I have been the using the Airtel service from quite some time and fortunately I never felt that there is any kind of problem in the service being provided by Airtel in any part of India. After staying in different parts of India for last 8 years I recently came back to my home state J & K and on 25th of December I purchased a mobile connection from one of your connect centre located at Karan Nagar Srinagar 190010 when I submitted all my documents and issued a cheque for the amount the concerned person reported that Cheques are not accepted and unfortunately I paid cash and they charged Rs. 30 extra for the said amount. After 1 day my connection got activated and I started using the services of Airtel within 2 to 3 days I started facing the issue of call drop and not able to connect to the BSNL numbers and Aircel numbers and I contacted customer care for this issue and they captured my call and on my request they gave me the reference number and I started facing the same issue quit frequently and every time I was facing any kind of problem I was contacting the customer care meanwhile I got a confirmation call regarding my terrif plans and the agent explained everything properly to me and in that call itself she told me that you where supposed to receive a wrist watch with this connection have you received the same I told her NO I have not received she told me to get in touch with customer care and when I contacted them every time they gave me wrong information wrong contact numbers of the sales people and wrong contact number of the main office Jammu and I called customer care frequently instead of resolving my problem within 8 days of the purchase of the connection my access to customer care have been barred. After some days I purchased one more connection with handset from airtel (FWP) when it was delivered to me it was not activated in first 3 days when I contacted for the activation they reported that this device need to be replaced with a new one and an extra cost of Rs. 400 was charged to me that only when I myself visited the concerned showroom and the new device got activated after 2 days. Once I started using the device I came to know +about a unique problem which was signal getting lost for a span of 2 minutes as I was having the knowledge of these devices I contacted customer care for the replacement of the device instead accepting my suggestions they told me to visit one of there showroom after visiting that showroom the agent there verified that this is a faulty device instead of replacing the device he suggested me to visit one of the service centre and get this fixed personally to save the time once I went there the concerned person there told me that this will take some time to get the motherboard of that device replaced as that was my office phone I thought better not to fix the set at that point of time and later on the device was fixed only after I continuously approached customer care, Nodal officer and Appellate Authority and in the process my access to customer care has been barred for FWP as well. Further more I have been cheated by airtel when I purchased my connection the terrif plan which I have signed is not being applied. Also when I saw an advertisement in 3 of the daily newspapers of srinagar regarding the service of GPRS I approached the customer care and the concerned agent reported to me that the service is not available as of now once we will start the service we will get in touch with you and I told him that I have seen an advertisement regarding the same he was not able to convince me.
It is not out of place to mention here that I have been disgraced every time when ever I contacted any of the airtel customer care, Nodal officer and Appellate Authority they are not behaving properly with me even one of the supervisor on floor threatened me. I would like to ask you if I am asking for the best of the services for my money is that a crime.
I am still using 3 connections from airtel only because Airtel believes in best of the services for its customers. Hopefully I will listen from you as I do not have access to any of the authority in Airtel i will not be able to get this issue resolved otherwise I will have to look for an alternative.

My Mobile no [protected] please chk and confirm I had never requested for ring tunes suddenly I recd a massage for ring tunes & third class song choli ke peeche has been activated and charged 30+15 for the same.

1. Please confirm how it was activated this ring tune on my mobile
2. I just want that request no & who had requested for my mobile
3. Give me the reason of activation of ring tunes without my consent
4. Who is responsible for harassment?????????????????
5. Next way is will go for legal way.

I don’t want poor services at all, please disconnect my mobile with ASAP and confirm.

i am an airtel subscriber from last 5 years firstly as an postpaid as well as prepaid subscriber {for this u can search my cell nos by my name there}
and i m having lot of airtel no's but from couple of months when i call to 121 there r few s.exectives 2 whom i am known e.g muneeb zaffer, sayim, etc when i m calling on 121 they r dropping my line 100's of times they r doing and they r nt resolving my any issue there for which i have changed again my no.. and all r saying that u r mad {yesterday shazia(any s.exective there) said this wods and especially muneeb zaffer, sayim, and sibat rizwi r holding my line upto 52, 54, 42, 24, 29 minutes
if now any issue arises there i am afraid to call on 121 cz of holding my line there and they told me that w have recieved a mail from bharti dont give any info. to this subs.

on date::29-11-09 time::6:56:24 am a message from airtel service came its number was 55381
it stated that "thank u for subscribing for daily jokes and 1rs will be deducted daily from ur account"
i was totally surprised with the sms that i got from airtel . i never subscribed for any type of joke messages from airtel.
situation started getting worse
Airtel network started repeatedly sending messages like "sim card registration failed" and Airtel signals from my cell phone started disappering.. whenever i went to message inbox and typed some message
Airtel network
sended messages like "operation failed". This was happening repeatedly many times.
i felt like frustrating and i was unable to send any messages from my cell phone.i even got feared that if i would recharge my account balence wheather Airtel would provide proper service or not?
i contacted customer care executive of Airtel and told about this problem but the executive was not bothered
and he simply disconnected my phone.


i even got more frustrated when my friend gave a call to my cell phone Airtel started telling that
"my phone is switched off please try again later"
while my phone was switched on.
this is a worst experience that a customer can have from a network.

recently i got a message from Airtel on date::[protected] time::7:27pm
it stated that "your benefit validity of RC 26 message offer ends tommorow"

is Airtel trying to fool customers?

i recharged my account balence with RC11 message offer on[protected]
and it was valid till "[protected]"

i use my cell more for sending messages and i really had worst experiences from Airtel network.
i am helpless please try to solve my problem...

This is regarding bad services of my airtel dth with customer ID [protected].
I have been sending mails to [protected]@airtel.in from last one month but nothing is done regarding my complain.
Dear Sir,

I recharged my mobile phone no. [protected] with Rs. 28 on dated
20/08/2011 to make call rates lower .40 paisa, but today i got the
message that my validity of this Rs. 28 recharge is expiring in next 3
days.

I have both the messages of Airtel, in which one says that my validity
for Rs. 28 recharge is 19/09/2011 & other message is saying that
validity is expiring in next three days.


Kindly reply what is this happening & I am paying Airtel service tax
for such kinds of valuable service .

Hello Mr Mittal,

Kindly open up your eyes and ears and see where your organization is going.
It has been such a beautiful journey Airtel had in India, but it now seems like you are loosing it all.

Unnecessary balance deductions, ill mannered customer executives, bloody illiterate low waged workers at the call centers are the qualities of Airtel nowadays.

Mr Mittal I suggest you buy a ordinary airtel SIM from market and try to get a issue resolved from your customer care, you will drink cynide by the end of the call.

Do not think that if Airtel is an established brand it cannot fall......
I mukesh Gupta From Faridabad .maine airtel ka 2 connection purchase kiya .or us ki verification mai 6 working days laga diye .jis se mai ne dealer owner ( mr. mangla ) ko bataya.or us ke bawajud koi bhi action nahi liya gaya.fir se maine dusre no. ke liye baat ki mujhe 24 hours ka time diya gaya.but wo aaj bhi 72 hours ho gaye h.29/9/12.3.06pm
