My father is using BSNL No. [protected]. We are residing at South Tukoganj, Indore where we were facing too much network problem.

Recently we have applied for number portability and wanted to switch into Airtel. It was in process but before completion of long process of number portability BSNL has deactivated the SIM.

Now we are going BSNL and Airtel offices to get activate the SIM but BSNL is referring us to Airtel and Airtel is referring to BSNL.

Inspite of back to back follow up at both the service provider we are not getting any solution and our number is still deactivated.

Kindly please look into the matter and help us in getting the SIM activated.

    R/Sir airtel company cut my prepaid balance rs 21.90 on dated 11.03.2011 without any reason and infermation. after this i contact CC No 121 CC answer me cut your balance For activate value added Service activate by us. but SIR a did not activate any value added service. SIR i did not recive any sms and call on this date from airtel SIR please check how activated this service. THANKS Ajay Kumar

      Sir, I'm frequently recieving the message, "Thanks for using (Yahoo Zone Subscription services on Airtel WAP...", from 64611010 and charged me 10 rs every week. I did not even subscribe, let alone use the said service.I tried to call the customer service but there's only the computer going on and on about the hello tunes service.

      So please unsubscribe the service or I shall be forced to quit using your services. My number is [protected]. Thank you.

      They have a habit of giving unwanted services on the prepaid connections. They installed Cricket updates, bajjans without confirmation from our end.
      I called their service centre and complained against it all the three times. Then they take 3 days to deactivate thus making money and mockery o[censored]s.

      I would like to know how to go about this as in comparison the amount lost is very small, but many people may lose money when they do not notice it.

      I am using airtel sim from 6 years and from last 3 months large amount of balance is being deducted from my airtel prepaid numbers [protected]. As per the CC information Easy Search service got activated in those numbers but i haven't got any message regarding the service. Even after requesting CC people to deactivate the service nothing happened. CC agents failed to deactivate the service and 198, 121 options are disabled to my numbers. Still the amount is being deducted. Please deactivate the service as soon as possible...

        I had recharged my airtel prepaid connection( [protected]) RC44 for SMS pack.But they activated cricketnews service free for 2 days.After 2 days they started deducting Rs.1 / day.Customer care executive told me that they cant deactivate it online and asked me to wait till 15th of this month.Remember, Rs 1 is deducting each day.Cant i get a solution for this? Heavens sake MNP is there and i'd rather switch the operator
        Same happened with me..They started deducting 5 rupees per day...until the day I saw my balance lowering down!! Had to Stop he services without starting it. Now, ho would return the balance??
        Now they aren't connecting to customer care executive.IVR is saying dial *121#, and disconnect the call!

          Respected Sir,
          This is aarish and the complaint is in regard to my landline number[protected] ,which has been registered in the name of my dad (S.Ramesh). Actually ,we have a total outstanding bill amount of Rs.3000(app) from the month january until now.But we feel that we have been overcharged for the landline usage since we have'nt used the phone to that extent. So,kindly check out the credibility of our bill amount for the months as stated above.
          Another issue which i wish to bring to your notice is that i haven't been briefed with a novel way of blocking the outgoing calls of my landline phone. The methods suggested by your customer care officials were tried by me but it is not coming into effect.So,kindly,acknowledge me with the correct way to block the outgoing calls of my phone. Thank you,

            Hi,
            My Airtel Mobile Number is [protected]

            I called on 6th March 2011 on 121 to activate 3G on my phone and just in few minutes I got message saying 3G has been activated and soon after that I received another message saying Requested Service Settings cant be download on phone, call 12118 for manual settings. I called and the person was unable to provide with any help and raised a Service Request No 36216080 saying somebody will call or I will get message by 9th March 2011 09:30:00

            I waited till 9th March 2011 till 18:00 but nobody called; and till 9th March 3G was still not activated; again I called and I was told that Service Request No 36216080 has been closed and the person again raised a new Service Request 36278034 and told some configuration for my Iphone which I did accordingly.

            On 10th March Finally I get a Message : 3G is activated. Soon after that I saw 3G icon on my Iphone and then after 2-3 Hours it just got disappeared. The browsing speed was around 0.5 Mb wheareas I was told that I would getting anywhere between 7.2Mbps to 21 Mbps, and while 3G icon was there the signal strength went to just 1 BAR. Since 10th March I cant see any 3G icon; Its running on my normal Iphone Internet Plan. I called up again on 11th March 2011 and told all the issues to customer care ; All the guy could do was, He raised a Service Request 36326626 and saying the Team will get back to me by 18th March 2011 13:30.

            Does take 15-20 days to activate 3G or to resolve problems related to activation of 3G?

            It is hard to believe that AirTel does not seem know the solution to fix my problem. I have decided to wait till End of March 2011 and if the issue is not addressed, I will move on with other 3G providers.

              Dear sir,

              My mobile number is [protected] and it belonging to ORISSA state. On
              Friday[protected] time around 11:50 AM automatically one service named
              airtel tadaka activated in my mobile number [protected]. When I called
              customer care they are unnecessary arguing with me stating that u have
              activated through internet this service where as I have not at all
              activated that said service in internet. If fact I don't have internet
              service pack activated in my mobile.

              Afterward I disabled that airtel tadaka service by sending a message
              and again they activated one service named hello tune automatically
              and made my balance negative. Now they blocked me to contact them. How
              can u block to contact customer care? Is it legal? What a useless and
              harassment situation they are creating. In the name of service what
              these people are not doing fraud?

              Please don't cheat the peoples. First appoint proper customer care
              person and give good service. No company can survive by this type of
              cheating work. Might be some of your customer care executive or you are
              office people activating some service for their benefit and harassment
              facing by we people. Try to find out what is going on in your company.
              This is not me who is facing this problem, a huge number of peoples
              are facing the said problem but previously I was not believing this
              but when it happened with me I understand. I m requesting u please stop
              this type of cheating to innocent people.

              Can any body do something on this my matter please do some necessary
              action as soon as possible. These people always doing this type of
              useless things. Please stop these types of cheating.

                i had one broadband connection with airtel[protected] which was disconnected by me on 4th or 5 th september 2010 with complaint no.37181468 and reference no was 1192531 they said to me this is cancellation no. also i went to airtel head office ,ferozpur road ,ludhiana , to disconnect it they sent me back with this reference cum cancellation no. and said to fill the last bill till 16th september i did the same and paid it Two months back call from delhi office came regarding the same issue and it was toldthat your matter is closed and the above saivd no.is alloted to other some people, today 12th march 2011 again from airtel office with phone no.[protected],Rahul SHARMA was threatening that you will have to pay the bill even if you have cancelled it he will send recovery team to recover the amount he has tried to dis respect me with loud and filthy language so i request you to take a stun action against Airtel and Mr. Rahul Sharma
                My Airtel landline complaint no. is 3199106 dated 30 august 2011. my friends if you want broadband connection please it is request that not go for airtel. because there is very bad service of airtel. customer care
                people is very smart they gives only goli not work. my connection best it world (india) pvt ltd. there nodal officer also vesy any time. now three days has passed on one executive come here so my next step is disconnect this connection. because its simple than solve the problem.

                  My prepaid mobile no. is [protected]. Yesterday a sum of rupees 15/- has been deducted from my account stating that i have made an ISD call whereas i have never used ISD. Most of the times Airtel deduct money from my account for the services which I never asked for / used. The company is cheating its customers. Moreover customer care number of Airtel does not respond.
                  I have several spoke to your customer care executive. There is no response from any person. My problem is international calls are made from my mobile without my knowledge. On 08.03.11 I recharged for Rs.222/-. On 09.03.11 somebody made an international call from my mobile No.[protected] and a sum of Rs.210/- was deducted from my balance. I am really surprised that without my knowledge how can anyone make an international call. I had requested your executive to bar all my international calls. But he did not do so.

                  Please I once again request you to bar all the international calls from my mobile immediately.

                    Dear Team,

                    I had purchased 32" Sony Bravia LCD before one week and after contacting several time to customer care on phone you people are not able to install Digital TV at my home (Junagadh, Pin 362001). Every time I had been diverted to different process to contact the dealer of Airtel Digital TV and asked for the installation.I had also tried for that and got replied that they do not have stock of HD TV. very ironic !!!

                    I have experienced very poor service from AirTel and it seems lack of networking and alignment in technical as well as sales team from Airtel Digital TV even before it yet to be installed. Eye sores for team Airtel way to go friends...........

                      I'm not a customer of Airtel and do not possess any Airtel number. I got a mail from Airtel Legal Department some time back stating I've some payment due and I replied to that I do not have any such kind of number. Today I got a call from legal department of Airtel and somehow they got my address everything and stating one of my friend name Karthik took a connection and I do not know any person with that name. It is kind of harassment for me. Please suggest and let me know how I can proceed with this.

                          We have Airtel Digital TV connection since last 1 year. Recently there was some signal problem from Airtel becuase of which our connection has been lost since last 5 days. We registered a complain on the second day itself on which problem started. Inspite of following up 5-6 times there was no response from Airtel and they even didn't send their support engineer to even look into the matter. I hope Consumer Court will look into this matter at their best possible way.

                          Following are the details of complaints made to Airtel from our side:

                          Complaint Number raised to Airtel support on 11th Mar: 5821331

                          The complaint # 5804318 raised on 9th march was automatically closed though our issue is still open !!!

                            Hi

                            I have been a customer with airtel for almost 7 years now. I use the number [protected]. I had moved to Delhi for approx 8-9 months and taken a dependent connection there.
                            My delhi number was [protected]. This was a corporate connection in the name of my brother-in-law Mr. Abhishek Jaywant.

                            I moved back to Mumbai in the first week of December. I changed my number sometime around 2nd or 3rd week of December and started using my old number -[protected] again.
                            I had to apply for the connection all over again.
                            I made way too many trips to the airtel customer care centres in gurgaon to ensure that my number is retained beyond the expiry term of safe deposit scheme that you guys apparently have. However they sounded helpness and they told me I could keep it in safe deposit scheme only if I go to Bombay and request for it.( Highly unreasonable, but that is what u expect from your customers). As expected it could not stay in the scheme and I had to apply for a fresh connection.

                            I got my old number as a new connection and started using it in December, When I got the connection I asked at the centre to get my Delhi number disconnected. This happened across the counter and I was assured it will be done.

                            However I made a call around the 12th of jan when I got to know that my number is still not disconnected and I have been charged rentals. I spoke to your representative to wave off the rental because it was an error at your end and I will pay the remaining amount. He asked me for a transaction number to which I mentioned that the disconnection request happened over the counter and I was not aware of any request number given at that time. Your executive therby agreed to wave off the rentals and asked me to make a payment of Rs 860. I asked him to send me a bill for the same and I would make the payment. I did not receive the bill. The bill that came to me was password protected and even after sending mails asking for the password, nothing was sent and I never received a duplicate bill copy. I still dont have a bill to verify how the amount chargeable to me is Rs 860.

                            I was very sure that I will not make the payment till i get a bill. Till DATE I dont have it.

                            Now unfortunately my brother-in-law who's dependent connection it was has been getting calls that his number will be disconnected if the payment is not made.
                            I spoke to your customer care again yesterday. The person I first spoke to told me that my bill amount is not Rs 860 but Rs 1095. I was shocked to know that Airtel is charging rentals again for a number that has been disconnected. DISGUSTING. She said she could not help me with my query and transfered the call to a senior who tells me that no matter what I will have to make the payment for the additional amount charged as rental because the number has been disconnected and now he cannot do anything about it.
                            He told me that he will not wave off the extra rental charged and if I want I can write to the id [protected]@airtel.in


                            Its simply disappointing to see this kind of service from Airtel. In the past I have faced innumerable issues with Airtel. Just to name a few

                            1. I requested was ISD to be activated and I was told it will be done. I reach my destination and I dont get any network. I called back home from a local phone only to know that Airtel wants a security deposit of Rs 5000 to activate it.

                            2. I Do not get my airtel bills for the new connection [protected]. i only get calls to make the payment.
                            3. I have an airtel broadband connection in my husband's name who is a privilege customer -for which again bills are not sent.

                            REAL SERVICE.

                            I AM DISGUSTED WITH THE WAY YOU GUYS HAVE STARTED FOOLING YOUR CUSTOMERS.

                            I STILL DONT HAVE A BILL AND I NEED TO MAKE THE PAYMENT. COME WHAT MAY, I WILL NOT PAY BEYOND RS 860 .
                            I AM 100% SURE THAT THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A PREVILIGED CUSTOMER FOR YOU. BEING WITH AIRTEL FOR 7 YEARS HAS REALLY NOT HELPED ME AND OFF LATE HAS ONLY CREATED PROBLEMS FOR ME.

                            I WOULD REQUEST YOU TO PUT AN END TO MY MISERY AND SEND ME THE BILL SO THAT I CAN CHECK IT AND MAKE THE PAYMENT. BE REST ASSURED THAT I WILL NOT PAY EVEN A PENNY BEYOND RS 860. IF YOU SEND AN E-BILL PLS DONT FORGET TO SEND A PASSWORD WITH IT.



                            U GUYS SHOULD PULL UP YOUR SOCKS, THERE R WAY TOO MANY SERVICE PROVIDERS WHO ARE VYING FOR OUR ATTENTION. AND IF YOU CONTINUE WITH YOUR SERVICE VERY SOON YOU WILL LOSE A CHUNK OF YOUR CUSTOMERS.

                            Highly disgusted and disappointed.Having been a customer for 7 years with Airtel now I seriously think of switching my service provider. Dont think loyalty to you guys pays.

                            IF i do not get a response within the next 48 hours I will file a complaint in consumer court.

                            I have been a customer with airtel for almost 7 years now. I use the number
                            [protected]. I had moved to Delhi for approx 8-9 months and taken a dependent
                            connection there.
                            My delhi number was [protected]. This was a corporate connection in the name of
                            my brother-in-law Mr. Abhishek Jaywant.

                            I moved back to Mumbai in the first week of December. I changed my number
                            sometime around 2nd or 3rd week of December and started using my old number
                            -[protected] again.
                            I had to apply for the connection all over again.
                            I made way too many trips to the airtel customer care centres in gurgaon to
                            ensure that my number is retained beyond the expiry term of safe deposit scheme
                            that you guys apparently have. However they sounded helpness and they told me I
                            could keep it in safe deposit scheme only if I go to Bombay and request for
                            it.( Highly unreasonable, but that is what u expect from your customers). As
                            expected it could not stay in the scheme and I had to apply for a fresh
                            connection.

                            I got my old number as a new connection and started using it in December, When
                            I got the connection I asked at the centre to get my Delhi number disconnected.
                            This happened across the counter and I was assured it will be done.

                            However I made a call around the 12th of jan when I got to know that my number
                            is still not disconnected and I have been charged rentals. I spoke to your
                            representative to wave off the rental because it was an error at your end and I
                            will pay the remaining amount. He asked me for a transaction number to which I
                            mentioned that the disconnection request happened over the counter and I was
                            not aware of any request number given at that time. Your executive therby
                            agreed to wave off the rentals and asked me to make a payment of Rs 860. I
                            asked him to send me a bill for the same and I would make the payment. I did
                            not receive the bill. The bill that came to me was password protected and even
                            after sending mails asking for the password, nothing was sent and I never
                            received a duplicate bill copy. I still dont have a bill to verify how the
                            amount chargeable to me is Rs 860.

                            I was very sure that I will not make the payment till i get a bill. Till DATE I
                            dont have it.

                            Now unfortunately my brother-in-law who's dependent connection it was has been
                            getting calls that his number will be disconnected if the payment is not made.
                            I spoke to your customer care again yesterday. The person I first spoke to told
                            me that my bill amount is not Rs 860 but Rs 1095. I was shocked to know that
                            Airtel is charging rentals again for a number that has been disconnected.
                            DISGUSTING. She said she could not help me with my query and transfered the
                            call to a senior who tells me that no matter what I will have to make the
                            payment for the additional amount charged as rental because the number has been
                            discon

                            but as you can see, after giving them ample time and forewarning them about raising this issue with a competent authority, nothing at all has been done by the company, not even an attempt to address the problem.

                                I have been trying since 7th march to get UNIQUE PORTING ID from airtel mobile but i am not getting any reply from them. When I called customer care for 4 times, but every time he gave me vague answers.

                                my cell no is [protected].airtel prepaid user, i wanted to port my cell to tatadocomo.my unique porting identity no is AM368421 and expiry date is 09/07/12, i submitted all my documents on 29/06/12 at borivali-west tatadocomo gallery.i received sms saying my request got rejected due to active porting order existence in the system at 12.53.01hrs on30/06/2012.i made repetative calls to airtel and docomo service providers but in vain.please actvate my docomo as early as possible.

                                  I have recharged booster for 195 schemes are airtel to airtel 10 paise other mobile 50 paise and 10000 sms free but this time they have not given any sms for me i called airtel customer care last week they informed that i have 100 sms free per day but they deducting 50 paise per sms.

                                  no offers for old customers. they are showing interest only on new costumers. costumer care peoples are very rude for evry1. no respect for customers. they wont listen for wat we say. they are directly saying to port to other network. from past 7 years we are the costumers of the airtel. we are not understanding why we are still staying in air tel.

                                  Hoping tat airtel people can understand thier old costumers problem.

                                    I have a Airtel prepaid no. [protected] and I am unable to make ISD call from last one week whenever i tried it showing me Invalid Phone Number. I was trying to call from my mobile to customer care it also not connected then i was try with another no. then customer case executive didn't understand my problem and dissconect my call couple of times.And i need to call daily to USA .So please try to resolve my query.                                         I have Airtel prepaid sim mobile number is [protected]. It is a Retailer sim used to do EC recharges. At first I get this sim to do e-recharge for my owned computer center. At that time I added about 60-80 valid Airtel customer to airtel network from my family,relatives, friends and co-workers circle. And also sold about 200 airtel sim cards and many activations from this and other 2 retailer sims. But for that the Dealer paid only Rs.150 for all those activations and dint get any useful profit, so I get backed from selling or activating and e-recharging. Then I do few recharges for me and my family only. So I got severe notifications from network and dealer to do e-recharge and activations, otherwise my connection will be barred they said, but I cant able to do that as I used the number personally and I gave this number to many important things. So to get rid of this. I do a e-recharge of rs.2 to convert my e-recharge sim to ordinary customer sim, My sim get changed to ordinary sim and when I tried to Port my sim to Vodafone they rejected my request. I complained to Airtel customer care. The officials said that they will give offer don't go to other network, but they dint give any offer I waited for about 5 days and they not even allowing me to change network. I called customer care for about 15 times every time they are saying that it will be solved within 48 hrs but nothing happen. The customer care is very useless one, they only do compromise, and doesn't take any useful steps. Please tell me where to complaint about that in TROI or MNP porting house or Consumer court. Please help in regarding this

                                        actually after my complaint one official from airtel called me today and i cant understand what he is telling. i understand one thing he asked me send fresh porting request that is for third time after the expiry of current upc. when i contacted cust care to get further details. one cust person asked me to wait for another 24 hours ie another 24 for 10th time. i dont know what these useless guys are doing. the cust care persons are very worst compared to IVR even it can give much information. just throw these persons to hell. again i am frustrated irritated by airtel guys. such a useless network. i realize me as fool for being with such a network fot 5 years.
                                        Finally after all these problems they called me from airtel and said to give an offer of A-A 10ps/min and airtel-other mob at 30ps/min and STD at 50ps/min for a daily rental of rs.1/-. Thank you to Airtel. But they said that the same will be activated within 48 hrs, so I have to wait for it for 48hrs. I decided to wait and see. Let's wait and see.

                                        Ya, you are right. The said to give me the offer for 6 months but they stoped the offer before 20 days thats within 3 months I think. I think to port my sim again but dint know which network to port
