[Resolved]  Airtel Data Card — Cancellation of the Airtel datacard

Dear Sir/Madam

I had taken Airtel Datacard connection on 14th September but later on 17th september I cancelled the connection due no proper service from Airtel Persons.
Inspite i had cancelled the connection You have sent me a Bill of Rs.144.83. How can you people do this to me, when i have not used the datacard for single second.
After cancelling the connection people from Airtel they collected my Datacard back.
My airtel no. is [protected]
I am not going to do the payment and why should i when i havent used the card.

So please do the needfull

Airtel — cancellation of my card

i have deactivetd my card before 3 months, for that i send needed information to airtel but i never received proper info. from them. but when i see that card now, the card is still activated.they charge last three months bil from my credit card .
i dont no what to do, that;s why i yesterday i went to chembur gallary, i submitted written comlaint against them .
Billing of Airtel datacard is rubbish and I want to cancel the connection as early as possible.

Aitrel Data Card — Aitrel Datacard

Dear Sir,

I've purchased Airtel Data card No.: [protected] from Airtel outlet vide Recp No.: G-540 Dtd.: 24-Apr, 09 from Airloi, Since the day i've purchased the data card, i couldn't use, as everytime we get the message that you are unable to registered, sometime no range & i've even time complaint to Airtel Customer service, but all in vain.

The Airtel Customer service are least bothered, they give the vage answer - discontinue the card; It is also surprising that i've learnt that the Deposit is not refundable, initially they told me it is refundable.

When i scolded on Airtel Customer service rep, he has given his mumbai compliant Office No : [protected] - MR. Abba Gupte e-mail : nodalofficer.[protected]@airtel.in; I've send him the mail & tried to call him on his cell, but he is not attanding the calls.

In short Airtel has cheated by giving the Datacard. Kindly suggest how to take a serious legal action, so that other should not get cheated like me

I request everyone, that no one should buy airtel data card

i think airtel should not hav done to dis innocent customer they hav said the speed is 155kbps n they r givin only 53kbps. i suggest u just talk to them abt dis problem they will certainly...c through ur complaint...if they think that they hav done all right then i think u should disconnect the net connect and ask for a refund...

i had taken a data card of airtell n i used for 1 month, b/w tht thousand of the times they disconnected the connection sayin' some crap of address verification n all tht. Many a times i went to the center n shouted at them n asked to make it proper.

since all were working at our house we asked them to come after 6 but they couln't come on the time tht we used to say them n do addr verification n they used to ask me to wait though they used not say the proper timing for us... so we coudn't leave our work n wait like an jobless for a week or till they come n do some stupid senseless addr verification(though we had provided passport as proof).

finally got frustated with the connection n also with the false billing n asked them to disconnect but thy asked me to wait for a period of 3 months to disconnect it. n nw i think its 3 months ... 'm nt sure whether they ll take back my datacard or not... (if any knows about it let me know...)

It is intimated that due to my unexpected transfer from mumbai w.e.f 01 Dec 09 i would like to permanently disconnect my present airtel data card whose no is [protected]. It is pertinent to mentioned that i m also vacating my billing address on the same date.

It is therefore, requested that necessary action be initiated at ur end at an early date and pending of bill amount be intimated to me on my email address for early settlement of bill.

Hi,
I had taken airtel data card connection with 599 unlimited plan, just 15 days before in mumbai.The speed is so hectic that it is taking 10 minutes for opening gmail.Customer service is so worst that the cant fix the problem.Also there is no facility to increase the speed in data card.I m very fade off with this.

Please anybody suggest me if there is any plan to surrender it to airtel and get back the money as i had got the card @ 3500 INR.

Airtel — Cancellation of connection and excessive bill

I am having Airtel Internet Broadband Connection Account Number 15718895
(without landline). As I was getting transferred from Gurgaon to Pune, I
requested Customer Care (Request # 363798)to transfer the connection to Pune on
July 24, 2010. I was told that I would be contacted in next 24 hours to update
the feasibility if the connection can be transferred to Pune on my new
address. Later, I contacted Customer Care multiple times but no response was
provided to me except that I would be contacted in next 24 hours. At last I got
frustrated and on July 31, I asked one of my friend to visit Airtel outlet to
confirm the feasibility of connection transfer in Wadgaon (Pune). In just 5
minutes of time he confirmed me that it is not possible to transfer. I am not
sure what is taking so long for customer care to find out this information. I
did not expect this kind of bad coordination between Gurgaon and Pune Airtel
team! Also, always I received the same response every time that I would be
contacted in next 24 hours for sure but that 'SURE' never come up.



Anyways, by this frustrating service I updated customer care to cancel my
connection on August 2, 2010. Till now I have not received any call though I
have already contacted Customer care multiple times. I have even escalated this
request twice and talked with the seniors of Customer care executive. They told
me since the cancellation request is handled by other team so they would be
coordinating with them and update me ASAP but the result of coordination is yet
to come. Surprisingly, when I contacted them today still the request is on same
stage where it was on Jul 24. Also, when I interacted with one of the senior of
customer care executive, he told me that I would not be charged of any rental
after Jul 24 since I have made the request of connection transfer. However,
when I inquired of my bill today, I was shocked to see that my rentals are
still being deducted. I am really shocked to understand why the charges are
being deducted against my account even the confirmation was given to me by one
of the Senior of Customer Care Executive. Also, the request has been logged
long back and not a single call received on this request till now from Airtel.

I even tried to contact Nodal officer (Reference #[protected] but no one is picking the phone and noone has provided the response on this yet. Even today I got SMS of paying the bill of 2685/-. Don’t know why I am being charged of the subsequent months even I raised the request of cancellation on Jul 24 (one month before!!!). I am not sure why should I pay the bill after Jul 24 even though I have not used the connection and raised the request with Customer care. If they didnot respond to that then why I am being cgharged for.

Now I have only one option to come to you. Please help me!!!

Hello team,

Requested for disconnection of my Airtel data card number ([protected]) to [protected]@in.airtel.com on 31st Oct'17 and no any response received till now after forwarding reminder mail also. I have already paid the bill amount Rs. 707/= as per bill received.
