[Resolved]  Airtel — not Getting UPC code

Dear Sir,
I am Jitendra Singh From Orissa using the airtel mobile Number [protected] since last 4years and I want to port out my airtel no. but whenever i am sending sms (PORT [protected] TO 1900) for generating UPC ( unique porting code ) they are not providing me the UPC code & everytime Re1.00 is deducted from my main balance ,In this way i lost all of my balance up to Rs100.00. for this messages. After that many times i.e more than hundreds of times i Called up customer care and did not get any response they are just receiving the call asking the name and saying pls stay on line i we r checking and keeping the call on hold for sometime and after that disconnecting the call.. I dont know what to do now?? any one can tell me if there is any other way to get the UPC code please????, being harrashed from this i think airtel is very worst in this market and a no.1 cheater deducting money from customers fraudly,I am not ready for any kind counciling. All that I need is just a UPC code. If I dont get that in a day or 2 . I am going to throw this SIM and will go for a new SIM and also i will tell whoever using Airtel in my home (9 people) and all my friends circle to stop using Airtel and throw it in dustbin by breaking airtel sims.and move to Bsnl.

Hence,it 's my request to TRAI and INDIA Governments that please take some necessary actions against those operators who is not sending porting code to their customers after deducting money for the same sms and for that they must be charged a heavy penality so that they can be taught a lession,If any kind of informations required from me please do contact me on [protected].

This is Siddaraju. I am using Airtel number [protected] for last 5+ years. Currently I moved to Bangalore City outskirt where I dont get Network properly. It is very painfull and frustrating. Hence I have decided to move on to different Service provider. I have sent sms PORT [protected] to 1900 several time but did not get UPC code. I even talked to cust reps they said some one from backoffice would call me. I am not ready for any kind counciling. All that I need is just a UPC code. If I dont get that in a day or 2 . I am going to throw this SIM and will go for a new SIM.

If Airtel really want to me back they should send me the code now. else will hate them and also whoever using Airtel in my home (5 ppl) will stop using Airtel

The same problem is there with IDEA as well.
Have sent the PORT msg to 1900 5-6 times, till now have not received any UPC number and yes getting charged for this as well.
If you get to know any other way to Port, please do post it as well, it will be helpful
for a lot of people.
Can DOT ot TRAI take any action against these erring Operators.

AirTel — Not getting UPC

I have sent message to 1900 for shifting my service provider several times for my 2 airtel numbers. But I am not getting the UPC number from airtel.

My two numbers are [protected] and [protected]

I called customer care several times and they keep giving complaint registration numbers...

Please help soon as I want to shift my numbers immediately.

Sir, I am ankur mittal using airtel services. My no is [protected]. I am not satisfied with airtel services and want to switch to vodafone.But i am not receiving UPC code(porting code). I have complaint about
this to nodal officers , to appellate officers and even mailed them so many times and every time they told me to wait for 24 hours and assured me that they will call me with in 24 hours but they did not and now i am not believe in appellate officers and their commitment.And still not received my UPC code. Hi I am SAJAD ASHRAF DAR from Rajasthan. My number is [protected]. I have purchased this sim from Delhi NCR Hindan Ghaziabad in 2011. I was transferred to Kanpur in 2016 where I ported this sim from UP west to UP east that is Ghaziabad to Kanpur. I went to airtel store on 29 may 18 to change my sim from prepaid to postpaid, all formalities were done, upc code was generated, new sim was provided for which I paid Rs 250/- and I was told to wait for 3- 4days. it has been around two months now and nothing happened. Now I have been transferred to rajasthan where I visited airtel store who simply ask me for upc code which is not generating. I spoke to customer care and they too are confused that whether my sim is prepaid or postpaid.i have mailed customer care airtel.nic.in three times but nothing happened. I am using airtel from last 10years but I felt really sorry for such disgusting and irresponsible behaviour. I urge airtel owners or whosoever responsible to please look into this matter.
I have not received upc code and I am not able to use airtel live tv I am facing lots of problems so resolve this issue as soon as possible
My Airtel Account # is [protected]. And I have had many issues from the past 2 years that I am not receiving many text messages and complaining to Airtel never helped me..

Working Examples:

1. I would receive all my text messages sent by normal users.
2. I would receive all the OTP messages sent by Banks.

Non Working Examples:

1. I never receive the UPC Port Codes
2. I never receive messages to register my mobile for My Airtel App.
3. I never receive messages from Airtel to convert from Postpaid to Prepaid.

Airtel Customer care said that they cannot take compliant because they do not have an option to take a compliant. We reached out to Airtel Store and even they said that you need to call Customer Care.
Same problem with my airtel number as well - [protected]. So many issues which airtel is not able to resolve over a long period so now i decided to port it to another carrier but Airtel is not sending UPC code. What should I do?

Jio sending blank SMS

I sent SMS to 1900 for my jio number MNP. All the time I am getting BLANK SMS from 1901. Why I want to change for JIO to other operator is the innumerable and frequent SMS reminder for recharge weeks ahead of the due date and even after the due date, that also intimating them I will discontinue, and the reminder also for 878xxxxx83 to another number 883xxxxx80. I will try again, if it does not work I will lodge a complaint to TRAI and GOI.
